This is my fifth new Subaru and my third Outback Touring XT. The improvements are across the board. The new system’s software and infotainment screen are major improvements along with the hvac controls all moved to buttons below the screen. The all digital driver’s screen is configurable and quite attractive and useful. The Outback is extremely quiet, the turbo engine very responsive and overall the vehicle feels more solid/substantial compared to the previous Outbacks.

I've been bringing my Subaru for service here for years. The service is always prompt and I've never encountered any repair or service suggestion that surprised me. The staff is friendly, professional and trustworthy.

We worked with Brittany New when buying our Certified Pre Owned Impreza and it was an easy, stress free experience. Not only is she knowledgeable about her trade but is a very likable person who was always responsive to my questions via email or phone. She made herself available to us, although I'm sure she was juggling many "xxxxx" at any given moment that hardly seemed apparent. She made sure the process was simple for us and that we were getting what we wanted. Highly recommend!

I hadn't even planned on buying a car when i arrived, but working with 2 exceptional people there (Omid Ahmed and John Larson ; I realized it was not only the 'right' car for me, but Michaels was also THE place to buy it. No sales pressure nonsense & I was treated respectfully.

Greeted right away, order written up to customer satisfaction, work done on time, price reasonable, went over service results and pointed out what needs attention. No oil change sticker left on windshield was remedied immediately.all good!

I'd like to echo what Bill Taraday said about working with Brittany New. She's incredible! We came in to test drive the Subaru Forester, and was quickly impressed at her wealth, and depth of knowledge. Once she understood my priorities, she made some additional recommendations, which were spot on. I came back and purchased a used VW with Brittany's help, and never felt pressured. It was genuinely a pleasurable purchasing experience, and would highly recommend working with Brittany. We will be back!

We live in Burien, so this was not the closest Subaru dealership, but we liked it a lot better than the one in Renton. I hate shopping for and buying cars, but I felt that Carter made it as painless as possible. We worked with Bryan Deando, who was wonderful. We ended up with a certified preowned Impreza, which I'm very happy with. Everyone was very friendly, it seemed very low pressure, and Bryan was very well-informed. We would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a Subbie!

My wife and I recently leased our very first Subaru from Carter Subaru - a 2019 Subaru Forester. We were fortunate enough to have Steven Mackie as our salesperson and he was seriously fantastic. Incredibly kind, thoughtful, and a sincere listener as we chatted through what we were looking for in a new vehicle. He gets us :) Mark Arbar, our finance rep, was also a joy to work with and kind as well. Overall, we highly recommend the experience of looking for a new or used car at Carter and couldn't speak more highly of Steven and Mark.

We were looking for a pre-owned Certified Forester. Carter Subaru in Shoreline had the car we had been looking for, for over 3 months. Steve, the salesman was kind, not pushy and very knowledgeable of all the tech on our 19 Forester. The purchasing process was easy. We were in and out in less than an hour. It was worth the 3-hr drive from our home in north central WA to Shoreline. Our (my wife's) Outback has a LOT more miles than our (my) "new" 19 Forester, so when our Outback wears out we will be giving Steve a call to find another Outback for my wife. I know how dealerships usually work, and how salesman are. But I went in knowing what I wanted. Hieu was amazing and I appreciate him making the process smooth and fast. 10/10 experience from him. Just some advice. Go in knowing what you want and figure out what the out the door price is, before you let them know if your financing/buying or have trade ins. This location seems very reasonable. Highly recommend.
