I traded in my 2016 RAV4 Limited for the Highlander XLE. Primarily for the ride. We had to give up some features such as seat positioning and closeness sensors available on the Rav4. The 2019 Highlander has a V6 that is well reported on and gives us the performance we need. Our ride has definitely improved on the Highlander.

No expectation of buying a car. I stopped in just to look. My wife and I had been discussing getting a newer car but had issues getting a loan. This was about the 6th dealership we had looked at in a week and only did so because a friend had recently bought his car there. I was so glad we did, everyone was so friendly and helpful. We were able to get a car that day with very little down. The payment was a little higher than I hoped but this was the first real offer we had. We switched from 4Runner to Highlander! Many years of Toyota loyalty in our family. Camrys to Tacoma’s we have had them all. I stole my wife’s 4Runner away from her and replaced it with a 2021 Highlander XSE. It’s been awesome. Bought it brand new. We just hit 65k. We drive from northern Idaho to Scottsdale Az all year and at anytime. Yes, anytime. AWD Snowmobile. It’s awesome in the snow! 22-28 MPG on the Hwy. For those worried about driving a wagon looking vessel around that does not have the great looks of the 4Runner? Don’t worry about it. The XSE has a great looking front end. The XSE Model handles great and boogies. Yes, it’s quick and drives like a sports car. Well, it handles well not quite a sports car. Don’t get the regular Highlander. XSE looks different, has the JBL stereo and drives great. AWD with a Snow Mode. Oh, and it had a third row for little ones. Reliability - been amazing. Zero issues.

Have had our 2023 Highlander XLE AWD since April 2023. Live in Chicago area and have driven to Arizona and Maine. Zero problems with the car. We put a large Thule box on the roof, multiple mountain bikes on a bike carrier and a kayak. Lots of luggage, got 27 miles per gallon on both trips. Plenty of power in the Rocky Mountains. Would recommend the car to others. We have a great Toyota dealership but all we have needed is schedule maintenance.

They were good enough to notify me that the vehicle sold, saving me over a 200 mile trip.

We have the 2022 Limited edition. Love the heated and cooled leather seats, very comfortable. Overall vehicle is very quiet, except on concrete roadway surfaces. The rain sensing wipers don't function as well as the ones we had on our 2019 Rav4. I will say, the 3rd row seats are for young kids or very small flexible adults. Also, front doors need more of an arm rest higher up on the doors. The tri zone heat and cooling is great. I like how the adaptive cruise will even slow you down some when entering curves. The 11 speaker JBL sound system is very good. Overall, the negatives listed are fairly minor issues, because we really enjoy this vehicle and the features. I am disappointed that Toyota will not be offering the v-6 in 2023. I much prefer the smoothness and power and torque curve of the 6 versus the turbo 4. The 8 speed transmission is butter smooth, although the kickdown response could be improved. This is our 4th Toyota and will keep coming back because of the higher quality standards and overall reliability. Also, Toyota seems to listen to customers better and making adjustments or corrections better than a lot of the other auto makers.

I recently traveled from Indy to Toyota of Muncie because I needed to trade in my lease and find a new car. I was helped first on the phone by Josh Chamness and then later that afternoon in the store. He asked plenty of questions about what I was looking for and by the time I arrived he had a couple cars in mind and took me right to them. I picked out a car and he was able to give me a fair price. He was even willing to bring the car to Indy so my husband could test drive it. Even though I did not purchase from Toyota of Muncie, Josh was a great partner in finding the best deal possible. It has a lot of road noise and the low profile tires makes feel like you're running on flats you feel everything I'm not happy at all it's nothing like my 2015 highlander no compassion at all!

Justin Messersmith was fantastic. I arrived at the dealership at 5 o'clock on a Friday afternoon (of the 4th of July weekend), and Justin came and welcomed me and listened to what I was looking for. I was looking at small SUV and Justin was very knowledgeable about the CR-V we looked at first. We took it for a test drive and I was impressed with the CR-V. By the time we got back it was 6 o'clock (closing time), I said I would come back tomorrow to look. Justin offered to let me take the car overnight to check the CR-V better. I took the vehicle home and when I returned on Saturday, I was greeted by Justin in the parking lot. I test drove the Rav4 and decided on leasing the CR-V. It took awhile in financing due to so many people buying vehicles that day, by the time I was done it was past closing hours, but Justin was still there waiting to make sure I had no other questions before I left. I truly appreciate all the extra time the Justin spent with me. I would say overall it was the best car buying experience I have had. Will definitely recommend Kokomo Auto World to anyone wanting to buy a vehicle.

