I have a 2020 Forester with 19000 miles. I love it, especially as a tall and aging man. It it easy to drive, easy to get in and get out. Miles per gallon is great, typically well over 30 mpg in day to day city driving. I have noticed a number of complaints about batteries. I think in 2019-2020 they had a bad supplier of batteries. My experience was total battery failure at about 10000 miles. I had to purchase a replacement from AAA. Such stories were common during that period. I was irritated but received reimbursement even though it is not typical for a dealer/car company to do so. Smart dealers want to keep your business. The only other expenses were created by potholes knocking the car out of allignment and nails in parking lots puncturing the same tire twice! Sweep your xxxx parking lots retailers and restaurants.

Great value! The ride is so smooth and the Forester holds the road really well on turns and curves. I got the base model and it still had great safety and comfort features. Very happy!

This is a follow up review, I did have to change the head gaskets out on my 2010 forester. I've seen this is common, once again, the work is able to be done by a DIY mechanic. Since 2020 Ive had to change the ignition coil, spark plug wires, head gaskets in February of 2024, and also the crankshaft position sensor. The car had 165,000 miles when the head gaskets needed changed. So far it has 173,000 miles and still runs well. Also changed were the clutch and throwout beairng, and another timing belt change. It still runs very well, the exhaust is getting rusty and have had to fix that, overall its been a good car. I've owned it for 12 years and the ability to work on it yourself is what I really like about it, it isn't fast, but its quite utilitarian and my dog loves it as well. So if you don't mind working on your own stuff its one of the easiest cars to work on with the way the engine is oriented in the longitudinal position. I've always changed the oil every 4-5000 miles since I've had it, the heads and valves were completely clean. I'd say if one keeps up the servicing on these they are good vehicles to own. Not looking forward to when it blows, they don't make plain cars like this now adays.

LOVE this car, maybe a little biased since this is my 5th Forester, my 2nd Wilderness. My first Wilderness was totaled in a head-on collision when a young driver spilled coffee and veered into my lane and struck me head-on. That was my 1st Subaru Forester Wilderness and IT SAVED MY LIFE. Full curtain all-around airbag deployment with a roll, the Wilderness coming to rest on it's right side, me still strapped into seatbelt, and the Subaru automatic crash notification with a live person on the speakers asking me if I was ok and needed 911! Smoke still coming from the airbag deployments, and there is a live person coming over the speakers asking me if I'm ok. It was surreal. SUBARU FORESTER WILDERNESS SAVED MY LIFE! TYVM Subaru! LOVE this car! Gets 25+ MPG with conservative driving, a great ride and suspension, superior traction in mud and snow, load-out practically anything/rack bikes (or whatever on the roof racks), sleep in the back with ample room, superior rear-gate lift mechanism with memory, seats super-comfortable and easily adjustable, solid rear-seat leg-room, easy rear-seat fold-downs for massive cargo area that takes my full HVAC tool load-out for servicing ice baths all over the NorthEast US. A great value, especially CPO with +10K mileage (vs. new) MONEY WELL SPENT! SUBARU FOR LIFE

We recently purchased a red 2022 Tesla Performance Model Y with Schomp from out of state, and couldn’t be happier with car and the result! Our sales rep is Attila, and we have a lot of appreciation for all his help in working with us through the whole process. Terrific guy with extensive experience and integrity. He patiently oversaw the more complex aspects of purchasing from another state,, and it was a please to finally meet him in person when we flew from KC to pick up the vehicle. I would recommend him to anyone and would be happy to work with him again. We were also impressed by the dealership and its beautiful facilities itself. In our search nationwide, we found a number of dealerships that offer great deals on specific advertised cars, only to inform you that the vehicle you selected “just sold”, and then offer a higher priced substitute. I understand this is a somewhat common practice with disreputable dealerships, called “bait and switch”. We had almost become disillusioned in our nationwide search for an excellent deal offered by an honest salesperson at an honest dealership . We finally found both with Attila at Schomp Hyundai.

