I got my used 2006 Mercury Premier Mountaineer V8 that had 262,410 miles on it, I'm at 336,710 now, years later, bought her I 2020, I'm in 2025 now, she's still going as strong as any mustang it feels, with minor repair needed in the near future, like a fuel pressure sensor and new struts. Amazing vehicle! I've gone places only jeeps would go, pulled double axles trailers, even drove for 20 hours to the Pacific Northwest, definitely a vehicle I would recommend, if you want something reliable for years to come!

Trustworthy, built like a tank. Fantastic winter vehicle with a million features. Great visibility and very comfortable. Ford 5.0 V-8 is bulletproof, and the fulltime AWD is fully automatic and a great safety feature.

Great vehicle and good value. I bought this vehicle 7 years ago with 15,000 miles on the odometer. It was like new inside and out. I have only had a couple of mechanical issues with the vehicle: First off, If it doesn't shift and downshift correctly, take it to the dealer, as there is a TSB out on this issue. Secondly, make sure to change the coolant every few years. Coolant only lasts so long, so at least every 5 years have it changed. On my Mountaineer the coolant aged and clogged up the radiator, resulting in a very expensive repair. Otherwise the vehicle is great and still looks relatively new despite being 18 years old. Overall very good value for what I paid for the vehicle.

Very impressed with the ride and feel of this SUV. I had a 2002 Explorer which I loved and this Mountaineer is even better.

The funny thing is that it has more features than I thought! Too funny, I know. It checks various systems like charging, brakes and lighting as well as "fuel range"; something I need because I always run out of gas when I'm not careful.

This vehicle was originally rated at 15 mpg in the city and 19 mpg on the highway. I get 16 mpg in the city and 22 to 23 mpg on the highway in the summer and 20 to 21 in the winter. I have 243,000 miles on this vehicle. Drawback at this time is probable short in the wiring in which the drivers power seat will sometimes go back unexpectedly. Also excessive rust below door entry points. Tows very well(22’ camper)

This is my 2nd great experience at Roseville Auto Sales. My first great experience was about 3 years ago. Todd also helped me last time, and I'd been in communication with Matt via email. However, I had just purchased a nice 2000 Ford Focus from there that had been on their lot for awhile, but I did the research beforehand so knew the history of the car etc, so knew what I was getting into. They're always laid back there, and you ask for keys for whatever car(s) you want to test drive, and you can take your time inspecting under hood, starting them, then test driving them. Once you make up your mind on a purchase, all the paperwork takes less than 30 minutes and you're out the door. Thank you Todd and Matt for a very pleasant experience, I'll be back again in a couple years. They did mention they've been open 29 years roughly and have sold over 29,000 cars, which I believe, they stay pretty busy and overall have a very good selection of cars, a lot have high miles but some have moderate miles and are very reasonable. I am 6'1 and while I am not a big guy I feel cramped In most cars . The mariner gives me the most space I have ever had in the driver seat. I still feel relaxed after a long drive. It has a stylish look and the hybrid is great on gas and still provides space and convenience for family.

Due to a catastrophic engine failure on the mid-sized 4DR Sedan/hatchback I was driving, I made a crisi$ purchase of a 2008 Mariner in Jan 2019. The price was low, as it would soon need all new tires, new front brake pads & rotors, as well as both front steering control arms w/ball joints replaced, and, an alignment, of course, AND it had 239,ooo miles on that CD4E transmission. But inside was clean, and I was on a limited budget, and this car left me with some cash in hand for parts, and it would carry the stuff I need for work. So, I spent a weekend rolling around on the garage floor, replacing all the hard parts, got some good rubber on it, and paid for an alignment to get it driving straight: 25 months/25,ooo miles later, that V-6 is still going pretty strong, starts well in subzero (F) cold, and the transmission is still hanging in there, too! Runs pretty quiet: have to watch my speed! Just wish the upper display worked: if I bump the radio channel button, it takes a while to get back to my station!

I’ve had my 2008 Mercury Mariner VOGA Edition for 5 years and it still runs fantastic! It has 167,000 miles on it and is the best-looking vehicle I’ve ever owned. I love it so much that I had the opportunity to trade it in for something newer but I just can’t part with it. Great small SUV and great gas mileage.

Smooth ride and comfortable interior with plenty of head room. Not bad performance for a four cylinder and I am getting close to 30 mpg on the highway.

I purchased my 2008 Marina new off the lot in 2008. It currently has 256,223 miles without any need of major repairs. I had to change the ignition switch a year ago and just now began to have transmission issues. I love this vehicle and it has given me great service.

I bought my 03 Mountaineer used in July. I didnt know ANYTHING about these SUV in fact I was unaware of their existence before I found this one. I paid $1,300, it had 108,000 miles on it. Ive owned it 6 months now and yes I have put some work into it but it's a 20 yr old vehicle and so far everything ive done I would've expected a vehicle with that many years to have going on, they just happened to me right away. But you can get the parts for these cheap. I have the 4.0 V6 and I love this car! It has so much power, it is fast as xxxx for a big heavy SUV. It flies down the highway and even handles curves like a sports car. I have to be careful because it takes off right now and I can be doing 90mph without even trying and be at 80mph coming onto the highway. It tows like a champ no problems. As long as I turn the overdrive off when in town and on when I'm on highway it gets great gas milage, I love the big moon/sun roof, the pedals move to me, leather heated seats. I like that I can either open just the back window or the whole hatch depending what im doing. The negative, typical ford rusted out rocker panels, I just filled my tank today and when leaving the station I noticed my fuel gage isnt working, could be the floater is stuck but it only has 110,000 on it now. Because in the 6 months I have owned it it has been in my shop getting the tlc in deserves and im feeling confident that this Mountaineer is gonna be one that goes the distance and some. I hope so. It is a real pleasure to drive.

Great design, driving and comfort inside. Perfect for personal use or families. AWD feature a must and excellent driving in winter weather conditions. Would recommend for anyone looking for a quality, reasonable priced SUV.
