Used Toyota Camry Hybrid for sale near Carol Stream, IL under $50,000

I was looking for a specific car that was at this CarMax. Problem was that I live in Minnesota, not Chicago and would have to traveling a great distance for a car I had not seen other than in pics, potentially risking wasting a great deal of time and money. I had to trust Jonathan, my salesman, to tell me the condition of the car where the pics could not. He was completely honest and the car was exactly what he said it was. Between Jonathan and Adam, the sales manager i was able to close the deal and drive back to home within an hour. I am completely pleased with the car and 100% satisfied with the dealership. Love my new car :) Two feedback issues/concerns: 1. The Air conditioner in the front seats (under the display) is not as good as my past 4 model’s. The air vents are pushed to a smaller exit and that is not as good as prior Toyota designs I have owned (this is my 5th). The air vents are smaller than before with I think the same amount of air, this causes me to have to turn on/off the air more frequently. Just feels like the smaller vent is not a better solution to prior models. 2. The grill design looks amazing but should have been black vs white (my car is white) bugs show up and it’s hard to clean off compared to prior models. Things I love … interior color (red/black), display (much bigger), sun roof (much bigger),heads up display, parking assist (beep beep), the cruse control is so much better (auto adjusts to car in front of you/moves you to next lane with just a blinker/don’t have to hold the wheel tight and that allows you to just barely hold, which makes driving long distance, not as stressful), cooling seats (perfect for living in Flordia).

212,000 miles without a repair! Original batteries. Brakes are still excellent. Only parts replaced have been light bulbs and wiper blades. This car is a commuters dream! 37 mpg year round with enough horse power for most any driving demands. After 14 years I’m still proud to own and drive this car!

Bought this car new in October 2017. Initially had trouble putting fuel in it. I'd be on empty and get about three litres of fuel in it and then it would shut off and burp out some. Read the instructions inside the filler cap. Problem solved. When it was about three years old (about 2020/2021 maybe), I had a steering box problem. The dealer wanted $850 Canadian for the part plus taxes plus labour. Took it to my mechanic. He agreed with the assessment. He took the cover off the steering box and lubed it with a can of lube (was it WD-40??) and never had an issue after that. LAST TIME I'LL TAKE IT TO A DEALER!!!!! Got rear-ended in October 2023. I had 184,000 kilometres on the car. The car was totalled and I did not know it. The trunk opened and closed, the backup camera still worked, and not even a tail light was cracked, but the unibody was compromised. Drove it for another hundred kilometres before it was classed a write-off. Fuel economy for 184,000 kilometres was 4.7 litres per hundred kilometres or 50 MG (American) or 60 MPG Imperial. This was, don't forget, for the life of the car!!! Would I buy it again?? By the bones of my ancestors, ABSOLUTELY!!!!!

I love this sporty mile and the great mileage. The black/white combination and red leather inside is superb. Only things I don't love: very low to the ground car, doesn't easily go over driveways, hits curbs a lot. Also, the tires easily shred if you go over or even brush against a curb. I've had to replace several of them so far. Also, not a good turning radius compared to my previous cars. Need lots of space to turn, as in pulling out of my driveway and getting on the road. I must also mention that there's an airbag recall on the passenger side with NO fix available at this time.

It is a Toyota, so that says a lot about its reliability. Everything works, Toyota makes the driving experience easy for you. The car is very easy to drive, comfortable to drive. A very quiet car to drive. The Hybrid makes passing by the pump a joy, it gets over 30 in the city and the highway over 40 MPG. WeatherTec floor mats have kept the car like new along with the leather seats. Lightly driven, owner works from home. Love the car.

This car is loaded. There is nothing on the lot any better. Full featured. Air condition leather seats. Birdseye view. Would love to have a prime with all these features but I have not seen one yet.

The best car money can buy. It combines the Toyota quality with their expertise on Hybrid designs for many cars. It is slightly underpowered but not bad. The underhood components are great quality. The parts are reasonably prices and easy to find.

Rides like sitting on a cloud, but handles very sporty (lots of acceleration and corners well). Great MPG! First year of ownership (May 31, 2019 to May 31, 2020, 25,000 + miles, 47.5 mpg. In spring/summer/fall, not unusual to get 52+ mpg. Colder weather, mpg drops to 45 +/-.

I bought the 2013 Camry Hybrid LE new. Never had a problem with the car. I owned the first model Camry Hybrid LE before that, and it too was extremely reliable. My 2013 currently has 135 K on it and it is still working perfectly. It still gets 40 miles to the gallon. Not sure how much longer I'll keep it, but a while I'm guessing. I have always done the required maintenance on the car and have taken excellent care of it. I highly recommend the Camry Hybrid, and the more recent models have only gotten better!
