I just love my grand prix, with one exception, the door handles. They are cool being on the side of the window/door, but we have one broken one on the drivers side and the one on the passenger side is starting to give me grief, and am having a heck of a time trying to find replacements.

I traded in 2 Saturns for a black 2008 Grand Prix GXP with 62,300 miles. I've gone though it with new coils, wires, plugs, wipers, filters, some fluids changed and a new set of tires. Even replaced the headlight lenses and tail lights with new custom modern LEDs. Also added a performance chip and a Turbomag kit. I have a few other repairs I still have to do (like A/C, it works but leaks), but I love this car already and I am just getting started. Not good for full burn outs, though it has the power. Instead, you just launch! Your head hits the head rest and it feels like your eye xxxxx are bouncing off the back of your skull. I love it. Stock with the LS4 5.3L they are 303 hp, I think I'm getting around 380 something out of it. It's my baby, even though I am more of a classic car fan. They can bury me in it when I die. :o)

We walked in looking for a daily. The salesman was not pushy like others. He took the time to hear what we were looking for. He let us test drive the cars that caught our eye. Have had it since it came off the line in 2007. Use it for personal travel. Did some "road" trips to AZ and So & No Cal, broke more than a few speed limits! It gets looks everywhere. Love, Love, Love my GXP. Am having 3 fluid leaks fixed this week. Expensive, but I plan to keep it. It looks like new still.

bought used with 128xxx. 6 years later still wouldn't sell. I have yet to get into a situation that I wasn't able to maneuver it out of easily. taken it through spots that trucks couldn't (driver experience and ability). for the last year it has served as one of the best work trucks I've ever been around. I know on more than a few times that it was definitely overloaded I'm talking about the rear fender being about 1/2 Inch from the tire, and she hasn't disappointed me yet or let me down. only reason why I didn't give 5 stars all the way across the board, is that horrible evil things called governors at 108mph. it's now over 21 years old and 180xxxish miles. only thing I have upgraded is the air intake and filter. (BEFORE) if you floor in from a dead stop it would shift into 2ND gear at 45MPH (AFTER) 50MPH. (BEFORE) from 2nd to 3rd a 90MPH, (AFTER) AROUND 100MPH

This car is great, its comfortable, fast, and the V8 Can get up and go. However, compared to more modern cars, the Poniac 2006 GXP V8 shows its age, My car cant accelerate as quickly as more modern cars. But its still a solid car. The most major issue with the GXP is the tires and suspension. This car is apparantly designed to drive on Perfectly Smooth roads. Which is great if you live in a Gated Community somehwere houses are $500,000 each and everybody is perfectly blonde. However, I prefer more 'All-Terrain' vehicles compared to 'high-preformance but extremely delicate.' I'll compare the 2 cars I've owned: Jeep 1996 Grand Cherokoo Laredo Extremely Tough, can go anywhere, I can drive over curbs easily. Poniac 2006 Is more like Princess and the Pea. If I hit a Gravel Rock, the whole car will feel it. The Jeep, can go anywhere on Earth basically. The Poniac, Hit a Curb? Need a New Rim, the whole cars missaligned and tires need rebalanced, and now the Tires going flat. Hit a pothole in the Jeep, no problem, keep driving. In the Poniac, Now everything needs re-alligned, rim is damaged, etc. Just as an example. ^ The Poniac is reliable, its just extremely sensitive and needs perfect roads. The Jeep is all-terrain, durable, and strong. I'd drive my Jeep anyday if I could. Considered I got my Jeep for $5k, then put $5k in upgrades/repairs, Id get it again anyday. The Poniac was $32k new, and is just extremely sensative.

This car is fun to drive. It's fast with a good V8 sound. It has very good street manners. Good ride in the rough but will hug a corner like a vette.

