Used Porsche 911 convertibles for sale near Newark, NJ

I spend about $1000-$2000 each year on maintenance. One may consider that high, but I purchased a 911 C4S car for $35,000; the MSRP was $93,000 in 2004. The vehicle has appreciated since 2019, and now, with such a detailed service history over the years, it could sell for $40,000. So you either pay in depreciation or maintenance, and though I may be a stickler for maintenance, it keeps the value stable. I could have gotten a new Camry for $35,000, but it would be worth about $15,000 now and less fun. Next car I will jump up to a 2012 to 2015 Porsche. You can't go wrong if you get the right model, rare options, and even rare colors. Number one is having complete maintenance records; don't buy one without them.

I purchased a 2019 VW Golf AllTrack (6-speed) with only 16k miles on it, about a year ago (Oct 2023). The entire staff was super helpful. The staff handled all the financing and DMV paperwork with no issues. I've put about 20k miles on the car in the past year and had no issues. Highly recommend.

Owner of Porsche's since my first purchase new in 1970. 12 registered to me and another 20 or so I bought, drove on dealer plate when I was in used car business.M y 2006 997.1 Carrera 4 Cab with 30k on the odometer is one of the most dialed in cars I have driven. PASM along with the AWD helps keep this one glued to the road. The 4 is Wider than a 2 the S is not necessary. All season road runner. Top down warm weather, AWD for the rest. 😎

After owning ~20 cars, I find the 2009 911 Turbo to be the perfect understated example of class and performance. Great handling, ride quality and just raw power.

My service coordinator Dan, did a very good job keeping me informed about progress of my service visit. I’m still having problems with my car, but Dan is not the problem.

When you buy a Porsche 911 you buy it because of its performance. My car now has 96,000 mile are runs and drives as it should. I do several DE track days every year. It has never let me down. It is amazing to drive, steers like it is on rails, stops on a dime, and goes as fast as I need it to go. What a great car!!

Resolved my issue with my 97 Boxster. xxxxxxto my tech (C Villa), he resolved not only the issue I described but but also tightened up some additional bolts that I didn't realize were loose. I just assumed the car was old. Made a huge difference to the drive of the car. I appreciate the extra attention taken to my car. It was a great example of a tech seeing something and doing something about it even though it was not expressed by the customer. Also gives me reason to bring my car to Porsche because ultimately they do know the car best.

I never take the time out to write a review but this just has to be said! I have been buying exotic cars for quite some time and can honestly say that my experience at Wide World Ferrari was surreal! I had bought a California from another Ferrari dealer (first mistake) and it wasnt for me. I saw a Ferrari 458 listed on thier website and contacted them. What can I say, the benchmark of sports cars. I have a 4S Cabrio. I chose the 4 as I like all-wheel-drive, even in Florida. Better grip. The S also has more horsepower. Build quality and fit and finish our superb. The ultimate sports car without all the problems of the Italian cars. You’d be hard to find a car with better handling and Performance. The look is timeless. There’s no mistake at what you’re looking at when you see a Porsche. Great car.

This car is a rocket on 4 wheels. The PDK transmission shifts very quickly with no lag or delay in torque. In fact the torque seems to increase in addition to achieving great gas mileage. That's a formidable task compared to other performance cars. The car does sit low to the ground so if you have bad knees or hips then it might not be a good fit for you.

Had a great experience at Porsche of Englewood, NJ for my car’s first service. I think the 964 has gotten a bum rap. I have owned a 1992 Model 964 for 7 years. It has been very reliable. It isn't particularly fast by contemporary standards but fast enough for most traffic and road conditions. I was a bit concerned about the dual mass flywheel issue with the 964 but after forking over a few thousand for various deferred maintenance shortly after buying the car it has been very trouble free.

My 2001 Porsche 911 Carrera (996) is an example of German engineering at its finest. The known IMS bearing issue was taken care of, allowing me to have no reservations about driving the car anywhere. Although it's not a turbo model, the car performs like it's made for racing. The Spanish word 'Carrera' translates to 'race'. When you put the car thru its paces you know why it is named such.

I’ve had my 2004 911 c4s for 3 years now and it’s perfect. No major issues or recalls, just have the ims bearing fixed and the car is solid. Drove the car in rain or shine and I didn’t notice any difference. That’s how well this car handles. Always proving the jdm crowd that theres Nothing better than Porsche’s German engineering.

992 C2S. Best performance car I’ve ever drivin. Can’t think of any negatives. People complain about the price but 100,000 for a suv or loaded pickup is ok. Took years to finally acquire this car , happy it finally became a reality.

Best Porsche 911 I've owned over the last twenty years. I miss my air cooled Porsches, but this car is so much better. I would recommend this car to anyone looking for a great 911.

They were amazing from the very beginning, all of them. Never once did I feel pressured or persuaded in any way. They were honest and straightforward with information on the cars. I'm a proud owner of my 2001 911 cabriolet. Its in mint condition and looks like new which is a tribute to the quality of this car. I have done all required maintenance and it runs as good as new. At 58k miles It doesn't feel like it needs a clutch but when it does I will do the IMS as preventative maintenance. I've owned 3 other porsches including a 1967 911s which I loved and should have kept, but hands down this 2001 is a far better engineered car. Its faster, handles better, more luxurious, safer. Its no comparison to previous generations! I'm keeping this one for good! If you can find a well maintained 911 and take care of it you too will feel the love and appreciation for this 911 model. Its definitely one of the best values you'll find. Oh, and I love the 917 style headlights on my 911. I get where were going when they designed this model. Classic!

the 911, and the 992, especially, is the perfect daily driver- beautiful styling, enormous power, and reliability. I'm not sure what the other reviews were complaining about, it looks like they may have bought a 'lemon' this is my 5th 911, and i'm addicted- you can't go wrong my only complaint, is the additional costs for features that should already be included in a $140,000 car!

This is my 3rd Porsche and this time I chose the 911 T. I wanted a xxxxx to the wall driving experience in the Smokie Mountains near my home. The T does not disappoint. It performs flawlessly. It hugs the corners -I can easily take 25 mph at 50 mph or more in perfect control. The engine/weight ratio gives more power than can ever be realistically used even if you have a long stretch that is police free. Overall it is a thrill to drive, the cabin is comfortable without being fussy and it growls like a caged tiger with the sport exhaust.
