Initially I was apprehensive about getting a Toyota corolla because of the lack of power and handling, but after 12 years of ownership, I must say that the reliability and low cost of ownership more than make up for its lackluster performance which means more money in my pocket, and that's what count with todays economy.

The 1.8 liter Toyota engine is one of the most durable engines in history. The transmission is not that great since it is only 4 speed with no over drive. The gas millage is excellent. Visibility is fine. Rear breaks are weak (new ones have 4 disc brakes). Noise level inside the cabin is very quiet. No back-up camera and no navigation means less distraction. Change the engine oil at 3k or so intervals and it will last you decades. Must upgrade to ceramic brake pads if non installed already. Best thing of all it is not that attractive which means less gold diggers and criminals (thieves) are less interested in stealing it. BTW if you do not know the 2012 Corolla has the least complaints and no recalls which is a major plus. Price is affordable to almost any person.

If you're looking for a fast car... This is not it. It's a comfortable car just for getting around and it's very reliable. It takes very long to accelerate however.

The dealership was very helpful and in finding a decent vehicle that fits my individual need with what I can afford. It is a Christian based location and the employee were all willing to help me. They were patient and aren't the kind of place who try's to get over on anyone. They helped me with coverage and warranty. I'd like to make a shout out to Erick who certainly works there. This has helped my credit improve already and it's only been 3 months which I am so grateful for... They also helped me with affordable monthly payments based of my hourly wages and by weekly pay... Then when you think you'll spend over for vehicle service, you don't. They provide Uber as well if you don't have a ride while your car is taken care of... They will guide you every step of the way and throw every process. They will even help you with being approved 😀!!! I have never worked there and I've never bought a car from a dealership before. I had an excellent experience working with Cory & the dealership who were informative, worked with me to get a great vehicle at under 2% APR for the portion I financed, & were very helpful. After the vehicle was purchased, they remained very helpful. I didn't think that an SUV that wasn't a hybrid or similar could get over 35 MPG on average, but mine has over my first 4000 miles. My personal best for a single trip was over 46 miles per gallon. With adaptive cruise control, automatic emergency braking, lane change avoidance, Android auto, and great safety ratings, I can keep safe while maintaining productive drives. I love my Rogue SV and am so thankful for Cory and the manager as well at Hall Nissan Chesapeake.

Dealership a little slow on responding to a meeting although the personnel were very personable when we met. I just wish they had pointed out that the car did not have adaptive cruise control or heads up display which evidently came with the upgraded version.

Wonderful, courteous service. I rarely carry cash, I use certain credit cards related to business or cash back (from the card) offers. At checkout I was told I had to pay a 3% charge to use my credit cards. Then I had to request they apply credits I already had on file, this is a no brainer.

I'm from Pittsburgh PA. I wanted to buy a Dodge Dakota and did a Google search. There are not many 1999 Dodge Dakota's in my region that are still road worthy or worth the price that people are asking. I saw one come up at Instant Equity Auto on cars. com. Every single person i dealt with was excellent at answering any questions I had. I flew out and was there Black Friday 2024 they helped me with taking back my rental car, and off I went 2100 miles home with a used 1999 Dakota. Was I a little stressed? xxxx yes! But, the truck was cleaner then anything I've seen. And it didn't skip a beat! 80mph or 65mph, she just kept going! I was home by Monday and she is still going strong 💪.
