Bought the vehicle new in October of 2023. Now it’s March of 2025. Have yet to have an issue🤞though have heard of common problems many have had. I’ve put roughly 20 k miles on the car in a year and a half (mostly interstate driving). Technology package is lovely and the vehicle has an overall stylish feel. It’s important to keep in mind, though, that you’re buying a 20k dollar vehicle from 2023. It’s plastics galore in there, so, though stylish, the material quality isn’t the best. If you’re someone who takes care of your things, you shouldn’t have an issue! Use the maintenance schedule found in the Owner’s manual and this vehicle should get you where you’re going for a reasonable amount of years. That being said, if you’re trying to decide between and LX[S] and GT (not including GT-Line), choose the GT. Though you’re paying a little extra, you get a standard transmission with real gears (the car has more power than you’d think too) rather than the CVT found in the LX[S] (and GT-line). CVT tech has greatly improved within recent years, but they’re still known to be problematic at times. All in all, this generation of Kia seems to be more reliable than most previous gens. Definitely a real deal competitor with the carolla/civic and worth the consideration!

We had a great experience with our salesperson, Marty Swank, at Carmax, White Marsh. He was very professional, knowledgeable and not high pressure. We went in for just an appraisal of our car. He ended up changing our mind from a new car to buying a car from Carmax. We bought a 2016 Subaru Forester. It had everything I wanted and more affordable. It also had very low mileage. We are very satisfied with our purchase.

I have had the S edition for about a year now. I love this car. Got a good trade-in price for my 2016 Sorento EX. I regularly get between 40-45 mpg. Smooth ride. Comfortable drive. Nimble. Responsive. Highly recommend the car, in spite of Consumer Report trashing it. Oct issue criticized 28 mpg. I don't know what model they tested, but it wasn't mine.

Although Tyrone was young he was quite well trained and polite I would also recommend Nick... They were very accommodating in handling my down payment and overall I spent less time in the dealership that I have in previous car buying experiences

I have the SX Prestige model and I love my car. I love just about everything about my car from the numerous tech feature to the huge dashboard. After two years of owning the vehicle, I’m still finding features that I never knew existed. If I had to think of two things that I hated most about this car, they would have to be the lack of power and the gas version and the sunroof controls other than that great car

Everything was simple, didn't feel pressured, and the extras that come with your purchase such as free lifetime oil changes, car washes etc.

I've put 60k miles on my 2023 Sorento Hybrid and it's been solid. Only repair was a defective horn, covered under warranty. Maintenance has been very cheap, less than $1000 total (not including tires) for 60k miles! I average 33 mpg overall. I used this primarily for rideshare and got compliments on a daily basis on how nice the interior was. 10/10 recommend.

Overall a great experience. Friendly staff, no pressure and smooth purchase. I had my car transferred from another CarMax dealer with no problem and they actually transferred two that I was interested in. This was great, as I was torn between the two and was able to test drive both and make a decision. Very happy overall!

Took the family to Vegas for a week. Enterprise have me the choice between the Malibu, Charger and K5. My youngest didn't want the grey Malibu and I didn't want to pay for the gas on the Charger with the V8. So we went with the black K5. I drive a SUV so it took some time to use to bending down to get into he car. Once we started driving I noticed how smooth and quiet the car was. The car accelerated with ease and the braking made you feel safe. My Dodge Journey is 2015 and doesn't have all the new tech. The K5's blindspot and car In front of you leaving warnings are great features. Although the K5 had great features the only negative I had was the infotainment unit. The unit worked just fine, I just didn't like how it was integrated. It looks as it was installed as an afterthought. Looks like it was just inserted like a Lego piece, I would prefer it flush in the dash.

I've had my 2021 kia rio hatchback since October '21. It is a solid reliable subcompact. It performs fine, and has enough power for its size. Wireless connectivity is a plus. Nice sound system. My only disappointment is no telescoping steering wheel (I'm tall) but you adjust, Very happy with this car!