I bought a brand new Toyota Highlander platinum hybrid, 2022. I’ve owned Mercedes and a whole bunch of other cars but the noise from this literally hurts my ears. Really sucks because I wanted to keep this car forever but now I wanna get rid of it because the low bassy vibration is absolutely terrible. I have seen some people talking about a foot to radiator seal, hoping that might help. I want to fix this but its some serious xxxxxxxx. I like bass but this suckd toyota… 😢

I was looking for a new corvette. I called All American and spoke with multiple people at the dealership. Not only did they have a car available, they added no hidden markups, they were upfront about $399 PPF dealer add-on. They worked out everything possible over the phone and the in-person experience from the sales team, financing and car trade in was seamless, efficient and everyone was kind, polite and always available to answer questions or help.

I waited months, purposely, before writing this review. When I initially bought the car, I was scared because the reviews made it seem as if I made the worst mistake of my life. 6 months, 7000 miles later, the car running great. In the beginning, there was the weird shifting and lag but as time went on, around 5000 miles it had mostly smoothed out. After I took it for the TSB/Recall for a software update, it has been running perfectly since, no lag or strange shifting at all. I haven’t had any trouble otherwise. It’s roomy and comfortable for long trips. The third row is really for short trips(no more than 1hr 1/2) and for people 5’8 and under. The MPG excels on the highway especially on ECO mode with cruise control. I’ve gotten it as high as 33/34 mpg at 70mph on relatively flat land. In the city, it does terrible. I average around 17-19 even with slowly accelerations. My DTE is 290-310miles, 95% City driving. I’m sure those who use it on the highway will reach much higher. Despite the new 4 Cylinder Turbo, it has quite a bit of power and was able to take off very fast with a car loaded with adults (even in the third row). As of right now, the engine has been nothing but reliable. If anything changes, I’ll surely come back and edit this review. But for now, this 23 Highlander Limited Non-Hybrid, is a fantastic mid-size SUV and I recommend it now with the software update taking care of the shifting problem.

We own a 2.4 Turbo XSE, has plenty of power to get you in and out of traffic. Just took a 10 hour road trip from NC through the mountains of VA & WV, performed like a champ up steep inclines and ride was very comfortable. We really like the captain chairs, easy to get passengers (inlaws) in and out. Had plenty of room for a wheelchair with 3rd row folded down. Really like the sporty look of Highlander. The 20" black rims compliment the look for me. I wish Toyota would've designed with dual exhaust to better enhance the design.

I drove 3 hours to this dealership to get the deal I wanted. Devin did not disappoint me! He gave me a great deal on the car I was purchasing as well as my trade in. I used to own the Infiniti QX60 and loved it in every way. Had to get rid of it because of the famous transmission cvt problems so I got a Toyota. Aside from the interior which is not super sophisticated as the Infiniti, Toyota is a very reliable car. I know engine will always start and the car will always perform. Very comfortable and mileage is great for a V6! Toyota is the best! Everybody else is just an mature.

Great 3-row hybrid. Very reliable. Very comfortable. Lots of cargo space, especially with the third row seat down. Put down the second row and cargo space is enormous. Good gas mileage for a 6-cylinder. Nice pick-up for an SUV. Would definitely buy another Highlander

I bought my 2022 Highlander SE in November 2021 when selections were limited. It was not my first pick after researching and not my preferred color. I financed outside of Toyota and received a much better interest rate and my credit union said I was paying more than a reasonable price. But I was desperate and needed to new vehicle. I will see if the resale value keeps up with current value. So far it has performed well with a slight exception for the all wheel disk brakes. Sometimes I hear noises from the rear when backing out of my driveway when applying brake pressure. Also braking while driving seems a little soft and squirrelly. Just doesn’t feel quite right. The technology options are too numerous to mention and still learning but love the blind spot notification features. Fuel mileage is good compared to my V8 but performance is lacking even with sport drive feature selected. And in reference to one of the other reviews, the console storage is deep but too narrow. Overall I am enjoying my Highlander very much. I haven’t made a road trip in it yet so we will see. I can say it is a great family vehicle for short trips around town where a lot of start stops occur.

I was trying to buy a Toyota Hylander from this dealership and David Rhum is who contacted me after an internet inquiry. He was very upfront about everything taking his time to explain everything. Unfortunately due to a dealership rule, he could not sell this type of vehicle to me because I lived too far away. Most salespeople would then not talk to you. Not Mr. Rhum - he continued to assist by answering questions and letting me know where the make and model of the vehicle was available and at which dealership. I've already been to the parts department to buy a roof rack and they were very nice and helpful as well. If going to Toyota of Muncie ask for David Rhum, if you get 1/2 of the service and assistance that he gave us - you will already be at 100%.

Have had 2 Toyota Rav Limiteds and they were great. Decided to go with something a little bigger this time so got a preowned 2023 Highlander Limited. Love the ride, quieter than the Rav 4 and definitely more room. It’s only 3 inches wider, but 10 inches longer. Seems like the front area is quite a bit bigger than the Rav. Great purchase!
