Purchased new in March 2018 Legacy Limited 2.5. Used as main commuting car until late 2023-now has 89000 miles. Commute 84 miles roundtrip at 80-85 mph, very steady and secure and 29-30mpg. Excellent in heavy rain (never driven in snow) we get in Houston. Will keep 4 more years but Subaru discontinued the Legacy so likely another brand if I want a sedan.

I was planning to buy a luxury brand and test drove the BMW 3 series, the Audi A4, and the Lexus ES300. I then, due to reviews on Consumer Reports, tested the Subaru Legacy in it's top form, the Touring XT with a 260 HP engine, and I was blown away. Almost as quick as the BMW but rode smoother and quieter. Not as smooth and quiet as the Lexus, but more fun to drive. The Audi seemed cramped and the dealer was a disappointment. The Legacy interior was the most attractive in my opinion, has 4 wheel drive, a great sound system, and ended up being my favorite of the 4 cars, regardless of price. When you consider how competitive (or better) the Legacy is compared to the other 3 cars, and that I saved $13,000 on the price, it was a no brainer. It's really sad the Legacy is being discontinue, but all my comments also apply to the Outback Touring XT. The Legacy is a great car at a bargain price.

The 2021 Legacy is improved comfort riding, leg room, the dashboard is digitalized at greater extend. the Charcoal gray color is awesome, looks very elegant. I like the new wheel design and interior changes that add a luxury look that my 2019 did not have.

We were looking to buy my daughter a reliable car she felt safe in but also was not gonna break down. As soon as we pulled in we were nicely greeted and shown several cars in her price range she tested drove a Nissan very clean ran great she loved it we ended up buying it Hampden Trading Co went through the car , detailed it and we picked it up in a few days .They were all very polite and pleasure doing business with. My third Subaru and like the others is attractive and roomy enough to fit 5. I've hauled 8ft boards inside with the doors/trunk closed (only an Outback would hold more). The (now sadly discontinued) 6-cyl engine has about 51000 miles now and is smooth and sounds better than a four. Fuel economy is decent and, on regular gas, averages in the low 20s. It has all the 'nannies' which make driving safer for me. I just love looking at my car which is important to me. This one's a keeper!

Bought the Legacy Touring XT model. Previously owned Lexus and Infinitis, and this is a good or better than those cars. Smooth handling and responsive engine/ride. Dashboard is easier to use than expected. Nice connection to Airplay. Speakers are great. Safety systems are very good. Leather is luxurious. I would never have selected this car if I didn't already own a Forrester, which is also well built. I feel like I bought a luxury car for a 15K discount if not more

I purchased my 2018 Legacy Limited with 2.5 L engine (50th anniversary edition) with heritage blue exterior and black leather interior in May 2018. I’m 75 years old and have been driving since I was 15. I’ve owned many vehicles during my life, both domestic and foreign made. The ‘18 Legacy is the best car I have ever owned. Generally, I don’t care for CVT transmissions but this CVT mated to the 2.5 liter engine is surprisingly quick in city driving. On the highway it accelerates and cruises effortlessly. Surprising for a non turbo, non hybrid 4 cylinder gasoline engine. Approximately 25 mpg around town and 37 Hwy. Fit and finish are excellent on my Legacy both interior and exterior. 4 years later the cabin remains quiet with no squeaks or rattles. The ride is smooth and luxuriously comfortable. It absorbs road imperfections nicely. Seats are comfortable with plenty of legroom front and rear. Plenty of Eyesight safety features but without the annoying auto stop/start and ACTIVE lane keep assist (these 2 features were added after 2018). The infotainment system is not perfect but overall well designed - My one criticism is that the voice recognition feature is mediocre. In summary, a very, very nice well made 4 door sedan.

I drive eighty miles round trip to work. My Legacy is quiet, comfortable and the Eye Sight is great! I’m safe and secure knowing my Subaru has my back. I’d like better mpg but at 32 on average I guess I shouldn’t complain. Love my Subie!

Nice car and great finish. We are pleased with everything, but would like the mileage we are experienced is less than advertised. The interior clock and outside temperature readings are in conveniently located. Other than that the car is A-1. Great value for the money.

We called to make an appt and they had the car cleaned and ready for us to test drive. Rusty suggested where we could get up over fifty mph for that ride too. He handled the registration process to speed it along due to covid closures and we had the car within a week.

Replaced my 10 yr old Legacy as 2025 is the last model year. I loved my 2015 Legacy. Very reliable and no issues at all at 122k. Hoping for the same. The 2025 has some nice improvements. So far, so good!

My parked car was unexpectedly totaled in the middle of the night so I was kind of thrown into the car buying process whether I liked it or not. After doing some research on cars.com I came across Patrick Subaru, who had awesome reviews and a great reputation in my area. As a first time car buyer, who is admittedly easily influenced, I was nervous going to the dealership thinking I might get taken advantage of or pressured into spending more than I wanted to. That was not the case. As soon as I walked in, Jeff paired me up with Michelle and I am so so happy that I was. I had been browsing some used cars looking to just go on a test drive because it was literally my first day shopping. She asked me several questions to really understand what I wanted, what I needed, and what I was comfortable with. She ended up pointing me in a smarter direction, a new Subaru that had everything I wanted and at basically the same price. They even negotiated in some added features. I loved Michelle's no pressure approach. She even gave me her cellphone number so that she could keep me updated and be readily available whenever I had a question. The Legacy is an excellent ride, with all wheel drive for that extra dependability in the winter time. Subaru is synonymous with reliability. I would recommend to anyone.
