It was a good service. It was completed in a timely manner. I was kept informed on the status of my repair and asked to approve additional witk.

I've never owned a Subaru before but after purchasing the Forester, I may never own anything but a Subaru again! I love the Eyesight Drivers Assistant that it came equipped with. I can see why this car has one of the best safety ratings out there. The interior is very open, spacious, & comfortable and the panoramic sunroof is amazing! It drives and handles like a dream. I would recommend this car to anyone. You won't be disappointed!

From the moment I walked in to the dealership, Jeff made me feel welcome and at ease. Having walked in the Porsche showroom (accidentally), I joked to Jeff that I'd love to be in the market for a Porsche, but that it was beyond my price range (I was looking for a used vehicle under $16,000!). He said it didn't matter to him what I was there to buy and he was delighted to help me. I couldn't be more impressed with his no-hassle, no-pressure, and friendly demeanor. Knowledgeable, affable, and professional from the start, Jeff asked me some questions about my vehicle needs and wants. He showed me a few cars that met my criteria and steered me away from those that didn't. After test-driving a couple of cars, I drove all over greater Portland and did a lot more car shopping at other area dealerships. After spending another two days test driving other cars (and dealerships/sales staff), I went back to Jeff at Morong knowing I was, without a doubt, in the best hands, getting the best customer service. (I wish I hadn't wasted my time at other dealerships, but am grateful to have confirmed my confidence in Morong.) I called Jeff as soon as I walked away from my final test drive at another dealer and asked if the car I wanted was still available. Thankfully it was. He speedily ran it thorough a final service check so that I could have it by COB on a Friday. Jordan was equally impressive when it came time to finalize the deal and documentation. It has been over a month since my purchase and I'm as delighted as the Friday I picked up my new (to me) Kia Sorento. Yep... a Kia from a high-end dealer. The car is in pristine condition, full leather, heated and cooled seats, luxury package. I recommend Morong highly and without reservation. Thanks to the entire dealership, and Jeff in particular. I'll be back when it's time. In the meantime, I recommend you to anyone I know who's in the market for a car.

I have had the car since 10/24/25 and have put 3800 miles on it. It has driven beautiful and made the long miles go by much nicer. Great vision and enough power . Gas mileage low 30’s on the highway . Great cargo capacity. It is a functional SUV very happy.

I am pleased to be able to write this as I recently had an unexpectedly pleasant experience with a service appointment at Berlin City Honda. From the moment I arrived until I drove off the lot, I felt like the most important person in the place. I was given accurate time and cost expectations. The waiting area was very comfortable. The dealership offers a shuttle service with a comfortable vehicle and a capable, friendly driver. I was picked up in 5 minutes after calling for a ride back. The car was fixed well within the time period I was given and the fix was perfect. The inside was cleaner than when it went in the garage and the price was less than expected. From the service writer to the mechanic to the shuttle driver, everyone was A+. Thank you Berlin City Honda!

Likes: spacious interior despite modest exterior dimensions, easy to maneuver, great visibility all around, comfortable ride, good traction, handling, and braking, nice interior finish on sport model, strong steering responsive headlights yet they don't blind opposing traffic, very good optional Harmon sound system, numerous effective safety features, low insurance premiums, adequate acceleration..a few cons: actual economy slightly under EPA estimates, seat may be a bit too firm for some but easy to address by adding a thin seat cushion, mandatory sunroof on all but the base model..I wish Subaru would just make that a single option..rough engine start-stop ..however I disable it each time I start engine so it can be a non issue...no reliability issues yet but since this has a cvt and fairly complex safety features, long term reliability is unknown..

To the owner of Patriot Subaru: I have been referring numerous friends over the years to your outstanding dealership (I know from first hand experience) including a very dear friend who recently purchased his wonderful Impreza there; who is extremely pleased and which I am reviewing below since I went with him to buy it. While we spent more than we wanted to on a new vehicle, we are very pleased with our new Forester. Performance is excellent and the ability to put a walker or wheelchair into the back is easy. I can also put two dog strollers in which is a big plus for me. Auto fold down rear seats are a bonus. Handling is a breeze and our dealership excels others. No complaints...

This car is so comfortable! The driver sits up high, with great sight lines in all directions. The seats are comfortable. The features are very intuitive. My car has automatic door locks so when I walk up to the car with my key fob, put my hand on the door handle the doors unlock. It has automatic headlight dimmer which works great. It has plenty of power for freeway acceleration. All wheel drives makes it great in snow. I’m very happy with this car.

