2015 highlander limited. Its very smooth , the seat/mirror memory buttons are great , the auto high beams are awesome. Its easy to maintain, all the fluids and breaks etc are very easy to service right in the driveway. It has the 6 speed transmission that is known to be very reliable (unlike the 8spd trans that toyota came out with in 2017)

I saw a car that I was interested in and called the dealership, Smythe Volvo in Summmit. I spoke to a salesmen, Jesus Garcia. I drove to the dealership to see and test drive the care. Jesus was very accommodating. His warm and kind nature made it easy and comfortable in deciding on the car. When we got back to the office I gave an offer and it was excepted. I traded in my 2016 RAV4 Limited for the Highlander XLE. Primarily for the ride. We had to give up some features such as seat positioning and closeness sensors available on the Rav4. The 2019 Highlander has a V6 that is well reported on and gives us the performance we need. Our ride has definitely improved on the Highlander.

Bought the '12 used with 30k miles on it 9 years ago. It now has 187k and is running great. Regular oil changes and typical maintenance, brakes, tires, etc. The AC did go last year and was fixed. Car is plenty cargo spacious and has been used to move many items, furniture, building materials etc. The only thing I'd like better from it is brighter headlights. If a HIghlander has been maintained I'd not hesitate to pick up a higher mileage used one and expect many more miles.

This car has met (most) of my expectations. I love all of the features, but I wish the speedometer was digital to see what speed I am going, and I wish I could see how many miles I have left to an empty tank. A couple other things I would have loved to have is a blind spot monitor, and remote start but these are all just luxuries and do not affect the cars driving abilities. Just my personal preferences! Overall very happy with my purchase and I hope this vehicle lasts me a long time!

Dealer was very freindly and very flexible with mg request to take the car to a mechanic for an inspection prior to Purchasing. He allowed me fo test drive it on my own which made the test drive feel much better. Car was in clean condition and dealer had it priced under market value even after dealer fees. Dealer was very upfront and transparent answering all my questions and did not pressure me in anyway. Would highly recommend this dealership. It was the first time Ive ever bougjt from a dealer and Im glad I did.

I have had my 2012 Highlander 7 months ago with 142k and we have put 9k miles on it. Bought it from the 1st owner that had dealer service on it. They had delt with the oil leaks around 60k with the dealer working on it 4 times before they got it fixed by dropping the motor and doing head gaskets on it the last time. Still no leaks. I had to do a few interior repairs like the radio volume control jumping, jut pull the knob off and spray a electrical cleaner in and protect the dash from it. And 1 of the trunk floor flaps was broken off, also easy fix, clean the throttle body and mass air flow, new air filter, then reset the computer by disconnecting the battery for 30 seconds so it can re learn the throttle body from the cleaning. I then drive to Florida and I got 25mpg with my SE, V6, 4X4. I have a bad back and 3 surgeries and this is 1 of the most comfortable vehicle I have ever driven equal to my loaded Suburban, Tahoe, and Avalanches I have had. If I ever get rid of it it will be for another one.

We bought our 2012 highlander in 2021 with 220,000 miles on it. After taking it on a couple of trips the alternator has failed but it was the original. This suv was great in the snow this past year and the ac on trips last year made a great people hauler for the family.

I've always loved the look and feel of a Toyota Highlander. But I never thought I could afford one. I found my Highlander at Alton Toyota, Alton, Il. and fell in love. I asked about the price and I couldn't believe it was right in my price range. I test drove it and it was love at first drive. Everyone from the Sales-person, finance and even the Technicians. were friendly, helpful and answered all my questions. They even went above and beyond making sure I got the best loan that fit me. I love my highlander and just got back from Myrtle Beach SC, driving round trip. It is so fun to drive and all the room is unbelievable. Our minds were set on a Toyota Highlander due to the quality of the car and high mileage that we had on our Toyota Sienna (243,000). We did not need a mini-van yet still need room to haul. Honestly I expect to get 300,000 miles out of this jewel, and I will since I keep my cars serviced.

As anyone knows, the stress and time that goes into finding a used vehicle. From my first stop to see the car, Erik was accommodating, and there was no pressure. It took a couple of days to see some other similar vehicles and found our way back to this one. Test drove it with Erik and enjoyed his knowledge and personality, and did not feel rushed. A small down payment to hold the vehicle while doing the finance paperwork. Easy and quick process, and Rob, the finance guy, understood our parameters and helped us get there. The no hidden fees was a big plus to know our exact costs. Where these guys really shined was when we ran into insurance quote issues. They couldn’t be more understanding, giving us the time to work through it and offering to help where they could. Definitely consider them when shopping for a vehicle.

We bought this car new in March 2015. It currently has over 205,000 miles, and I am selling it to buy a Grand Highlander next week. I still drive it back and forth from Iowa to Florida 3 times a year, and never worry about it making it. It handles great in any snow Iowa gave me, and last trip to Florida I averaged over 25 mpg traveling about 75. I have done all my scheduled maintenance at Cedar Rapids Toyota, changing the oil every 10,000 miles, and 1 tune up with spark plugs at 120k. Total repairs, (not maintenance), was under $450. 1 rubber seal for sunroof, 4 tire pressure monitors, and 4 sets of lug nuts, as they were rusting on. Truly the best and most reliable car I have ever owned. One reason I am trading up to a Grand Highlander is to get all the new safety features. My oldest daughter is buying this, because they know it surely has another 100k + of life left in it.

This place has the most respectful employees I have ever dealt with and Olivia was a great help the process before coming to the dealership she had made it so much easier for me. If you ever have questions or concerns go to Olivia she is the best.

It’s been a very reliable car the past 7 years. No issues mechanically speaking. Body style is great Mine has no safety warning features. My dislikes are the huge side mirrors and window frame. I’m 5’1” and they are a huge blind spot issue for me. Even my 5’10” son has issues. You cannot see the curb on a curve and you have to be extra careful to watch for pedestrians at thr crosswalks. And the nav screen/system and back up camera are USELESS during a sunny afternoon. The angle they installed it and without something to shade it makes it impossible to use. Actually dangerous at times. The only other thing is the road noise. It’s not terrible but next car I’m going for will be a quiet ride.

I don't know how many have got to enjoy a car for 300,000 miles without ever leaving you on the side of the road, but I have. My Toyota Venza was at 280,000 miles and still running strong when it was involved in an accident. The only things ever went bad was the radiator and a/c. Who can say that besides a Toyota owner? My 2016 Highlander XLE that I recently purchased is roomy, luxurious, and dependable. The size fits my family's needs. I can't wait to enjoy this vehicle over the next many years!