I've never owned a Subaru before but after purchasing the Forester, I may never own anything but a Subaru again! I love the Eyesight Drivers Assistant that it came equipped with. I can see why this car has one of the best safety ratings out there. The interior is very open, spacious, & comfortable and the panoramic sunroof is amazing! It drives and handles like a dream. I would recommend this car to anyone. You won't be disappointed!

Recently we purchased a Subaru Crosstrek from Flatirons Subaru in Boulder, Colorado. The dealership was very clean, well organized and made a good impression from the moment we entered it. The available salesman at the time we came in was Connor. He was very polite, professional, knowledgeable and mannered. He showed us several vehicles helping us to decide what to buy. If you want to buy a Subaru I definitely recommend Flatirons Subaru and also ask for Connor. You will not be disappointed. Unfortunately we had the displeasure to run into another person who looked very unprofessional. But the experience we had with Connor, convinced me to give 5 stars to this business.

I've had my 2025 Subaru Forester for a little less than a month. Pros: Smooth ride, comfortable seats, good sight lines out the windows, spare tire. Cons: Cost of extras already installed that I didn't want, duplicate control options for some items .

I was between a rock and a hard place after my Honda passed away-it drove itself to its demise due to the handbrake not on tight enough. So I had nothing to trade, no leverage. I know Subarus owned many Outbacks and they go forever. The problem is I'm 5' tall and this car is too big for me after the Honda and a Miata I have. I had 2 big dogs and felt the car would be great for a dog owner. Which it is. One dog rode on the back seat (covered) the other had the back to herself. Great for a dog owner. If you need a crate there's plenty of room. This would be a great vehicle for a children or pet family. I only have one 10 yr old dog left and this uses too much gas for me to consider a practical vehicle.

They did a great job of helping me find the perfect pick up. Levi spent a lot of time helping me. A very good experience. After the sale, I had a small issue with the battery and they swapped it out for a new one, no questions asked. Great dealership!

This is my third Subaru Forrester. I like the newer safety features and ease of handling. The size is perfect for me, not too small or too big! I would recommend if you’re looking for a midsize vehicle.

Likes: spacious interior despite modest exterior dimensions, easy to maneuver, great visibility all around, comfortable ride, good traction, handling, and braking, nice interior finish on sport model, strong steering responsive headlights yet they don't blind opposing traffic, very good optional Harmon sound system, numerous effective safety features, low insurance premiums, adequate acceleration..a few cons: actual economy slightly under EPA estimates, seat may be a bit too firm for some but easy to address by adding a thin seat cushion, mandatory sunroof on all but the base model..I wish Subaru would just make that a single option..rough engine start-stop ..however I disable it each time I start engine so it can be a non issue...no reliability issues yet but since this has a cvt and fairly complex safety features, long term reliability is unknown..

Service was great. Kept me informed during the entire process. Hyundai covered the cost of repairs at 90% Goodwill. Service staff very professional and knowledgeable

My 2020 Forester does everything I ask it to, very effective and efficiently. I've owned over 100 vehicles in my life time and this one is with my top favorites. Good value, safe, economical, reliable, dependable, and over all quality is top notch. I am very pleased with this decision.

I was in need of a new car . The one i had was bought in 2005 but the year of the car is 2001. I wanted something a bit newer and affordable. I didn't catch the guy's name since my dad was the one who dealt with him first. No pressure at all. He was very helpful. I test drove the car and loved how it drove along with it's a big upgrade to what i had. So decided to buy it. I bought a 2012 Infiniti G25x, leather seats, AWD. front seat heaters, sun roof, backup camera, defrost on the side mirrors and it's a V6. I love it. I highly recommend buying a car here.

Mechanically reliable. Decent gas mileage. Headrests block line of vision. Sideview mirrors can be difficult to adjust. The most uncomfortable seats of any automobile I have ever owned. Lots of cabin noise both city and highway driving.

I bought my car from them and have all my service work done there, such as repairs, oil changes etc. The service department is excellent and takes very good care of my car and very courteous folks to deal with.

Other than battery replacement , car has been amazing ! 1 exception cup holders are located too far aft and require driver to look down to locate cup without removing eyes from road ! This issue has been partially addressed in later years by offsetting passengers holder slightly forward of drivers, but still awkward position ! both should be more forward nearer to dash !

