Used Toyota Highlander for sale near Hingham, MA under $30,000

Large doors and front seats. Easy to get in and out. You have to pull past the protective bollard at the gas pump as to not ding the edge of the door. A lot of safety bells and whistles for an older car. Can tow with the best and high enough to take fishing and hunting. Good power. Feels safe in winter driving with in reason. If it gets icy or the snow gets over 5” I stay home. Operational noise is not annoying even when pulling into traffic or down shifting going up a steep hill. It gets almost 21 miles per gallon. I have no intention of spending thousands more on a vehicle to get better gas mileage. It’s paid off. I’m retired and put about 8000 miles a year on it. It still runs like new. I would love to keep it as long as I can. It also can haul pretty much everything I need.

I traded in my 2016 RAV4 Limited for the Highlander XLE. Primarily for the ride. We had to give up some features such as seat positioning and closeness sensors available on the Rav4. The 2019 Highlander has a V6 that is well reported on and gives us the performance we need. Our ride has definitely improved on the Highlander.

Overall a good reliable 3-row SUV, with a comfortable ride, decent trip mileage, and good acceleration (good power train. Negatives are a poorly designed A/C condensor (Rocks kicked up will punture it releasing all the coolant) and very high wind noise at freeway speeds (hard to talk, radio has to be turned up very high).

This is my second Highlander. The first was a 2008 model and still in the family running great. This model has also served me well. I have 75,000 miles on it. I bought new tires at 60,000 and just had the battery replaced 3 weeks ago. The car runs great!

Luxurious is how I would describe this car! Smooth ride, efficient and a great looking vehicle! It has plenty of room and pretty cool features as well. I live this car and highly recommend it!

Have had our 2023 Highlander XLE AWD since April 2023. Live in Chicago area and have driven to Arizona and Maine. Zero problems with the car. We put a large Thule box on the roof, multiple mountain bikes on a bike carrier and a kayak. Lots of luggage, got 27 miles per gallon on both trips. Plenty of power in the Rocky Mountains. Would recommend the car to others. We have a great Toyota dealership but all we have needed is schedule maintenance.

I had a good experience. Traded in my old car and bought a used Honda. Been driving it for around two years no problem. Big fan of CarMax.

I've always loved the look and feel of a Toyota Highlander. But I never thought I could afford one. I found my Highlander at Alton Toyota, Alton, Il. and fell in love. I asked about the price and I couldn't believe it was right in my price range. I test drove it and it was love at first drive. My mother recently rented this car for a family vacation to West Virginia and it was amazing! Excellent mileage for an SUV its size. Great performance. Tons of safety features (which is a VERY GOOD thing). Beautiful acceleration. The only problem we had was with the fact that the car will adjust the speed depending on the cars around it (or something like that), but it only happened when cruise control was on. It was overall a very nice car and we are actually planning on purchasing one soon.

We purchased a pre owned Golf and were very pleased with our experience. Everyone we worked with was professional and helpful. Low pressure attitude and well versed in their product and customer focused. We purchased the least expensive vehicle on the lot and received the same attention as I would expect from a high dollar purchase. We have the 2022 Limited edition. Love the heated and cooled leather seats, very comfortable. Overall vehicle is very quiet, except on concrete roadway surfaces. The rain sensing wipers don't function as well as the ones we had on our 2019 Rav4. I will say, the 3rd row seats are for young kids or very small flexible adults. Also, front doors need more of an arm rest higher up on the doors. The tri zone heat and cooling is great. I like how the adaptive cruise will even slow you down some when entering curves. The 11 speaker JBL sound system is very good. Overall, the negatives listed are fairly minor issues, because we really enjoy this vehicle and the features. I am disappointed that Toyota will not be offering the v-6 in 2023. I much prefer the smoothness and power and torque curve of the 6 versus the turbo 4. The 8 speed transmission is butter smooth, although the kickdown response could be improved. This is our 4th Toyota and will keep coming back because of the higher quality standards and overall reliability. Also, Toyota seems to listen to customers better and making adjustments or corrections better than a lot of the other auto makers.

Jorge in the body shop was amazing. He was able to get my car in right away after an accident and he communicated proactively with my insurance company. He looped me in regularly to update me on what was happening and managed to facilitate my car being repaired in just over a week. I couldn’t have asked for better service. I have 212k miles and it still drives great and looks good. Only needed all the regular maintenance. Size is perfect. Love the back up camera and Bluetooth.

We purchased a 2021 Toyota Highlander Limited in April of 2021. We absolutely love this car! The convenience features and comfort are the best we have experienced, and the interior design and quality is the best in the class. The upgraded 12.3" screen is worth the extra money, as the text is clear and precise, and the surround view monitor is incredibly useful for parking in tight spaces. We have friends with a comparable Explorer Limited, and the interior quality is far below that of our Highlander, and the ride quality with the 4-cylinder is jerky and noisy. However, even though we have had no mechanical issues, we have had issues with wind noise and a leaking AC unit into the car, both of which were fixed by the dealer for free due to warranty. Other than those minor hiccups, we love our Highlander!

Anthony was very easy to deal with he also fixed and replaced a lot of things on the car to make it right and his employee Marie was a sweetheart of a person he’s delivering the car to my home very pleasant experience

Zero problems in 8 years ownership. Very comfortable. Still looks brand new. My next car will definitely be another Highlander, perhaps a 2025 Highlander Hybrid.

Very friendly and very knowledgeable. This was the first time in my life that I bought a car within 2hrs. I usually take 2 days to make up my mind about a car. When I showed up at Foxboro Auto Gallery I talked to the manager about the car I've been keeping an eye on. He told me everything about the car. He gave me exactly what I wanted for my car.