I had to make a 5 1/2 hour drive recently and loved how smoothly my car drove, especially using cruise control with “eyesight” so it slowed when I was too close to the car in front of me. I couldn’t even feel it; I watched the speedometer. Love the safety features and extras like seat warmers and large sunroof.

The process was top-notch as It has always been. I have been buying cars from Wiscasset Ford for 25 years and have never been disappointed with their Sales or Service Departments. You can take my word on it they will give you the best deal you can get New or used I always like to use the example Of the first vehicle I purchased there. This is our second Forester. Our first was a 2011 Premium we bought as a CPO in 2014 and unfortunately went through the headache of excessive oil consumption within months of buying it. Subaru did eventually replace the engine short block on their dime, but only after repeated oil consumption tests and being told by the dealer service department that it was within normal limits. Calling Subaru of America was the only way we got it resolved. I was impressed that they approved the service, and that's the reason we bought another Subaru. We also have a 2018 Outback Premium in our garage--no oil consumption, and no major issues except replacing the radio for failed lighting behind the volume knob and a minor leak in the oil pan (no dripping underneath the car though) at about 42k miles. We like our 2023 Forester Sport overall, and first and foremost we like its excellent safety ratings and features. I will say the ride is much firmer than our Outback which is only a couple hundred pounds heavier. Wish it had a little more storage in the center console and beneath the climate controls. We look forward to many years of driving with the Forester (and our Outback). Based on our experience, I do feel getting a Subaru-backed extended warranty is worth it for peace of mind (we bought them for our first Forester and now our Outback and both eventually paid for themselves). You DON'T have to buy the warranty when you purchase the vehicle. Call different dealers in your state and ask for their price on an extended warranty for your vehicle--we saved hundreds of dollars by doing this. You have until your manufacturer warranty expires to add an extended warranty.

Great value considering the superior safety features, low maintenance and reliability. Rear wheel bearings have been replaced twice and just had the AC compressor and serpentine belt replaced. Albeit expensive repairs, all cars need something after the first 3 years. It's been 8 years and the car still run and drives like new.

Overall great experience from inquiring about a vehicle on line with a follow up phone call to closing the deal.

The Forester is the first SUV I ever owned. It has had a few issues, but the dealership, Kenny Ross in Irwin Pa, has always been top notch in customer service. First issue was the orignal tires went bald after only 10,000 miles. I called Kenny Ross and they said they would contact corporate. Got 4 new tires at no charge. Next issue I did not even know I had. Took it in for an oil change and they tell me I need a new CVT. Didn't know I had a problem. No charge again. Last issue was a radio that kept giving an error message and would not work. Took four visits to isolate the problem, but now have a new radio that brings in more stations. Again for free. Highly recommend the bumper to bumper warranty. Money well spent.

I’ve owned this car for about 18 months. It has I bought it new and it now has about 17,000 miles on it. I love driving it. The safety features are excellent! The performance is good. I’m getting around 32 MPG for all around driving. I have the car maintained at the dealership and haven’t had any mechanical issues. I would definitely recommend this car.

I have a 2020 Forester with 19000 miles. I love it, especially as a tall and aging man. It it easy to drive, easy to get in and get out. Miles per gallon is great, typically well over 30 mpg in day to day city driving. I have noticed a number of complaints about batteries. I think in 2019-2020 they had a bad supplier of batteries. My experience was total battery failure at about 10000 miles. I had to purchase a replacement from AAA. Such stories were common during that period. I was irritated but received reimbursement even though it is not typical for a dealer/car company to do so. Smart dealers want to keep your business. The only other expenses were created by potholes knocking the car out of allignment and nails in parking lots puncturing the same tire twice! Sweep your xxxx parking lots retailers and restaurants.

