Just bought this car from a private seller with 147K on it. I have never felt true love before I owned a Subaru, and now I know what it feels like! I imagine it's a stronger bond than having a child. Only thing that caught me off guard about this specific model was ... NO CUP HOLDERS! Thought it was funny but no big deal, there is room to install in the back seats! Also this thing punches for a wagon, watch the xxxx out everyone green machine is coming through! Also, going to be honest the seats are about as comfy as my old 2018 Altima and way better than the lame xxx Centra!

Great car, meets our needs. I wish the back was a trunk instead of a visible hatchback. I just prefer stuff in the back to be hidden from outsiders. 27 mpg, good get up and go, starting from a stop. A few repairs needed, but what used car doesn't need a few?

I brought this car November of last year for 450 cash never had a problem had to change some sensors that'sbout it but I'm gonna fIx it up don't plan on buying another car for years I left a 2003 chevy Malibu After the motor went that I will never buy that brand again ever bad experience

I have owned all 5 gens, currently own an 01(SF), 07(SG), and a 20(SK). My favorite is my SG slowly becoming the SF. Since, they are all prone to similar issues. It is a little easier to own the same style of vehicle.

I purchased my 2000 Outback Limited sedan new September 1999 when the 2000 just came out. I still own it and hope I never have to replace it! It has been the best car! With currently 126,000 miles (yes that low as I live in a smallish town) and it’s my commuter. I heard about the engine gasket right after I bought it so I replaced it at 50k miles. It’s only needed age related fixes; fuel pump, catalytic converter, nothing major. Drives excellent in the snow and ice, very peppy through the mountains. All electronics work great (heated seats, wiper heated, side mirrors heated, etc. CD and cassette player still works too! Love my car!!

Just the right size to take you almost anywhere urban or rural. Minimal blind spots and plenty of room for your gear. With the AWD under most circumstances it is hard to get it to loose grip or get stuck .

Unfortunately, my car was totaled and I was able to find a very nice Toyota RAV4, that I’ve always wanted! Matthew was absolutely amazing. When my step-dad passed away I got his old Subaru . It had taken a beating between him and my mom. It was my first car and at $1. It was great. For the number of years on the road this Subaru was a trooper. I traded it in 5 years now and got $1000. For a 21 years old car? That is great! I wish they made sexy looking cars. This car is great. It’s wonderful to have a gas efficient car right now. Also although the car is small on the exterior, the interior is quite large and an efficient use of space. The car is at 122k miles and the engine is still going strong. This is just a solid car. And an amazing car for the price

Giood, basic transportation Easy to drive. Easy to maintain. Inexpensive to relplace tires, brakes, etc. interior held up very well over time. Parts at dealer are exorbitantly priced.

It handles great in winter conditions. AWD is much better than regular 4wd for snow and slippery conditions. We love the heated seats. The design of the cruise control system is unlike any I've ever used before. A bit odd. I wouldn't design the controls that way.

This car is so reliable and in great shape even at 19 years old. Fun to drive and handles the Bay Area hills like a champ. My last Subaru lasted 300K miles, and I fully expect similar longevity from this Outback. There is so much cargo space - I totally see how some people use these cars for extended camper travel!
