I have driven 57 vehicles (all registered to me), and I am always on the search for The Cinderella Slipper. I think I have found it. I was able to get my '17 STI used for a bargain, and was able to put the savings into some quicker mods. You will need a catback setup, as well as the MAPerformance stage 2 kit ($1700 including Cobb Accessport). I am a backyard mechanic and was able to install these pretty easily myself. After this, you will have tuner's dream daily driver with 380hp+ and over 400tq. (331/347 at the wheels). I challenge anyone to find a car that seats 5 comfortably, has AWD, runs under a 4 second 0-60, can get 24mpg, has every creature comfort you could ask for, in a manual transmission for this price range. I was able to get a rebuilt one and finish all my mods at under $20k and the car doesn't even have 30,000 miles yet. I will likely have this car longer than any other car I've owned, and Its already been 10k miles. Every mile is a smile, truly. My favorite thing about it is the close gearing of the transmission. compared to other muscle cars, you can actually shift through 4 gears driving aggressively to 60. Love it!

To be honest , the fastest and most reliable turbocharged car I've ever driven no joke. If you like fast cars and comfortable ride I'd choose the STI hands down.

All in all this was a very pleasant car buying experience. Tom Dempsey, the owner of the dealership, personally found me the car I was looking for at the price I could afford. Elijah then took over and did an amazing job showing us how to operate all of the electronic features this car has. He was extremely professional and patient and he walked us through everything. This car is perfect for a fun daily driver. Plenty of power while getting decent mileage. Reliability of Subaru is unmatched. AWD is perfect for NY seasons. Also, it is one of the safest cars on the road.

We managed to come to an agreement and purchased the car we wanted. There was not much negotiation, but the car was well priced to begin with. We agreed to pay $500 additional in order to drive the car away and have our mechanic inspect it. We got a week to report any issues and could return the car for a full refund if not satisfied by any necessary repairs. Ultimately the car checked out and the only problem was a piece of windshield trim that flew off on the way home. We negotiated a $200 refund and got the repair done by our mechanic so we didn’t have to drive the car back to the dealer. So far, so good.
