This is now the second optima I have owned and I have to say that I am truly impressed with how KIA has improved over the years. The leg room in this car is fantastic and it's quite comfortable on long rides. Handles nice, has nice acceleration, rides smooth, it's great on fuel, and has very few problems. The interior gets some criticism from some consumers but what I love about it is that it sacrifices flashy exotic dashboard designs for genuine comfort and space. I would argue that the value of the newer optima models exceeds that of the almighty Honda Accord or Toyota Camry. I literally love driving this car and I miss it when I'm riding in someone else's car. The only issue I ever had was with my last optima, which was a knock sensor issue. Kia fixed it free of charge rather quickly and gave me no problems at all about it. My current one has over 50k miles and runs like brand new. You can't even feel the motor running when it's idling. I would recommend this car to anyone looking for more bang for their buck and for anyone who has 1-2 kids.

Just traded in my 2013 for a 2018 with less than 18,000 miles on it. I loved my Optima and wanted another. This one is nice, but missing the heated steering wheel my other EX had. I like the looks of the cabin on my 2013 better than this one, but it’s not bad. It’s a smooth comfortable ride, good on gas and has some nice safety features. Definitely not disappointed.

Ali was good. I had the financing secured online as well as a couple others to choose from that Ali provided.. Made sure the car was in tip top shape before delivery and handled everything at the RMV. Extremely satisfied with the process.

I just purchased a 2018 Kia optima from a used dealership at first I was concerned. But it only has 48,000 miles on it. Now 51,000 I always thought Kia was a girl car. But as a man. I love it. It has plenty room in the back. The car runs smoothly and I like the safety alert it gives when another vehicle is to close on you. I didn't want to drive it to work but the gas mileage is much better than my 2004 Ford escape . I've had my Kia almost a month now and I'm still trying to figure out how to work the features. Yes I recommend this car. Even if you get one with 100,000 miles on it. It would still run great

This car now has almost 170k miles.other than normal wear and tear and some recalls the car has been excellent. The real subject here is KIA . They have been a real stand up company. In my opinion KIA has had my back. KIA will be my next purchase

I've got A 2&3 year old this car has exceeded my expectations. My Kia has so much room for the kids or just riding in traffic to enjoy the sun. I NEVER imagined I'd own a Kia but I'm so glad this is what I decided on. Ive always purchased vehicles solely on looks and mainly performance and the 2019 Kia Optima is on my top 3, It's great in city and on highways while also looking slick and almost like a much more expensive car. Love love the Kia, I gotta hand it to the engineers on this one. Plenty of space great gas mileage and is much more then your everyday original stock filled car options. I still feel like a kid rolling around in it. #STILLGOTIT#

A Truly Pleasant and Honest Car-Buying Experience I was feeling really upset this morning because of a dealership that kept changing the price, but then I happened to find a car that caught my eye on a website. Then I made an appointment at Merchants Auto for a test drive. At first, the place looked a bit quiet, and I wasn’t sure what to expect. But from the moment I walked in, I was impressed by how friendly, professional, and proactive everyone was. There was about a $3,000 difference between the price I saw online and the one initially quoted at the dealership. I mentioned this and also showed them an offer I had received from another dealership the day before. I told them that if they could match that deal, I’d sign right away. They worked hard for nearly an hour — checking different options, running numbers — and finally made it happen. I signed the paperwork and made the down payment on the spot. Even better, the finance rate they offered was about half of what another Boston-area dealership had quoted me, which helped offset that $3,000 difference. What impressed me most was that the price we agreed on during negotiation was exactly the same when it came time to sign the papers — no hidden fees, no surprises. It was a bit of a drive to get there, but it was absolutely worth it. I’m genuinely happy with my purchase and the entire experience. I have a 2006 Kia Sportage LX with 100,700 miles on it. As you can tell, I don't particularly drive much. But my Sportage has been VERY reliable. (I call it "Ole Faithful.") In 15 yrs I haven't had to put much money into it. Other than a set of tires, a battery, and regular oil changes, I've had to put in an AC condenser and a power steering pump totalling about $1200.00 which isn't bad over 15 years of car ownership! When I decided to get another car for long distance road trips I immediately added the Optima to my short list. My priority was a mid-sized car with great safety ratings and features, and comfort. The other vehicles I considered were the 2019 Accord, Camry, and Sonata. After MONTHS of research I decided on the Optima S. I LOVE. LOVE, LOVE this car, and do not regret my choice one bit! It checked ALL my boxes, plenty of interior and trunk space, technology features, and of course safety (blindspot, rear cross traffic, lane keep assist among others). And as far as value for the money, Accord and Camry couldn't touch it. The gas milage is listed as a bit less that the Honda and Toyota, but I have been getting between 37 and 39 mpg highway, and 32 to 34 around town, so I really can't complain at all. I'd highly recommend adding this car to your list, to anyone looking for a mid-sized family car.

I admit it, I've never liked car shopping. The research, hours at the dealer and the usual endless negotiations have never made for a fun experience. When I went to 495 Mazda to test drive a CX-5, I was expecting more of the same. The first surprise was the dealership itself... there wasn't one! They're in the process of having one built so the building in place right now is more like one of those trailers you see at construction sites. Instead of a showy inside, it was just round tables, a TV and a very comfortable vibe. And the cutest French bulldog named Whitney greeted me on arrival and slept in my lap during lease negotiations! My salesperson, Ben, took a great test drive with me covering both highway and back streets so I could get an in-depth feel for both surfaces. He also covered every feature in detail and helped me set up everything from the radio to how soon my doors will lock when I get out of the car. Mike, the Finance Manager made the paperwork a breeze. Everyone was really nice and made the experience a positive one. Best of all, I LOVE my car!

I bought this car used from friend they did have motor problem but they bought it new so kia replaced motor and my daughter drove it couple years then when she graduated I took Kia and bought her new car for her and grandkids and I have been happy with it. It's my everyday car because it gets great MPG. It's got 160k miles about 50K on new motor. So far no issues just keep her up to date on oil changes and stuff. It's 1st Kia I ever owned and I would definitely give them another go if time to buy another vehicle.
