Reading some of the reviews here on Cars.com, and I get the impression folks bought the wrong car. This Land Cruiser is perfect. Toyota stripped out luxury, got away from a 90k luxo-barge, and built and off-road SUV. "the ride can be rough/stiff at times"; it's body on frame, for good reason! The suspension articulation, ramp angle, etc... beat the pants of a unibody SUV. "The transmission is jerky..." for a few thousand miles; once it learns your driving style, it smooths out (my '23 Alfa Romeo with the ZF 8-speed did the same thing). Hybrid systems are complex, and once the vehicle learns where you throttle off/on, brake, how firmly you accelerate, it behaves much better. "The hybrid offer rubbish fuel mileage"; first - blame the Federal Govt and CAFE for everyone switching to hybrids. second - if you actually take it off-road, you'll discover the brilliance of having electric motor torque at low speed while crawling... much better low-speed control than even my old LC100 with a V-8. "the interior plastics are cheap"; Toyota made a decision to use long-wearing, durable materials, and keep the cost down, so we could get an excellent off-roader for 55k (a little more than the average selling price of a car in America), instead of 90k (previous gen LC200 luxo-barge). Bottom line, if you want the luxo-barge, get the GX... the V-6 won't work as hard, has a larger tank, it has leather, and a trick suspension that smooths out body-on-frame ride characteristics... if you want a rugged off-roader, without stuff to break, and don't plan on being precious about it... the current gen Land Cruiser is a bargain, checks all the right boxes, and has reliability the Wrangler and Bronco can only dream about.

I found a truck on cars.Com and did the normal thing sending a request to ensure it was available. Mel reached out to me via an email message and mentioned that he would contact me later in the day. I already had pre approved financing at my credit union, so this was a fairly straight forward process. Mel made this process so easy. I'm not a youngster with no experience. This car is an SUV but handle like a middle size car. It is also very safe because allows excellent driver's views of the streets and highways.

I came into the show room ready to have an adversarial relationship with a salesman, the usual hard sell, pressuring and sneaky tactics. Instead, I got a kind soul who simply gave advice about shopping for cars, was fine with me selecting the test route, and was concerned about making sure I had a positive experience. The price on my trade value and the new car were somewhat inflexible, but that is because of their no-haggle pricing which gives their sales team license to actually be humans. I would certainly buy from them.

The sales guys were very helpful and easy to talk with. My husband and I went in with a preapproved loan from USAA, and we talked to the sales guys about the pre approval because we intended on using that financing for the car. When we met with Financing, we were told that they were not accepting payment form USAA as a “company policy.” We wish we were told earlier in the process that our financing would not be accepted. Overall, we love the car and would recommend Bob Moore, just wishing for better communication about the financing.

Upgrading from a 5th gen 4runner and I couldn't have a better SUV. Plenty of hybrid power, very smooth transmission, great acceleration and super comfort features and excellent interiors. Premium package is well worth it, especially 360 camera, safety features, and ventilated leather seats. 5000 miles in two months and no regret at all. Toyota nailed it. If you are looking into an upgrade from a 4Runner and any similar midsize SUV, do not hesitate!

Own 2 Toyota Land Cruisers. OwnED a Range Rover. Land Cruiser far surpasses Land Rover Range Rover in durability, longevity, and value. LC rarely have problems but are easy and affordable to maintain and fix if something happens

This is a great car. Durability and offroad capability are legendary. It is obviously very expensive, but if you have the means and are inclined to get an SUV in this class there is no better choice, unless you are looking for a status symbol, which this is not.

On July 5, 2019, we purchased our 2nd car (2015 Nissan Versa) from Northwest Rides in Port Orchard WA. Our experience with them was a lot easier than our first visit. They have our information in their security system and the waiting period was short. We found the car online, texted and let them know exactly what we wanted. If you are near Aiken you have to stop by their shop. Car Cave has a crazy mix of cool cars and a huge indoor facility. I've never seen anything like it.

One of the best vehicles that I have ever owned or driven. I have owned many nice cars. My last car was an S-Class Mercedes and I wouldn't trade it back for the world. I bought my TLC (Toyota Land Cruiser) in late January and just in time for the snow and ice. The TLC handles so well in the snow and ice that it's easy to forget that the roads were slippery or difficult for most other cars. The inside is open full of leather and wood trim. The navigation (blutooth) makes it easy to forget that it's a mountain/desert ready luxury SUV. I researched this vehicle heavily prior to purchase and asked many customers on forums for their opinions. They all said that it would be the best car that I would ever drive and that it would be my favorite. They were right. It's easy to see why the TLC has such a following in the US. Toyota doesn't make very many of these for sale in the US each year. They are a very good investment for a car because they have such great resale value. An eight or nine year old TLC will retain about half of the original retail value. Mileage doesn't seem to effect resale value as these will often have 200K to 300K miles on them with very low number of issues. TLCs are built so solid that they are almost overbuilt with many redundancies in features of luxury and safety.

He also gave me great advice on what to do with the vehicle in terms of restoration work that would save me money and time in the long run, while still making sure I would get the best work done on the vehicle. I liked the Toyota Land Cruiser so much I purchased two in a row! All aspects of this vehicle are incredible....except the MPG. I got 11. Unacceptable, unless you have a money tree. I had a bunch of babies, no money tree.
