Fun drive. Small trunk. Enjoyable ride always. Mine was broken into twice with a cut through the top. I finally sold it, because the interior window fogging became dangerous.

2001 Mazda MX-5 Miata review
I got my 2001 MX-5 LS a few years ago to use as a daily driver and a fun weekend car and it's served both purposes admirably. It's a 6 speed manual and is so much fun rowing through the gears. It's not the fastest car but that's not the point. The handling is subliminal, it goes where you want it to go without thinking about it. It was fairly cheap to buy, has been quite reliable, and cheap to operate. It's pretty noisy with the top up or down so it's not a good long distance highway car. It does 95% of all the things I could ask of a car - I have a SUV for road trips, camping, snow/offroad, towing, & transporting the dogs. Around town or on twisty mountain roads it put's a smile on my face every time! I think the NB Miata is the best of the bunch because it's so simple and analog like the original NA version but it's a little larger & more powerful with more features than the NA with not much more weight. The NA pop-up headlights are cool but as someone who always drives with my lights on (it's good to be VISIBLE in such a small car) the NB doesn't sacrifice aerodynamics/drag or noise. The body reminds me of a 2/3 scale Jaguar XK. I'd recommend an NB Miata to anyone under 6' tall. I'm 5'9" and it would be too tight if I was much taller.

2010 Mazda MX-5 Miata review
After riding motorcycles for 56 years, at 66, I bought a 2010 Miata MX5 GT with soft top and 6 speed auto/manual. Weighing 175 lbs. puts the car with equal weight on all 4 wheels. This is the most fun car I’ve owned. My grandson will get it when I kick the bucket. I’ll be hanging on to it as long as I can.

2007 Mazda MX-5 Miata review
So I owned my 2007 Miata for one year and two months until someone hit it when it was parked, and it got totaled. I bought it for $7000 and it had 213000 miles on it. The first year I spent around $1500 on repairs, maybe this number is so high because I wanted to take care of it well and others don't care to repair something immediately when it needs to be repaired. I also did all repairs with my dad so labor costs were not an issue. I talked to many friends who have cars like mustangs, enclaves and maximas and they pretty much all spent under 1,000 on repairs in the first year (they spent an average of like 400-500). Their cars ranged in years and miles. I assume the high milage on this car made the more frequent repairs needed. Anyway I loved this car gas milage was good and there was a few leaks like the rear brake light needed new gaskets under it. Great car but I feel like I was cheated a bit.

2002 Mazda MX-5 Miata review
I have owned 4 Miata's over the years. My current one is a British Green 2002 LS. I purchased it 3 years ago ad it had 38,000 miles on it and I am the 2nd owner. It has the automatic transmission and factory installed mudguards and rear spoiler. I have only driven it 2,500 miles since purchased but like the other 3 I have owned it is extremely reliable, handles smartly and gas mileage is decent averaging 25mpg. It has always been garaged and has no rust. I plan on keeping it for a long time.

2006 Mazda MX-5 Miata review
I'm still orginal 2006 owner.Great little mousee Everyone loves the orginal color.Color name kept private. Lots of wanna buyers.I don't want to let it go because of issue one problem.. this start of yr.noticed fluid leak from transmission its rear main seal,instead of replacing this part, it's highly possible gonna replace whole rebuilt transmission.Thinking of not replace rmseal because engine and transmission may have to come down and would have to pay twice, We don't think will owe another mazda reason no transmission dip stick and can't check your fluid like we have oil dipstick.You would have to go in pay for fluid fill up n pay for gasket plus labor

2008 Mazda MX-5 Miata review
This is my second Miata (first was a 1990), and I love it so much! Retractable hardtop roof is SO convenient!! Love the manual 6 speed for all the pep, and gas mileage is exceptional. I would consider a new one if the traditional, bright red paint and retractable hard top were both available. Since they're not, I'll stick with what I've got and enjoy it many more years!

Five thousand dollars , but I feel at the application , because the car I was looking Was three thousand something something You told me you do not finance. I am a man Raising my 2 granddaughter. 9 at 10 Also, I'm dealing with cancer and heart problems and need a vehicle. I can afford $78 a month. And according to your website, I qualify, but when I called, they said they will not give me a loan. Because the car was under the amount used to take loans for broke my heart, cause I needed to get back-and-forth to my hospital visits and taking my granddaughters where they need to go friends of mine said. These are very reputable, and I was hoping it was something you could do for me. I'm a little heartbroken that I can't get a card from you, I know my credit score in bed, but when it came down to paying Certain things like my medication, they destroyed my credit rating. I just like to say thank you.\n And then if there was ever anything you could do get me in a vehicle. That is between 3 and 4000 dollars. With a payment of 73 Dollars A month, I appreciate it. Not 43 big Just asking for a little freedom by driving And trying To stay alive for my girls and my family. Thank you for listening. I purchased this car for my 16 year old. It is the perfect first car for a kid. Who wouldn't love a convertible :) Not only does she have convertible, but she also learned to drive a manual transmission. This car is timeless and fun!

Really an amazing car. Mazda just hit the mark for a fun to drive roadster without requiring sacrifice in terms of longevity, reliability or dependability. The handling is balanced and forgiving, while maintaining a reasonably comfortable ride. It has enough power and though it won't win a stoplight drag race it will embarrass much more powerful cars on a twisty road.

2004 Mazda MX-5 Miata review
I bought this car new, and love it more now than the day I drove it off the lot. High Mark's for me on comfort because though it's not 'roomy' it is comfortable. From Michigan we've been to the East Coast, West Coast, down into Tennessee and around Lake Superior (twice) and never had any comfort issues. The only performance issue is that I wish it had a "seventh" gear, an overdrive of sorts, or that sixth had longer legs. 70 mph mean your pushing 3500 rpm which gets old...I can downshift if I need the turbo to kick in! All in all it's a fabulous car: reliable, comfortable, and a thrill to drive anywhere from a backroad twisty to a simple trip up to the grocery! That said, she's not my only MX-5.
