I traded in my 2016 RAV4 Limited for the Highlander XLE. Primarily for the ride. We had to give up some features such as seat positioning and closeness sensors available on the Rav4. The 2019 Highlander has a V6 that is well reported on and gives us the performance we need. Our ride has definitely improved on the Highlander.

2015 highlander limited. Its very smooth , the seat/mirror memory buttons are great , the auto high beams are awesome. Its easy to maintain, all the fluids and breaks etc are very easy to service right in the driveway. It has the 6 speed transmission that is known to be very reliable (unlike the 8spd trans that toyota came out with in 2017)

Best Service ever!! I've taken my cars to different BMW dealers for service in the past, but without any doubt this dealer has the best service department. Arutin, the guy who helped me was so knowledgeable and professional. Will definitely bring my cars here again.

Large doors and front seats. Easy to get in and out. You have to pull past the protective bollard at the gas pump as to not ding the edge of the door. A lot of safety bells and whistles for an older car. Can tow with the best and high enough to take fishing and hunting. Good power. Feels safe in winter driving with in reason. If it gets icy or the snow gets over 5” I stay home. Operational noise is not annoying even when pulling into traffic or down shifting going up a steep hill. It gets almost 21 miles per gallon. I have no intention of spending thousands more on a vehicle to get better gas mileage. It’s paid off. I’m retired and put about 8000 miles a year on it. It still runs like new. I would love to keep it as long as I can. It also can haul pretty much everything I need.

I've always loved the look and feel of a Toyota Highlander. But I never thought I could afford one. I found my Highlander at Alton Toyota, Alton, Il. and fell in love. I asked about the price and I couldn't believe it was right in my price range. I test drove it and it was love at first drive. Everyone from the Sales-person, finance and even the Technicians. were friendly, helpful and answered all my questions. They even went above and beyond making sure I got the best loan that fit me. I love my highlander and just got back from Myrtle Beach SC, driving round trip. It is so fun to drive and all the room is unbelievable. Went to Phat’s today to look at a Camry and can say this was easily my best dealer experience. Phat took the time out of his busy day to talk with me about the car and share his great knowledge of the engines and navigating the used car buying experience. He gave me advice and was honest and straight up with me placing no pressure to buy the car even giving advice which would lead me elsewhere. If your like me and hate going to dealerships because of the sellers you usually encounter, I can assure you that if you walk in and ask for Phat he will give you that feeling right off the bat that he is a trust worthy person. He will give you advice about the vehicle (coming from a master auto technician) and get you into something that is right for you not into some xxx that has the best profit margin. Also if your cool he will even show you cars he is working on in his shop and shoot the xxxx! My experience today was different (for the better) because the small issues I had with the car he was willing to sit down and go over making a list to fix before we made a deal… where I am used to the seller dropping the notorious “the car is priced for what your getting”. Anyways, he has clean cars there and stands by them with a warranty that is rare in the used car business. And trust me when you talk to him you know he will stand behind his warranty and his cars. That is why I will be going back.. he just had a vehicle come in that I like but is not ready yet. Thanks again Phat for all the knowledge and just being a cool dude!

I had mine for two years before I rolled it (3 times and walked away with one scratch and a bruise) and I had to replace the timing belt once (still had the original on it). Replaced the alternator on it because I was slowly killing it with my system in it (cost 400 bucks maybe a little more and was easy enough to replace myself) I got up to 42 mpg on average when I drove mine. Would definitely buy again, only had issues with the rear suspension and alignment.

Many problems, but the car drives fine. Got it for cheap as a first car. Already had to put around 3- 4k into it. Fun car

The car dealership was very thorough in their inquiry. Now I know that I have to come up with $5000 down payment before I can start making monthly down payments.

Bought the '12 used with 30k miles on it 9 years ago. It now has 187k and is running great. Regular oil changes and typical maintenance, brakes, tires, etc. The AC did go last year and was fixed. Car is plenty cargo spacious and has been used to move many items, furniture, building materials etc. The only thing I'd like better from it is brighter headlights. If a HIghlander has been maintained I'd not hesitate to pick up a higher mileage used one and expect many more miles.

We bought this car new in March 2015. It currently has over 205,000 miles, and I am selling it to buy a Grand Highlander next week. I still drive it back and forth from Iowa to Florida 3 times a year, and never worry about it making it. It handles great in any snow Iowa gave me, and last trip to Florida I averaged over 25 mpg traveling about 75. I have done all my scheduled maintenance at Cedar Rapids Toyota, changing the oil every 10,000 miles, and 1 tune up with spark plugs at 120k. Total repairs, (not maintenance), was under $450. 1 rubber seal for sunroof, 4 tire pressure monitors, and 4 sets of lug nuts, as they were rusting on. Truly the best and most reliable car I have ever owned. One reason I am trading up to a Grand Highlander is to get all the new safety features. My oldest daughter is buying this, because they know it surely has another 100k + of life left in it.

I bought this car new in 2008. I have nothing bad to say except the paint start flaking after about 5 years. I should have taken to dealer over paint issue. My car only has 65,000 miles and paint is completely gone. I am in the process of a new paint job. Seems my issue was the clear coat in the paint. I have owned 6 other Toyotas, all bought new. This is only 1 with this issue!

It has a long life. Well built both interior and exterior. Safe to drive. Classic brand (Toyota) A little bit more on gas but it's worth it the way it drives

The car is the closest I could come to my other one the Rav 4 . This is the 4th Toyota Ive had, T100, Camry, Rav 4 & now my Higjhlander. I swear by Toyotas !!

My highlander has 87,000 miles and is good as new. Never had any mechanical issues. Just had it detailed and it looks like new. Still has original brakes which have some miles remaining!

In house financing was needed to leave with the car, gotta be transparent with your sales people about pre approvals and what needed to get going.

This is my second Highlander. The first was a 2008 model and still in the family running great. This model has also served me well. I have 75,000 miles on it. I bought new tires at 60,000 and just had the battery replaced 3 weeks ago. The car runs great!

Great experience buying my first car at Longo Toyota in El Monte. Was helped out by Simon and Brandon they are the best ! they explain everything to you and are not shady like other places. I Will no longer go to small used car dealerships that have only been bad experiences for me, and they overcharge.