I called on Saturday, told edgar to send pa to my banker. approved on Monday, called back talked to Ed, told him I would be down Friday to purchase, was told they could not hold vehicle unless I put down deposit. I bought this car for my son's 18 birthday. The car was in great condition both inside and outside. The car had over 150k on it and after taking it to Sears to get a checked out the only thing it needed was a water pump and light tuneup. He was absolutely thrilled. He loves everything about it especially the fact that it is a coupe. I am extremely happy with this car.

I bought a pickup 6 years ago. It still runs good. I decided to buy a car for my son and recommended him to get one from them. Very honest and will let you know all the work they did to it. If I could give them a higher rating I would. We’re not pushy to sell like most dealers are. Made my experience even better than the last. These Pontiacs with the 3.8 engine are solid as a rock and make a good used car Buy. I owned the Pontiac GT it's simply was a great trouble free car. And all of these Pontiacs are fun to drive.

Chose Grand Prix because of low mileage and killer ride. Stops, turns, handles snow and ice wonderfully. I hope it stays as great as it is now.

It's a sufficent vehicle for all riders I have put mine on the waiting list for fixing but it was nothing majorly drawn but I love my car.

I inherited this car in 2013 with 115,000 miles on it. It has been in my life since it was brand new. I know it never once had a major repair. And still, seven years later, it is insanely mechanically reliable. We had a polar vortex where it was -20 degrees (-50 windchill) two years ago friends with newer cars had trouble getting them to start. This baby had no issue at all. I wish they still made Pontiacs. But my next car will definitely be in the GM family (Chevy, Cadillac, Buick) because this vehicle has wildly exceeded expectations. 18 years and still, not one major mechanical failure. And the paint is still so shiny, it looks new.

I purchased my 2004 Pontiac Grand Prix in July 2008. At the time of the purchase it has 55,000 miles and today I have 346,000. The original motor and transmission is still in the car. I haven’t experienced any major mechanical issues.

It was a good experience I bought a Cadillac CTS wagon. Most of my contract was done over the phone since I lived almost 4 hrs away.

I think Pontiac could've continued making money with this model for some time. Mine is nicely equipped with: 16" alloy wheels, ABS, Traction control, cruise control, all power options including the driver seat and mirrors. It has a good sounds system with controls on the steering wheel and leather wrapped steering wheel. This car is very competent and reliable. I've owned it for nearly a year, nearly 27k miles and needs were merely oil changes, tire rotation and gas. Oh, and the annual safety inspection which it passed without repairs needed. We just crossed the 170k Mike mark over the weekend, and she's running strong!

This car is super clean, runs and drives amazing. It’s super driver focused, very little body roll, everything inside is facing the driver and feels more like a sports car than you would think. Very comfortable and fun to drive.

We stopped the Corwin Lot a few weeks ago looking for an AWD vehicle with some extra space. Jared showed us a nicely finished Traverse with low miles. We were on our way home 170 miles away and told Jared we'd think about it for awhile. Jared kept in contact w/o any pressure just to see if we had any questions or if we were interested in something different. After some clarification we agreed on a price and that we'd pick it up on the day before Thanksgiving. We bought it "as is" w/o warranty. Later that evening, when the instrument cluster is well lit, we noticed a check engine light was on and then later the Auto-Start failed to work. I stopped by Fri morning to see Jared, and he took it for a drive and just told me to sit back and have some coffee while he looked into it. Despite being a very busy post-holiday Friday he got it right into the shop w/o an appt and they dug into the issue and repaired it right away and covered the whole cost of labor and parts. I got my 2003 Grand Prix for my 16th birthday with under 100,000 miles and now I'm 18. Being a high school kid I put many hard miles on it. It has very few problems in its old age. Much of the bottom is rusted out but the frame is as solid as ever. My car tends to heat up faster than many others I have saw. In my opinion I don't believe this is a good cross country car. I'm sure it was great for cross country when new but as any car's they get old and become risky for this kind of stuff. I believe I can get this car through college and maybe then some. Also being the country boy I am this care can off road if you do it right. I'v had it covered completely in mud before!