I love my forester!! The only complaint is the driving assist sensors don't work with a steering wheel cover (leather), and the adaptive cruise control is too sensitive. Other than those 2 things literally everything else is perfect.

My salesman was Jeremiah, he sold me a RAM 1500 and had the best experience with a salesman yet. Every question i asked was answered and there was no hassle. I contacted him after i bought it and he still is just as helpful. Definitely recommend Mike Shaw and Jeremiah!

I like the solid feel of the car and the sturdy and high ride. Good acceleration. It would be a better SUV if the ground clearance was at least 10” or 12”, with the exhaust pipe properly tucked away!

I’m the 3rd owner of a 2012 Subaru Forester purchased at approx 175,000 miles and it still runs pretty good! It does burn oil up pretty quickly and mine has issues with reading the levels and won’t give me a warning light so i check the dip stick often. Mine did have exhaust issues and had to replace a rested out piping from the cat back, but mufflers were still good. Also the Oxygen sensor was a problem for awhile, which you can only use on brand for it to work properly. Gas mileage is decent for the size of the vehicle and its age. Only wish the front seats went back more bc my taller girlfriend who is 5’11 with long legs struggles to fit and be comfortable in the passenger seat.

Buying my first vehicle from this dealership was an excellent decision, an overall outstanding experience.

I had to make a 5 1/2 hour drive recently and loved how smoothly my car drove, especially using cruise control with “eyesight” so it slowed when I was too close to the car in front of me. I couldn’t even feel it; I watched the speedometer. Love the safety features and extras like seat warmers and large sunroof.

I needed a car for my lengthy visits with my young grandkids and this car is perfect! I felt more comfortable buying a 7 year old Subaru than I would another used car. It’s easy to put the car seats in and there is plenty of room for everyone!

We have had our new Subaru Forester for two months now. We find we love it more every day! The mfg. goes the extra mile in making sure a person is fully satisfied with the auto. I think it is one of the best values on the market. We purchased the Premium trim level and got every accessory we wanted and more. It is a very sharp looking SUV and exceedingly easy to operate all the options. I would say it's one of the best automobiles we ever purchased. It took until age 81 to purchase a foreign made auto, and gladI did!!

If I could rate my experience with 100 stars I would! This dealership does not pay on commission which made the whole experience less stressful and they have a great inventory along with a great staff. My husband and I went to this dealership because they had all the vehicles I was interested in test driving. When we arrived we were greeted by Vanessa. Let me tell you how lucky we were to have her. She is so caring, enthusiastic, took pride in her work and was never pushy. Once we narrowed it down to purchasing a 2021 Ford bronco she was very thorough in explaining everthing as we went through the paperwork and options. I feel like I gained a friend after working with Vanessa. Even after I bought the bronco she continued to text me to make sure everything was alright and even mailed us a thank you card, which I greatly appreciated. Then during our purchase, we were blessed with Tyler who jumped in to help. He knew everything about broncos and sat with us for over an hour pointing out the different features and answering my 5 million questions. He also assisted us in getting the ford pass app set up on our phone. I purchased the 2023 Wilderness trim in August and I chose it because I live in a very snowy and mountainous area. I certainly needed an upgrade from my trusty 2wd, low-clearance hatchback. I can watch the season change with more peace of mind with its high clearance, AWD and features like Starlink and X-mode ready to step in when called upon. I’m a huge fan of the vehicle’s exterior styling and the interior feels luxurious and durable. The cabin is well-insulated from engine and road noise. One drawback is that the sound system lacks depth even with the base turned all the way up (I don’t have the Harmon Kardon stereo option). I’ve never owned a car with a sunroof before and I love letting in extra daylight and looking up at the cliffs and trees during stops so I can’t imagine life without it, now. Even the low beam headlights provide clear-as-day visibility on the darkest nights, but I’d be worried about blinding other drivers so I’d give more follow distance. Many reviewers seem dissatisfied with its acceleration, but it hasn’t felt underpowered to me and I drive a Chevy Suburban for work. It feels like I’m barely touching the accelerator to cruise up steep grades, but I’m a leisurely driver so my expectations differ. :)
