Used Toyota Highlander for sale near North Bend, OH

We were in the market for a car and came across what looked like a great deal at Walt Sweeney Ford on cars.com. I called the dealership and was put in touch with Brett Jostworth. We made arrangements to come in on Saturday. Took the car for a drive, made a minor request on the interior and bought the car the next day. The reason we made the decision so quickly was Brett. His approach to sales and general nature really made a stressful time not stressful at all. I can’t say enough great things about Brett!

I've always loved the look and feel of a Toyota Highlander. But I never thought I could afford one. I found my Highlander at Alton Toyota, Alton, Il. and fell in love. I asked about the price and I couldn't believe it was right in my price range. I test drove it and it was love at first drive. Everyone from the Sales-person, finance and even the Technicians. were friendly, helpful and answered all my questions. They even went above and beyond making sure I got the best loan that fit me. I love my highlander and just got back from Myrtle Beach SC, driving round trip. It is so fun to drive and all the room is unbelievable. I highly recommend both the highlander and Alton Toyota dealership!

Definitely worth the trip to Joseph Toyota of Cincinnati. We were looking for a specific color and specs for our next vehicle and we found one online. We called and spoke with Ty and decided to drive from North Dayton to Cincy to see it. Ty took great care of us from the test drive to purchase. Got a fair trade and smooth transaction with the financing. Shout out to Andrew in Finance as well! Both gentlemen were friendly, knowledgeable and no pressure salesmen. I traded in my 2016 RAV4 Limited for the Highlander XLE. Primarily for the ride. We had to give up some features such as seat positioning and closeness sensors available on the Rav4. The 2019 Highlander has a V6 that is well reported on and gives us the performance we need. Our ride has definitely improved on the Highlander.

Chad and Sheri were great! Firestone in Newport, KY are dishonest. It was suggested that I go to Performance Honda by my close friend. Performance Honda fixed what Firestone tried to mess up. I will NEVER go back to Firestone in Newport, Kentucky.P H will be my go to from now on. Word of mouth, they are worth the drive. Performance Honda in Fairfield, Ohio. We switched from 4Runner to Highlander! Many years of Toyota loyalty in our family. Camrys to Tacoma’s we have had them all. I stole my wife’s 4Runner away from her and replaced it with a 2021 Highlander XSE. It’s been awesome. Bought it brand new. We just hit 65k. We drive from northern Idaho to Scottsdale Az all year and at anytime. Yes, anytime. AWD Snowmobile. It’s awesome in the snow! 22-28 MPG on the Hwy. For those worried about driving a wagon looking vessel around that does not have the great looks of the 4Runner? Don’t worry about it. The XSE has a great looking front end. The XSE Model handles great and boogies. Yes, it’s quick and drives like a sports car. Well, it handles well not quite a sports car. Don’t get the regular Highlander. XSE looks different, has the JBL stereo and drives great. AWD with a Snow Mode. Oh, and it had a third row for little ones. Reliability - been amazing. Zero issues.

Have had our 2023 Highlander XLE AWD since April 2023. Live in Chicago area and have driven to Arizona and Maine. Zero problems with the car. We put a large Thule box on the roof, multiple mountain bikes on a bike carrier and a kayak. Lots of luggage, got 27 miles per gallon on both trips. Plenty of power in the Rocky Mountains. Would recommend the car to others. We have a great Toyota dealership but all we have needed is schedule maintenance.

Large doors and front seats. Easy to get in and out. You have to pull past the protective bollard at the gas pump as to not ding the edge of the door. A lot of safety bells and whistles for an older car. Can tow with the best and high enough to take fishing and hunting. Good power. Feels safe in winter driving with in reason. If it gets icy or the snow gets over 5” I stay home. Operational noise is not annoying even when pulling into traffic or down shifting going up a steep hill. It gets almost 21 miles per gallon. I have no intention of spending thousands more on a vehicle to get better gas mileage. It’s paid off. I’m retired and put about 8000 miles a year on it. It still runs like new. I would love to keep it as long as I can. It also can haul pretty much everything I need.

Keith in the service department is awesome he's a super nice guy and will have you smiling the entire time you're with him. And Erin in the rental department is super kind, she keeps the conversation going and is very professional. Keep people like them around. 🫶🏼

I bought a brand new Toyota Highlander platinum hybrid, 2022. I’ve owned Mercedes and a whole bunch of other cars but the noise from this literally hurts my ears. Really sucks because I wanted to keep this car forever but now I wanna get rid of it because the low bassy vibration is absolutely terrible. I have seen some people talking about a foot to radiator seal, hoping that might help. I want to fix this but its some serious xxxxxxxx. I like bass but this suckd toyota… 😢

My 2022 Highlander is a great car. It is very roomy and comfortable with a lot of safety features. The back seat is very comfortable

This is my second Highlander. The first was a 2008 model and still in the family running great. This model has also served me well. I have 75,000 miles on it. I bought new tires at 60,000 and just had the battery replaced 3 weeks ago. The car runs great!

Zero problems in 8 years ownership. Very comfortable. Still looks brand new. My next car will definitely be another Highlander, perhaps a 2025 Highlander Hybrid.

Best reliable car around Toyota Highlander 2019. Great all road trips. Spaces and plenty of room for everyone. Bars inside seat for car seats to connect to keep baby safe. I have bought 3 Highlanders and loved everyone.

I purchased my 2010 Highlander in March 2011 with 5K miles. I now have 177,377 miles and never had a major repair required. Just replaced spark plugs for second time and should be good for another 75-80K miles. Thinking of trading in-not sure what to do. Oh btw: I’ve never missed a scheduled oil change in 13 years or ownership. Anyone have an opinion??????

We traded in two Lexus cars for one new one. Serigne did an awesome job handling the complex transaction. He and the dealership management gave us a deal we felt good about. This is not our first purchase from Lexus Rivercenter and we will likely return. It’s the best Lexus dealer in the region.

It has a lot of road noise and the low profile tires makes feel like you're running on flats you feel everything I'm not happy at all it's nothing like my 2015 highlander no compassion at all!

I get treated like a VIP customer every time. Owning 4 KIAs, I enjoy my experience when taking in my cars for regular maintenance & service. I get treated so well, that I enjoy bringing treats to the service department. Lots of people say they don't like going to dealerships to have their cars serviced, but I wouldn't want to take my car any other place. My last service advisor was Keaton. He did a great job of making me feel completely comfortable.

I bought my 2022 Highlander SE in November 2021 when selections were limited. It was not my first pick after researching and not my preferred color. I financed outside of Toyota and received a much better interest rate and my credit union said I was paying more than a reasonable price. But I was desperate and needed to new vehicle. I will see if the resale value keeps up with current value. So far it has performed well with a slight exception for the all wheel disk brakes. Sometimes I hear noises from the rear when backing out of my driveway when applying brake pressure. Also braking while driving seems a little soft and squirrelly. Just doesn’t feel quite right. The technology options are too numerous to mention and still learning but love the blind spot notification features. Fuel mileage is good compared to my V8 but performance is lacking even with sport drive feature selected. And in reference to one of the other reviews, the console storage is deep but too narrow. Overall I am enjoying my Highlander very much. I haven’t made a road trip in it yet so we will see. I can say it is a great family vehicle for short trips around town where a lot of start stops occur.
