I have owned Porsches continually over a 30 year period - 2 of them 930's. The early 80's Euro spec Turbos (I owned a 1981) were VERY tricky to drive, and the turbo came on with brutal suddeness. The later 87 - 89 Turbos are much more refined in terms of turbo boost, and engine management, yet JUST as much fun to drive. People suggest that the 89 is the best year because it had the G50 (5 speed ) transmission. I wholeheartedly disagree with this, the 1988 with Porsches' square cut geared, 4 speed, is the pure RACING transmission designed by Porsche to handle 550 HP. It is extremely robust, and basically bullet-proof unless they are abused... The 3.3 litre Turbo has TREMENDOUS torque especially for such a light car, so the extra gearing of the G50 is not necessary. As for the G50: its' only benefit was the first gear syncro whose ratio is way too low - making it almost silly to use. It is not nearly as strong as the 4 speed, which by the way, Porsche continued to use in their racing EVEN after the introduction of the G50 - that tells the whole story I think. The turbos - if you get one that has been taken care of, will provide you with years of reliable driving. All 3 of my former Porsche 911/930's I sold for more than I purchased them for. There are VERY few cars that, like a good 911/930 do more than just hold their value - especially if you can acquire a well taken care of rare model.

Owned a corvette, a viper, the 911 and the boxster. I’d say the boxster s was a bit more fun to drive, and like both porsches equally for different reasons. Test drove BMWs on multiple occasions, never liked any of them. Test drove a couple of ferraris, a bit too small and expensive. Same for the NSX. Bought it 2 years old and got a great price. The targa 4s that I currently have, has some nice 911 features, including the large retractable roof, and the pop up rear window, for easy access to the back seat.

What can I say, the benchmark of sports cars. I have a 4S Cabrio. I chose the 4 as I like all-wheel-drive, even in Florida. Better grip. The S also has more horsepower. Build quality and fit and finish our superb. The ultimate sports car without all the problems of the Italian cars. You’d be hard to find a car with better handling and Performance. The look is timeless. There’s no mistake at what you’re looking at when you see a Porsche. Great car.

We found an amazing R8 online at FPC and were a little hesitant to buy from a smaller operation. I spend about $1000-$2000 each year on maintenance. One may consider that high, but I purchased a 911 C4S car for $35,000; the MSRP was $93,000 in 2004. The vehicle has appreciated since 2019, and now, with such a detailed service history over the years, it could sell for $40,000. So you either pay in depreciation or maintenance, and though I may be a stickler for maintenance, it keeps the value stable. I could have gotten a new Camry for $35,000, but it would be worth about $15,000 now and less fun. Next car I will jump up to a 2012 to 2015 Porsche. You can't go wrong if you get the right model, rare options, and even rare colors. Number one is having complete maintenance records; don't buy one without them.

First, this dealership has a beautiful showroom and service area. Purchasing my car from Randy was a pleasure and seamless experience. Second, I have now had two services performed and my service advisor Luis is areal professional; they take my car in on time and it is ready on time and they explain all that will be done. The best is when you pickup the car the work has been done to perfection and the car has been washed/detailed when you get it. I have had nothing but great experiences at this dealeship; if you want to have the same bring your car in.

This is my 3rd Porsche and this time I chose the 911 T. I wanted a xxxxx to the wall driving experience in the Smokie Mountains near my home. The T does not disappoint. It performs flawlessly. It hugs the corners -I can easily take 25 mph at 50 mph or more in perfect control. The engine/weight ratio gives more power than can ever be realistically used even if you have a long stretch that is police free. Overall it is a thrill to drive, the cabin is comfortable without being fussy and it growls like a caged tiger with the sport exhaust.

I dropped loaner off and walked to my car that was washed, and gas tank was filled. Krystal, Rachel are the best team. Porsche is lucky to have quality people on their staff.

Experience started off a little rough when I initially reached out for a car I was interested in. No flexibility on the price so I waited it out until the priced dropped incrementally from not being sold. After 911 turbos, and then having Cayman S's, I knew I wanted a 911 NA. A GT3 version seemed to fit the bill, but I could not find any to test drive. I bought a 2018 sight unseen and when it was delivered to my house, and drove it, is when I realized: you don't know until you know. There's a reason why Chris Harris can have any car he wants, and test drives all cars, and chooses a GT3 for himself. It is quick, not as fast as a turbo, but it screams like a banshee when getting up to 9k rpms. The experience is what sells this car. It is endearing and I will not let it go. No car ADD when it comes to the GT3. After years of ownership, it has not had a single issue. Definitely recommend.
