Used Mercedes-Benz GL-Class for sale near Augusta, ME

I recently bought a used car from Avon Auto Brokers in Brockton, MA and had the best experience thanks to Robert Resende! We have owned our 2015 for two years now - got her used from a family member with about 55k miles. The car is comfortable, fast, huge, and gets great mileage for its size and weight - about 21mpg with a mix of city of highway miles and I'm shocked by that. This is the year they put the 3.0 liter twin turbo V6 in the GL450 - not sure what other years they did, but I highly recommend this engine. V6's are often marketed as having V8 power when they really don't, but this one absolutely has V8 power. It even sounds like a V8. You can certainly feel the car's heft on turns in country roads, but it weighs basically 3 tons fully loaded. It feels very safe and is super quiet inside - build quality is superb. It feels like a fast, luxury tank. I love it and I'm going to drive it as long as I possibly can.

My new 2025 Mercedes E Class had sustained a cracked windshield from a rock strike while on the freeway. The crack had grown significantly. I took the vehicle to Mercedes Benz of Boerne and was informed that I was to take a photo immediately after the rock strike before the crack grew larger than 6 inches or the insurance would not cover the replacement windshield. This was complete news to me and my husband. I met with Lynda De lLa Cruz who informed me that I should go and talk to a higher up management individual. I did so and was taken care of in that Mercedes honored the replacement of the windshield. I left a very happy customer as once again, Mercedes Benz of Boerne and Lynda De La Cruz took great care of me and my auto issues.

This truck looks like a beast but runs and handles like a full size sports car. The air suspension works great when its packed with all our camping gear. This truck is sharp enough for a black tie event and tough enough to go camping. Very happy with my truck.

Too much longer waiting about 5 hours . My compressor was replaced xxx son as bought the car and then an few weeks later was not working properly.

The GL450 is a roomy vehicle with a usable 3rd row that quickly folds away flush into the floor for spacious cargo room. The car is stable on smooth roads and comfortable, potholes, man-hole covers and other obstacles in the road can cause the suspension to jump around a little more than expected...the rear will jump over a few inches one way or another, but overall it drives well. Acceleration isn't what it used to be with the larger twin turbo V-8, but it's still very respectable. The biggest advantage and worth the trade-off is the much improved fuel economy. Front seating is sufficient, not spectacular though...I've take a few 700 plus mile trips and I'm happy with the comfort level, just wish the front seat bases could tilt a little higher in the front. Gauges and instruments and radio are easy to use and fall within reach...the temperature controls could be a little more modern for a 2016 instead of the rotary dial...but they work. NOT a fan of the transmission shifting on the column...it frees up the center console, but it's easy to confuse early on with blinkers, wipers, etc. The seats are heated but at this price, they should also be ventilated/cooled. I haven't had it long enough for reliability, but from what I've read it's decent. Towing capacity is 7500#...I have not tried that yet, but would think that's a little more than an SUV this size should be towing...my intentions will be much smaller adventure trailers and possibly a boat, but no large car haulers even though they may fall within or under 7500#. I'm looking forward to this car as it's my first Mercedes, a departure from our Audi and BMW stable of cars we own and have owned in the past.

Good service, they went beyond on servicing my truck. I mentioned that my truck was locking up on me after I unlocked it but didn?t want to want for hours for them to look at. After they completed my oil change the service rep looked into why it was doing that and found there was a timer that was on. He took that off and showed me where to find it.

We recently bought a GL 450. It is packed with so many features I didn’t even know existed. I love driving now. Even my kids who do not like to sit very long love going for rides in the car. It is so spacious. I also feel so safe driving it which is a huge plus for me considering my last car was totaled from a drunk driver hitting me (hence why we got a new car). I would not recommend this vehicle to someone who doesn’t need a big car because it is huge! I love all the space though.

Traded up from a 2012 Mercedes ML350 4Matic to a 2016 GL550 4Matic. Twin turbo V8 delivers smooth and quick AMG power across the powerband, snappy passing; excellent long distance highway driver and amazing performance in snow. Cabin space is full of supple leather with subtle wood accents and tasteful accent lighting. Controls are sensible and in keeping with most Mercedes models, steering is precise and responsive. Compared to my present and past G500s the GL is a welcome change to a sport SUV cruiser with improved torque and towing power. Still under warranty and performing flawlessly.

The 2015 GL550 turbo is off the rails. Push the sport mode button and some kind of witchcraft happens. It is a fast, comfortable brute that puts many 2023 SUVs to shame. Highway, no problem, B roads, no problem, snow, no problem, heavy rain, no problem. It does it all. Mine was 110K new. I picked mine up used for 40 with 35K on the clock. I use mine like an SUV. We hunt, fish, and put the dogs in the back. It does it all. Do not take your Merc to the dealer. Some folks specialize in Merc and will do your routine maintenance for thousands less. Yes, thousands less. Some of which you can do yourself. I'm on a Mercedes forum. Folks help you with countless features. The Germans know what they are doing.

Owned a newer 2014 S-Class, but we could never get two golf bags in the trunk. It was a beautiful and lots of technology but needed more cargo volume. Bought a 2015 GL450 pre-owned from the local Mercedes dealership. The newer GLS is more expensive and feels less solidly built and tons of electronics that can go wrong. Overall, I am happy with the comfort and utility of this SUV. We took it on a couple road trips in its first year. I have distronic plus radar cruise control and didn't know that it also helps automatically stop to avoid a collision. Some crazy driver stopped in the middle of a highway trying to get into a left lane and I would have rear ended them if I didn't have the radar with the active brake assist. The comand navigation screen is smaller than on the newer ones and the night time backup view is too dark. I've had some glitchy performance with the Comand system, but it's a 7 year old SUV, but it's somewhat to be expected. Overall, great SUV to live with for at least the next 5-10 years before everything goes electric.

This car met all my needs. Most reliable car. It is solidly built, quiet, and smooth. The ride is like a Rangerover and it handles almost like a sedan. It's just the right size, has very comfortable seats.

I bought a 2014 GL550 based on cargo room, comfort, performance and reliability. This vehicle is quick and has room for seven adults. Easy to get in and out and not too big to park. Powerful twin turbo V8 gets up and goes and has every luxury possible.