I am a dad here in Florida and my daughter lives up in Maine. Imagine the helplessness of not being able to help your daughter not only look for a vehicle, but to be there to ensure she is not taken advantage of or not sold a lemon. Well this dealership went over and above helping this Florida dad review a vehicle, price the vehicle and actually purchase a vehicle. My daughter merely took a test drive fell in love with the vehicle and although it's not a new vehicle, the care, customer service and attention was given to me and my situation as if I were purchasing the most expensive vehicle ever. I recently had my car stolen and totaled. I actually work for the dealership and enjoy the work I do with the company. Mr krohn has been helping me out for the past month and a half with a car. It has been difficult but with the patience and time he has given my mom and I, I could not be more grateful for him! He worked with my mom and I till the very end and has been nothing but helpful. I ended up getting a 2019 subaru forester. Lots of room and a perfect vehicle into the middle of my adult life. I hope this car lasts me through the next few years. After working with Reynolds Subaru in Lyme, CT for many years, we moved to Maine and needed to find a new dealership. I didn't think we would find a dealership that would provide the same level of service. We live between Saco and Portsmouth and had planned to visit both dealerships. We went to Patriot Subaru in Saco first and opted not to go to the dealership in Portsmouth. We met Mike Avery, a seasoned salesperson, and connected immediately. Mike believed in educating rather than selling which was what we were preferred. We bought a 2025 Forester with the plan to replace our 2023 Outback with a new vehicle when our lease was up. When we called Mike, he explained that he had retired but had a lot of faith in Jason Thach, a relatively new salesperson, who Mike had helped train before leaving. Jason was knowledgeable, responsive, personable, and patient. The sales process was a very good experience. When we picked up the car, Jason introduced us to Anthony Richards whose job it is to fully explain the features of the car and answer our questions. Anthony (Ant) was thorough and understandable. He truly did a great job. Overall, we definitely recommend Patriot Subaru in Saco, Maine. Ask for Jason Thach if you are in the market for a new car.

The radio and the heat settings leave a lot to be desired. If you’re looking for a heater setting, you won’t find it. Nothing annoys me more than unrequested updates on flood watch/warning. it just can’t be tailored to exactly where you live. But every 6 minutes is a bit of overkill. And our previous Forester had a tray in the middle storage (glove box). Even though we asked our salesman about that, we have heard nothing. Missing the change tray a lot.

Jason Thach was great to work with. We were able to negotiate everything over email beforehand, so that when I stepped in to the dealership all I had to do was test drive my Crosstrek and then hand over a check. Would definitely purchase a vehicle from Patriot again.

I bought my 2025 Subaru Forester the middle of August and two weeks later took it on a 1500 mile road trip. My only complaints are the funky steering (extremely sensitive) and the 11.6" Infotainment screen occasionally freezing. That's not a good thing when driving in traffic. I wished it was AWD versus continuous four wheel drive. Overall, I do like the Forester better than the CR-V I had before.

Jeff was terrific. Highly recommend him. Longer wait for the title that was out of their hands. But we were patient and were able to get it from the bank.

I got the 2025 Subaru Forester Touring. I stayed with Subaru because I loved my 2017 Touring. I'm familiar with the layout. Hybrid was not available, but I heard the battery cuts into the cargo space.

It was an awesome experience buying from Morong Falmouth. It was very laid back, friendly, and accommodating! Vicci Marcu, our salesman, was a great listener, patient and kind at all times. I felt no pressure at any point, and I am most impressed with Vicentiu Marcu’s ability to listen, his work in making the deal happen, and his genuine happiness at our delight at the purchase of our new Mazda CX-30! Thank you, Vicci. You made the purchase enjoyable.

Other than battery replacement , car has been amazing ! 1 exception cup holders are located too far aft and require driver to look down to locate cup without removing eyes from road ! This issue has been partially addressed in later years by offsetting passengers holder slightly forward of drivers, but still awkward position ! both should be more forward nearer to dash !

Next to top rating in Consumer Reports. Lives up to its rating 100%. Only concerns thus far, after three weeks of use. 1) takes time to learn use of various electrical and mechanical controls -- after 20+plus years of VW Jetta ownership, "a lot is different." Just have to be patient learning all the new features. 2) Auto-safety features (staying in lanes, braking distance warning, etc.) are helpful to some less-attentive drivers but annoying to this long-experienced user. Fortunately, they can be turned off and stop the chirping.

Teddy at K&R was amazing saw the car on CarGurus sent him a message the next day he scheduled me for a test drive and by that evening I drove home in my new/used car. Customer service was amazing, great purchase experience and shout out to the whole team a K&R they all amazing. I would recommend buying from them.

I’ve driven the Forester before and have been wanting one for two years. So now that it was time for me to give up my 2010 Legacy with 222,000 miles on it, I chose the Forester. The dealer is very customer friendly and very competitive in their pricing, even though I paid 25K plus for a four year old car…vestiges of the used car pandemic pricing. The car drives beautifully, smooth and quiet. I am very happy with my purchase.

This is my first Subaru and I’m so impressed! Just a great drive! I love the safety and convenience features…but I also just love to drive again!!!

I like the solid feel of the car and the sturdy and high ride. Good acceleration. It would be a better SUV if the ground clearance was at least 10” or 12”, with the exhaust pipe properly tucked away!