White Marsh CarMax treated me excellent. After being married for 34 years,I had never bought a car on my own. My husband had done all the dealings for all our cars. He passed away 11 months ago. It was certainly a big life issue for me. My salesman Zack was very professional and not pushy at all.My daughter has dealt with Carmax for her cars in the past. She convinced me to try them. I can say I was not let down in any way. I traded my car and bought a 2016 Toyota Rav4. Very low mileage and like new.Drives so smooth. First off I would like to say that I am a huge car enthusiast who has owned many different cars in my 60 plus years. My most recent cars have been a 2017 Honda Pilot, 2022 Honda CRV and 2023 Toyota Highlander. The Pilot was nice but the CVT transmission drove me nuts with the way it jerked and shifted. The 2022 CRV was also nice but the electronics and bluetooth connectivity were SOOO bad!! The FWD Highlander with new turbo engine was a huge disappointment. I felt unsafe on curvy two lane roads.....like it didn't feel like it was gripping the road properly. It also had terrible turbo lag that was highly frustrating and dangerous feeling. When I would push it hard to get it going, it would almost skid out once it got going. The wireless apple CarPlay was its best feature but generally speaking the electronics were a nightmare and required a subscription to work best. You had to push multiple things to get to your radio and it was all so poorly designed. I had been having severe buyer remorse with the Highlander and started looking again. I drove a RAV4 and it was too underpowered and buzzy for my liking. Also drove a new Mazda CX-50 but was having a hard time spending the dollars on another new car since I would be losing on the Highlander trade. Long story short, we purchased a 2019 Kia Sportage EX for my college aged daughter in 2021. It was affordable, had good reviews and a longer warranty than everything else. She has loved it!! Turns out we have not needed the warranty even one time in these past two years. Only simple oil changes and tire rotations. She's away this summer so my husband and I have been driving her car periodically. During these drives, I decided I like her car so much, that I traded my Highlander for a certified pre-owned 2020 Sportage SX Turbo! I am SOOO thrilled with my decision!! The build is heavy and solid, visibility is incredible and driving it is SO much FUN! Feels like you're driving a Mercedes or BMW but at an extremely affordable price. The controls are so simple that I've not consulted the manual more than a couple of times. Everything has its own button and, although the car is loaded to the brim with every option you can imagine, it's all so easy to navigate and use. Kia made a winner here and I hope they continue on this path of using quality materials and easy to navigate electronics. If so I will be a loyal Kia fan forever!!

This vehicle runs and handles beautifully. Easy to maneuver the engine runs smooth and great on fuel .. Find looking as well . if you are looking for a medium SUV this one is just right . I usually have a hard time climbing into the average SUV but as a female I found it to be easy to hop in and out . Great vehicle ..

I just bought a 2020 Ford Transit from Trust Auto in Maryland, thanks to Vlad, it went well despite the fact that I live in Florida. Kevin was very nice, seemed good at his job and well spoken, good guy. Vlad was fast, professional, and made the entire process incredibly smooth and straightforward. I am thrilled with my new 2024 KIA Niro Lx. Even the base model comes with so many features. The MPG states 53/54 city/highway I am actually averaging 10% more! Love that!! It rides beautifully and the aesthetics are great. The Snow White Pearl is stunning and worth the extra $. One drawback is NO retractable cargo cover. The only concealment/privacy option is a "cargo shield" overpriced and flimsy but necessary.

I had never bought a car before and only heard horrible things about how awful the process of car buying can be. However, this was NOT my experience with Ourisman Honda of Laurel!! I was greeted with nothing but professionalism, compassion, and kindness. They truly care about their customers! George was INCREDIBLE every step of the way. He even sent me a video of the vehicle I was interested in before I came in. He made every part of the process easy to understand and made sure I would be able to drive off with the car I wanted. I can’t say enough about George. He was so kind and caring and willing to do whatever it took for me to be able to officially say “I’m a car owner!” He took his time with me and never made me feel rushed. Thank you George!! His manager, Roman was so compassionate and took the time to speak with me about what all of the fees meant and what we could do to get a monthly payment that I was comfortable with. He also gave me some great financial advice for bettering my future that I am truly grateful for. He helped me find the right terms for my loan so that I could be comfortable and confident as I drove off the lot. Thank you Ash!! Every single person I interacted with went above and beyond their job description and made me feel like I mattered. It felt like it wasn’t just my business that mattered but that me as a person with a life outside of that dealership, I mattered to them. My happiness and well-being mattered to them. My future and comfort mattered to them. There was not a single time I felt pressured or discouraged. The car was also immaculately clean, which I very much appreciated. This is my first kia. The fit and trim are solid. The car is sound all around. Great gas mileage between 46 in the very cold winter to 67 mpg. Depending on how you drive it. I.ve been dealing with a dealer in burlington massachusetts where I purchase the vehicle. Im not sure they pay attention to detail as the engine calls for a special motor oil, 0W16, And that was not reflected on the engine oil change receipt. When I approached them with a question about the Motor oil, i was told all the engines are the same, which is not true. Also they recommended a 4wheel alignment which i paid for but had problems down the road. The dealer was very unhappy when they had to Repeat the alignment again, and made sure I knew about it. At this time I am searching for another dealer.

Car is safety oriented. Has a VERY Steep learning curve, but once figured out very nice too drive, Manuals are lacking an interactive pdf, just a plain pdf. There are 4 manuals a lot to read. Car is long and wide so keep that in mind when taking turns. Most features can be customized under systems. I recommend sitting in car with manuals, and try out the features.
