I’ve owned this car for about 18 months. It has I bought it new and it now has about 17,000 miles on it. I love driving it. The safety features are excellent! The performance is good. I’m getting around 32 MPG for all around driving. I have the car maintained at the dealership and haven’t had any mechanical issues. I would definitely recommend this car.

I had to make a 5 1/2 hour drive recently and loved how smoothly my car drove, especially using cruise control with “eyesight” so it slowed when I was too close to the car in front of me. I couldn’t even feel it; I watched the speedometer. Love the safety features and extras like seat warmers and large sunroof.

The Forester is the first SUV I ever owned. It has had a few issues, but the dealership, Kenny Ross in Irwin Pa, has always been top notch in customer service. First issue was the orignal tires went bald after only 10,000 miles. I called Kenny Ross and they said they would contact corporate. Got 4 new tires at no charge. Next issue I did not even know I had. Took it in for an oil change and they tell me I need a new CVT. Didn't know I had a problem. No charge again. Last issue was a radio that kept giving an error message and would not work. Took four visits to isolate the problem, but now have a new radio that brings in more stations. Again for free. Highly recommend the bumper to bumper warranty. Money well spent.

I highly recommend going to Payless Car Sales to purchase your new vehicle. Ask for Quinn Lira, he is amazing and works to find you the best deal with the lowest rates! He is dedicated in ensuring you leave with the vehicle you want, at the payment your looking for. If it's possible, Quinn will make it happen. Great customer service, friendly, fun to talk with and easy going.

Other than battery replacement , car has been amazing ! 1 exception cup holders are located too far aft and require driver to look down to locate cup without removing eyes from road ! This issue has been partially addressed in later years by offsetting passengers holder slightly forward of drivers, but still awkward position ! both should be more forward nearer to dash !

Next to top rating in Consumer Reports. Lives up to its rating 100%. Only concerns thus far, after three weeks of use. 1) takes time to learn use of various electrical and mechanical controls -- after 20+plus years of VW Jetta ownership, "a lot is different." Just have to be patient learning all the new features. 2) Auto-safety features (staying in lanes, braking distance warning, etc.) are helpful to some less-attentive drivers but annoying to this long-experienced user. Fortunately, they can be turned off and stop the chirping.

Great guy and dealership. Small business owner who helps out the little guy. I came from California not knowing what to get he helped me get a deal on a 2014 Ram 1500 quad cab for 15000.

Great value considering the superior safety features, low maintenance and reliability. Rear wheel bearings have been replaced twice and just had the AC compressor and serpentine belt replaced. Albeit expensive repairs, all cars need something after the first 3 years. It's been 8 years and the car still run and drives like new.

The entire sales staff at Kendal Lexus made my RX450H buying experience enjoyable. Austin, my sales rep worked with me to get a price I was happy with. He was extremely knowledgeable of all the cars features and went over them with us in great detail. Look forward to the same kind of professionalism and customer service during my future service visits. I am disappointed with the scheduling of repair service. The soonest I could have a brake noise looked at which was discovered after driving off the lot was 4 weeks. Fortunately the brake issue isn't a safety issue.

I have a 2020 Forester with 19000 miles. I love it, especially as a tall and aging man. It it easy to drive, easy to get in and get out. Miles per gallon is great, typically well over 30 mpg in day to day city driving. I have noticed a number of complaints about batteries. I think in 2019-2020 they had a bad supplier of batteries. My experience was total battery failure at about 10000 miles. I had to purchase a replacement from AAA. Such stories were common during that period. I was irritated but received reimbursement even though it is not typical for a dealer/car company to do so. Smart dealers want to keep your business. The only other expenses were created by potholes knocking the car out of allignment and nails in parking lots puncturing the same tire twice! Sweep your xxxx parking lots retailers and restaurants.

From the moment I contacted the company, everything was easy to understand and there were no hidden fees or agendas. They explained the process and terms clearly and communicated promptly, which made me feel confident that I was getting the best deal for the Subaru.

I recently had my car stolen and totaled. I actually work for the dealership and enjoy the work I do with the company. Mr krohn has been helping me out for the past month and a half with a car. It has been difficult but with the patience and time he has given my mom and I, I could not be more grateful for him! He worked with my mom and I till the very end and has been nothing but helpful. I ended up getting a 2019 subaru forester. Lots of room and a perfect vehicle into the middle of my adult life. I hope this car lasts me through the next few years. I bought my 2009 forester with 200k on the click. She was well locked after but has a few scratches here and there but paint work is still beautiful. Performance is great but she is heavy on fuel. This is expected from an AWD as the engine is pulling all 4 wheels continuously at the same time. No oil leaks, aircon works well. The only major issue I have had was the thermostat falling. I caused my radiator to crack due to pressure building up. I removed it and she is running perfectly. I live at the coast in South africa so our winter temp never drop below 10° and our summer average at 30°. Overall, I'll will be buying another forester with it's great space and power....love it

I’ve driven the Forester before and have been wanting one for two years. So now that it was time for me to give up my 2010 Legacy with 222,000 miles on it, I chose the Forester. The dealer is very customer friendly and very competitive in their pricing, even though I paid 25K plus for a four year old car…vestiges of the used car pandemic pricing. The car drives beautifully, smooth and quiet. I am very happy with my purchase.

Just bought a 2024 Forester premium, and I love it! I especially love the excellent visibility and seating position. Very smooth ride and handling. Very nice looking car, inside and out, and very comfortable with lots of legroom. It’s got heated seats, moonroof, automatic headlights and just about every feature I could imagine wanting. I highly recommend it!

I was looking to buy my husband a vehicle as a surprise. I was thinking of a used truck. My husband was visiting his ailing 95 year old father out of state. We have purchased 4 out of 5 of our vehicles from Kendall of Wasilla. As long as we live in Alaska they will always get our business. We have always had fantastic experience from the service dept. to finance dept. to sales staff.

I had a great experience. I appreciated that they don't work on commission. The vehicle I had been exploring was sold so Albert took time to help me find something that benefited my family but fit in my price range. There was a lot of time spent ensuring I understood the process and the next steps. I liked the open door policy and not pressured into having to buy. I was able to locate vehicle that I have been driving for a few weeks and love. Albert even helped me with gaining insurance. I felt welcomed the whole time and left feeling informed. This is my third Subaru Forrester. I like the newer safety features and ease of handling. The size is perfect for me, not too small or too big! I would recommend if you’re looking for a midsize vehicle.

Overall buying experience was ok, took a little longer than I wanted it to, had to go back and forth on price until we meet in the happy middle. But pretty honest and transpa8and no surprise just straight forward service. Thank you much!
