I was very impressed at the condition of the cars in this expansive indoor showroom filled mostly with classic cars. Owner is very knowledgeable about all the cars on his lot but is also transparent on any issues they may have ane what it may take to fix it. I would not hesitate to purchase from here!

I ended up buying a 1990 Mazda Miata with a 1.6 L engine and 5-speed transmission. The couple I bought it from was great and very understanding. I got a killer deal on it and absolutely love driving it everyday, and cars.com made it super easy to get ahold of the seller! Overall a great experience, I loved it! Would 100% recommend anyone get a Miata with or without a 1.8 L engine! The 1.6 is still very peppy!

One of the most fun and overall best cars ever made, in its class. Perhaps the best roadster ever. Classic and legendary. Everything the classic British and Italian roadsters were aiming for, but also including Japanese reliability, efficiency, and great ergonomics. Perhaps best standard transmission feel in history. Bottled youth, mounted on wheels.

Really fun, and very tight, fun at any speed .I like the silver color, make sure there is no water in trunk or top is leak proof, several I drove had evidence of water in trunk,and or top leaked. Don'the be scared of higher mileage, as long as maintenance can be verified.

Here is a review of my start to finish review of buying a car from Gateway Classic Cars, Ft. Lauderdale: ----- 1. The sales people who you work with are not on site. They're working remote so they don't have eyes on the car. ---- So, 2. You'll want to be connected with someone on site who can start and drive the car, provide a walkaround video, pictures of whatever you want and give their input. I worked with Alex at the Ft. Lauderdale location for my purchase and he was outstanding with helping me to know the car before making an offer. He is the reason that this is a 5 star review. -------- 3. Hauling: They'll get you a quote for hauling the vehicle. I chose Nexus Transport myself to use. They were a bit cheaper and top rated by Forbes. That went just fine. --------- 4. These cars are all on consignment. So, I feel that you have to be a little more careful because you have another party who may not have disclosed things to Gate City. Best practice is to get a pre-buy done from someone like Lemon Squad. That being said, I was so comfortable with my deal, took the risk and waived the pre-buy. And in my case, the Prowler is a mint gem and I have no concerns after receiving it. Also, there is a common thought then you buy a car like this, you should budget 10% or so of the price for maintenance right after you get the car because stuff always comes up, otherwise, don't buy a used car. --------5. Since they're on consignment, they have commissions they charge the seller. As a buyer, I don't care even if I see a commissions line on the purchase agreement. As long as my out the door number was what I offered, that's fine. --------6. I wired money to them and within a few hours, I had all the fully executed paperwork back in my hands. Title took about 3 weeks to receive by UPS. No issues. Thank you Barbara! ------ 7. So here is what breeds loyalty. Alex at the Ft. Lauderdale location made sure the car was completely ready to be picked up including accessories that were bubble wrapped. The car was supposed to be picked up at Noon on Saturday, plenty of time before they closed at 5pm. He stayed until the truck arrived...very late....AT 1:30am going into Sunday morning!!!! (Otherwise, it would have sat until Tuesday). I cannot believe he did that for me. I received my car loading video at 2am. That's unbelievable service that deserves more than 5 stars. ------- Summary: I'd have zero issues with buying from Gate City again....they just operate in a different style than what I'm traditionally used to, which is just fine.

As a regular customer at the service department I always ask for the consistently courteous and flawless management of my vehicle requests by Oscar Galatia. Under Oscar’s guidance from his earliest work with Autobarn Mazda of Evanston to date, I never have had to return to him with a complaint that the work had been done poorly, with mistakes made, or required work not having been done at all. Yes, good work by mechanics have made that possible, but only under the tight, intelligent, direction and inspection of Galatia. He also has a pleasing and satisfying way of dealing with all of his customers whom I have observed close up when I have regularly waited with other customers to have their vehicles worked on and returned. Because of Oscar and the work results he has managed and produced, I have frequently recommended Autobarn and it’s excellent service work and Service Advisor management to others who need a place recommended for consistently good prices, management, and charges. I had been looking on cars.com for a car and when this one was listed, the color and condition were what I wanted. Because I live close to the dealer, I went and looked at the car in person. I was allowed to test drive the car by myself so I could evaluate it. Karim Zeidan was extremely friendly and helpful and his showroom is modern, clean and filled with great cars.
