I did a Long term test on the Suzuki XL7 it did good not bad for a SUV it .3.6 v6 did good we put 151 532 miles on it andthe Suzuki XL7 did really good in the winter and it did good the summer andi say it did better then the Chevrolet Equinox that did Long term test drive

Bought my 2004 Suzuki XL-7 in 2014 with 91000 kms on it, now it has 169000 kms. Used it most for driving to work a 30 Km trip one way. Truck has been great, all I have done to it is replace shock absorbers on the back, the rest has been regular maintenance. I am looking to replace it but am very leary of buying another vehicle as they all seem to have big dollar problems. For a 16 year old vehicle my Zuk outshines all the trucks I have been looking at, I wish they still made them.

This Suzuku is great for a single person, couple or very small family. The car runs extremely well with regular maintenance and gets great gas mileage. It's easy to maneuver and affordable to take care of. The interior is great for an individual or a couple. Otherwise, adding multiple adults in the back or a carseat makes the car a tight squeeze for anyone.

Yeah, it’s a bit of a meme it being so old, having a grueling time to 60 mph, and having gold rims. It’s about the character though, the amount of “car” you get out of it is unbeatable, it’s such a slow car but flooring it and hearing the tiny v6 roar like a v8 never gets old. This truly is a luxury car it’s many features and quirks make it such a love able car, your happy to see it, it’s happy to see you.

This is the tiniest 4x4 I could find. It goes anywhere! The purchase process was easy. The seller was honest. I wish him well & safe journey!

I bought a 2008 Suzuki Grand Vitara Luxury in December of that year. Since, I've driven it almost every day with no problems at all. Its a shame that Suzuki pulled out of the US market because they really did offer a quality low-cost alternative to the other Japanese car makers. If I was in the market for a used car for a college student or child, I would definitely consider a Suzuki Grand Vitara. Great car for the money and good car overall.

I am pleased to share my recent experience of purchasing a car from Parkway Auto Center, where I received exceptional service from Marcus Anzivino. I sent the check and they shipped it to me in Geneva, NY 1400 miles away! I was not only satisfied with discussions with Frank, but the car arrived and I am thoroughly satisfied. It needed a right front bumper molding and Frank agreed to send one to me. This dealership requires consideration if you want to buy a well serviced car of any make or model. This dealership has a remarkably great reputation an I agree that it is one of the few So Florida used car stores who are honest, service the car BEFORE selling it and takes careful steps to insure good relationships with customers. I may even buy another one from them, and spread the news of his store to my friends up here in the North who may want a "rust free" Southern car! I have owned my 2001 Suzuki Vitara JLX convertible for over 10 years with NO problems. This has probably been the best vehicle I have ever owned. Dollar for dollar I don't think you can find a better valued 4x4. And it is a REAL 4x4 with high and low gearing. Not a car wanna be like the CRV's and Rav4's which are built on civic or corrolla frames. The Zook is built on a truck framed which is boxed and can take some real punishment. I have taken my vehicle off road in the P.A woods and on the east coast beaches of N.Y. with no problems. I have kept up with jeeps and gotten into places the big SUV's would not dare. It doesn't have the ground clearance of the Jeeps or the power, but I have never been stuck and have passed many AWD vehicles in the harsh winter snows of the east coast. It is not the most comfortable vehicle, but it has all the creature comforts I need. If you like luxury, then this is not the car for you, but if you want an honest reliable vehicle, you can't go wrong the the mighty ZOOK.

I purchased my 2011 Grand Vitara 2.5 years ago. with the exception of it smelling like weed when I bought it from a college student and had to do a thorough cleansing of the interior, it has been a great car. The mileage is around 30 mpg with the 2.4 litre 4 banger but it has surprising power. I wish the tranny had another gear between first and second though. I have pulled a 5'x12' utility trailer with it and am impressed. There is room in the back with the rear seats folded forward to transport cargo. It runs smooth and comfortably.

I bought a 2005 xl7 4x4 it’s 20 years old and it’s now got 157.900 miles on it still runs like brand new I have been very picky about maintenance on it always doing best oil best gas services always on time best 4x4 I ever owned and I have owned more than three able to to sleep three big dogs and my self at 5’ 11 in back and fully be stretched out when camping or making long trips I love my Suzuki and It will always be with me no matter what I plan to own it knock on wood for many many more miles and years best suv ever

I traded in a 2006 Kia Sorento for my 2010 Grand Vitara and I'm sure glad I did. The handling far exceeds the Sorento and is much more reliable it even has a bigger engine while getting about the same gas mileage. I have also owned 4 runners in the past and am generally a truck gal.

I bought my 2009 Suzuki XL7 in 2013 used it was a lease turn in with 42k miles on it. It had one minor problem wrong with it which it was my mistake for not checking after I bought it which was the rear wiper motor not working , I reported the problem to the dealership I purchased the vehicle from and they offered to fix it free of charge but due to the fact I bought the vehicle three states away I told them I would pay to get it fix, I was hoping the dealership would reimburse me for the cost but they said no. I drove my vehicle everywhere from Tennessee, Indiana, Pennsylvania, Illinois's, Minnesota, and even North and South Dakota. I financed my vehicle and paid it off three years afterwards. It's the most comfortable vehicle I've owned and rides smooth on the road. I own Suzuki's luxury model so it's loaded with every option possible. I would recommend the vehicle those who have problems probably should have taken the vehicle to their personal mechanic, mine came with me when I drove to purchase the SUV.

I was in need for reliable cheap winter car and this 2005 Suzuki Xl7 did the job, I purchased in 2013 with 73000 miles and now in 2020 it’s time to move on different car.

I really like the "Hill Descent Control" feature. That has been a lifesaver as I had to drive almost 70 miles just one way to work for 4 of the 6 years that I have owned the car. Winter driving can be a challenge at times in PA. The Suzuki Grand Vitara has been comfortable for me and dependable until I got around 135,000 miles and some throttle control sensors went bad under the hood. Great on snow covered & icy roads thanks to 4-wheel drive. The only part I don't like are the headlights. The low beams seem to be only the running lights; the big headlights do not come on in low beam. So unless you run the high beams all the time at night; visibility is not so good. I have had the bulbs replaced numerous times; but this does not correct the problem. Other than that it has been good.

It's a good car but definitely the catalitic converter is a huge problem...if the engine light is on you need to find an other engine computer to replace it which is very difficult to find and after that the car consumes a lot of fuel which is crazy...finally it is a car level Medium...

This vehicle meets all needs, it has good legs room. The seats are very confotable. The power and hadleling is very good. It has a third row seat as well.
