I've always loved the look and feel of a Toyota Highlander. But I never thought I could afford one. I found my Highlander at Alton Toyota, Alton, Il. and fell in love. I asked about the price and I couldn't believe it was right in my price range. I test drove it and it was love at first drive. Everyone from the Sales-person, finance and even the Technicians. were friendly, helpful and answered all my questions. They even went above and beyond making sure I got the best loan that fit me. I love my highlander and just got back from Myrtle Beach SC, driving round trip. It is so fun to drive and all the room is unbelievable. I highly recommend both the highlander and Alton Toyota dealership!

Large doors and front seats. Easy to get in and out. You have to pull past the protective bollard at the gas pump as to not ding the edge of the door. A lot of safety bells and whistles for an older car. Can tow with the best and high enough to take fishing and hunting. Good power. Feels safe in winter driving with in reason. If it gets icy or the snow gets over 5” I stay home. Operational noise is not annoying even when pulling into traffic or down shifting going up a steep hill. It gets almost 21 miles per gallon. I have no intention of spending thousands more on a vehicle to get better gas mileage. It’s paid off. I’m retired and put about 8000 miles a year on it. It still runs like new. I would love to keep it as long as I can. It also can haul pretty much everything I need.

Answered my questions, kept me informed and was very knowledgeable about my questions regarding the service to be performed on my Highlander. My SUV was ready when I was told it would be.

Have had our 2023 Highlander XLE AWD since April 2023. Live in Chicago area and have driven to Arizona and Maine. Zero problems with the car. We put a large Thule box on the roof, multiple mountain bikes on a bike carrier and a kayak. Lots of luggage, got 27 miles per gallon on both trips. Plenty of power in the Rocky Mountains. Would recommend the car to others. We have a great Toyota dealership but all we have needed is schedule maintenance.

This is my second Highlander. The first was a 2008 model and still in the family running great. This model has also served me well. I have 75,000 miles on it. I bought new tires at 60,000 and just had the battery replaced 3 weeks ago. The car runs great!

It was good and prompt. Although it would have been better if there was an adjustment on the tire repair since I spent over $700 a few days ago on 30K mile service plan .

My sales person Alex Valdez was great! I thought he would give up on me because I was very picky and expected alot. I had resigned myself to keeping my current car, but then he found me the perfect vehicle and I love it! All in all it was a pleasant experience and I highly recommend McGrath Honda/Elgin. We switched from 4Runner to Highlander! Many years of Toyota loyalty in our family. Camrys to Tacoma’s we have had them all. I stole my wife’s 4Runner away from her and replaced it with a 2021 Highlander XSE. It’s been awesome. Bought it brand new. We just hit 65k. We drive from northern Idaho to Scottsdale Az all year and at anytime. Yes, anytime. AWD Snowmobile. It’s awesome in the snow! 22-28 MPG on the Hwy. For those worried about driving a wagon looking vessel around that does not have the great looks of the 4Runner? Don’t worry about it. The XSE has a great looking front end. The XSE Model handles great and boogies. Yes, it’s quick and drives like a sports car. Well, it handles well not quite a sports car. Don’t get the regular Highlander. XSE looks different, has the JBL stereo and drives great. AWD with a Snow Mode. Oh, and it had a third row for little ones. Reliability - been amazing. Zero issues.

I had my model all picked out. The next step was to decide which dealer to buy it from. Samy from AutoNation was the easiest and most pleasant to deal with.

We looked at several SUVs while shopping around and kept coming back to the Highlander. It is a Highlander Limited AWD Platinum Edition. We could not be more pleased with this vehicle

I had a flat, it caused rim scrapping on both tires on drivers side, I called Brennen and brought the car in and this morning Patty called and it was a nail and they could repair tire and have rims fixed. Zero problems in 8 years ownership. Very comfortable. Still looks brand new. My next car will definitely be another Highlander, perhaps a 2025 Highlander Hybrid.

Work was done after 1 1/2 hours and at a reasonable price considering it's been four years since brake work was done on this vehicle.

I traded in my 2016 RAV4 Limited for the Highlander XLE. Primarily for the ride. We had to give up some features such as seat positioning and closeness sensors available on the Rav4. The 2019 Highlander has a V6 that is well reported on and gives us the performance we need. Our ride has definitely improved on the Highlander.

Came through drive time, met with Jabari which was an amazing experience and got me in a vehicle that I was comfort with! Definitely recommend!

Overall very good and reliable vehicle for the money. Not the most comfortable, stylish, or best on fuel but for the price i dont think you can find better

I was looking for a specific car that was at this CarMax. Problem was that I live in Minnesota, not Chicago and would have to traveling a great distance for a car I had not seen other than in pics, potentially risking wasting a great deal of time and money. I had to trust Jonathan, my salesman, to tell me the condition of the car where the pics could not. He was completely honest and the car was exactly what he said it was. Between Jonathan and Adam, the sales manager i was able to close the deal and drive back to home within an hour. I am completely pleased with the car and 100% satisfied with the dealership. I guess you can trust a car dealership. I did and they did not let me down. Thanks guys.

2015 highlander limited. Its very smooth , the seat/mirror memory buttons are great , the auto high beams are awesome. Its easy to maintain, all the fluids and breaks etc are very easy to service right in the driveway. It has the 6 speed transmission that is known to be very reliable (unlike the 8spd trans that toyota came out with in 2017)

Finally I enjoyed the car buying experience! Bob Pearson understood our out of state trip had a tight window to look at the car. He made sure it was ready for a test drive after a thorough description of the features. He explained everything in detail and continues to answer texts about settings on the car after the purchase. This is an organization built for customer service. Isral Leiva made the paperwork and financial transaction seamless. You won’t be sorry starting here when vehicle shopping. Luxurious is how I would describe this car! Smooth ride, efficient and a great looking vehicle! It has plenty of room and pretty cool features as well. I live this car and highly recommend it!

I have 212k miles and it still drives great and looks good. Only needed all the regular maintenance. Size is perfect. Love the back up camera and Bluetooth.

Great 3-row hybrid. Very reliable. Very comfortable. Lots of cargo space, especially with the third row seat down. Put down the second row and cargo space is enormous. Good gas mileage for a 6-cylinder. Nice pick-up for an SUV. Would definitely buy another Highlander

I’ve had no problems with my Highlander since I had it. I just keep up the maintenance and it drives as smooth as it did when I first got it. The other thing I like about it is the roomy comfort it gives and that it’s heavy enough to handle the road. It huges the road in curves so good. I am truly satisfied with my Highlander.

Best reliable car around Toyota Highlander 2019. Great all road trips. Spaces and plenty of room for everyone. Bars inside seat for car seats to connect to keep baby safe. I have bought 3 Highlanders and loved everyone.

I purchased my 2010 Highlander in March 2011 with 5K miles. I now have 177,377 miles and never had a major repair required. Just replaced spark plugs for second time and should be good for another 75-80K miles. Thinking of trading in-not sure what to do. Oh btw: I’ve never missed a scheduled oil change in 13 years or ownership. Anyone have an opinion??????

I bought this car new in 2008. I have nothing bad to say except the paint start flaking after about 5 years. I should have taken to dealer over paint issue. My car only has 65,000 miles and paint is completely gone. I am in the process of a new paint job. Seems my issue was the clear coat in the paint. I have owned 6 other Toyotas, all bought new. This is only 1 with this issue!
