I purchased my 2010 Highlander in March 2011 with 5K miles. I now have 177,377 miles and never had a major repair required. Just replaced spark plugs for second time and should be good for another 75-80K miles. Thinking of trading in-not sure what to do. Oh btw: I’ve never missed a scheduled oil change in 13 years or ownership. Anyone have an opinion??????

Overall a good reliable 3-row SUV, with a comfortable ride, decent trip mileage, and good acceleration (good power train. Negatives are a poorly designed A/C condensor (Rocks kicked up will punture it releasing all the coolant) and very high wind noise at freeway speeds (hard to talk, radio has to be turned up very high).

Large doors and front seats. Easy to get in and out. You have to pull past the protective bollard at the gas pump as to not ding the edge of the door. A lot of safety bells and whistles for an older car. Can tow with the best and high enough to take fishing and hunting. Good power. Feels safe in winter driving with in reason. If it gets icy or the snow gets over 5” I stay home. Operational noise is not annoying even when pulling into traffic or down shifting going up a steep hill. It gets almost 21 miles per gallon. I have no intention of spending thousands more on a vehicle to get better gas mileage. It’s paid off. I’m retired and put about 8000 miles a year on it. It still runs like new. I would love to keep it as long as I can. It also can haul pretty much everything I need.

I traded in my 2016 RAV4 Limited for the Highlander XLE. Primarily for the ride. We had to give up some features such as seat positioning and closeness sensors available on the Rav4. The 2019 Highlander has a V6 that is well reported on and gives us the performance we need. Our ride has definitely improved on the Highlander.

Have had our 2023 Highlander XLE AWD since April 2023. Live in Chicago area and have driven to Arizona and Maine. Zero problems with the car. We put a large Thule box on the roof, multiple mountain bikes on a bike carrier and a kayak. Lots of luggage, got 27 miles per gallon on both trips. Plenty of power in the Rocky Mountains. Would recommend the car to others. We have a great Toyota dealership but all we have needed is schedule maintenance.

We switched from 4Runner to Highlander! Many years of Toyota loyalty in our family. Camrys to Tacoma’s we have had them all. I stole my wife’s 4Runner away from her and replaced it with a 2021 Highlander XSE. It’s been awesome. Bought it brand new. We just hit 65k. We drive from northern Idaho to Scottsdale Az all year and at anytime. Yes, anytime. AWD Snowmobile. It’s awesome in the snow! 22-28 MPG on the Hwy. For those worried about driving a wagon looking vessel around that does not have the great looks of the 4Runner? Don’t worry about it. The XSE has a great looking front end. The XSE Model handles great and boogies. Yes, it’s quick and drives like a sports car. Well, it handles well not quite a sports car. Don’t get the regular Highlander. XSE looks different, has the JBL stereo and drives great. AWD with a Snow Mode. Oh, and it had a third row for little ones. Reliability - been amazing. Zero issues.

I don’t know why my car is rusted under the car what can I do it only used for family trips I love this Highlander it’s only have 50000 mile I enjoy this beautiful car

Worked with Jacob Plont and had a great experience. Called him late afternoon on a Friday with the specific model vehicle I was looking for, he found one at the big Nissan port in San Antonio and Saturday morning he went to pick it up for me. Took care of the finance piece with awesome Karla while Jacob was gone and then left to have lunch and do a little shopping nearby until my car was on their lot. They washed it, filled the tank and Jacob went over a few questions I had about various functions of the car. He was a super nice guy and not the usual pushy salesman type guy - haha. One of the easiest and most pleasant car buying experiences I’ve ever had and I drove off in my new car less than 24 hours after I called looking for what I wanted! Bracken Auto has a lot of low mileage vehicles at fair prices. All of the vehicles there are very decent shape. I went in today to test drive a 1999 Mercury Marquis . I bought it today. Very happy with the staff Beth Brian and the other gale were very nice.

Many problems, but the car drives fine. Got it for cheap as a first car. Already had to put around 3- 4k into it. Fun car

It has a lot of road noise and the low profile tires makes feel like you're running on flats you feel everything I'm not happy at all it's nothing like my 2015 highlander no compassion at all!

I highly recommend Bracken Motors in San Antonio to anyone who wants to buy a vehicle from someone who is both trustworthy and committed to finding customers the right vehicle for them. My low-mileage 2011 Ford Ranger was totaled by a woman driving while on a phone. While trying unsuccessfully to find another good truck to buy, I saw there was a potential one that seemed clean and reasonably priced in San Antonio at Bracken Motors, so I drove a rental there from Austin. The truck turned out to be huge and I didn’t like the crew cab because - especially after my little Ranger - rear visibility wasn’t so easy. However, Mr. Bracken said he would get me something good, and he did not disappoint! He found an F-150 with a regular cab in excellent condition, sold it to me at a price much lower than he could have, and it had even fewer miles than my Ranger had had, plus he had it delivered to me! Throughout the whole process, Mr. Bracken and his assistant were more helpful and much friendlier than any other dealers I had encountered. They took the trouble to locate a great option for me, saved me a lot of time and money, and made the whole experience very pleasant.

I'm driving my highlander til it drops. At 276,000 miles it still drives like new! I'm driving back and forth from Tennessee to Minneapolis 4 to 5 times per year, pulling a trailer! It has never once let me down, I totally trust it.

I bought a 2023 Tundra TRD OR pickup this past weekend. I drove over 4 hours to make this purchase and everything from my first call to driving off the lot was remarkable! My salesman, Roger S was very personable and took the time to make sure everything was ready when I arrived. I was in and out in less than an hour and back on the road to head home. We have the 2022 Limited edition. Love the heated and cooled leather seats, very comfortable. Overall vehicle is very quiet, except on concrete roadway surfaces. The rain sensing wipers don't function as well as the ones we had on our 2019 Rav4. I will say, the 3rd row seats are for young kids or very small flexible adults. Also, front doors need more of an arm rest higher up on the doors. The tri zone heat and cooling is great. I like how the adaptive cruise will even slow you down some when entering curves. The 11 speaker JBL sound system is very good. Overall, the negatives listed are fairly minor issues, because we really enjoy this vehicle and the features. I am disappointed that Toyota will not be offering the v-6 in 2023. I much prefer the smoothness and power and torque curve of the 6 versus the turbo 4. The 8 speed transmission is butter smooth, although the kickdown response could be improved. This is our 4th Toyota and will keep coming back because of the higher quality standards and overall reliability. Also, Toyota seems to listen to customers better and making adjustments or corrections better than a lot of the other auto makers.

This is my second Highlander. The first was a 2008 model and still in the family running great. This model has also served me well. I have 75,000 miles on it. I bought new tires at 60,000 and just had the battery replaced 3 weeks ago. The car runs great!
