Used Toyota Land Cruiser for sale near Redington Shores, FL

Bought My first car today and the employees we're amazing very polite and helpful. Sometimes buying a car can be stressful but I really enjoy myself and couldn't be happier.

Reading some of the reviews here on Cars.com, and I get the impression folks bought the wrong car. This Land Cruiser is perfect. Toyota stripped out luxury, got away from a 90k luxo-barge, and built and off-road SUV. "the ride can be rough/stiff at times"; it's body on frame, for good reason! The suspension articulation, ramp angle, etc... beat the pants of a unibody SUV. "The transmission is jerky..." for a few thousand miles; once it learns your driving style, it smooths out (my '23 Alfa Romeo with the ZF 8-speed did the same thing). Hybrid systems are complex, and once the vehicle learns where you throttle off/on, brake, how firmly you accelerate, it behaves much better. "The hybrid offer rubbish fuel mileage"; first - blame the Federal Govt and CAFE for everyone switching to hybrids. second - if you actually take it off-road, you'll discover the brilliance of having electric motor torque at low speed while crawling... much better low-speed control than even my old LC100 with a V-8. "the interior plastics are cheap"; Toyota made a decision to use long-wearing, durable materials, and keep the cost down, so we could get an excellent off-roader for 55k (a little more than the average selling price of a car in America), instead of 90k (previous gen LC200 luxo-barge). Bottom line, if you want the luxo-barge, get the GX... the V-6 won't work as hard, has a larger tank, it has leather, and a trick suspension that smooths out body-on-frame ride characteristics... if you want a rugged off-roader, without stuff to break, and don't plan on being precious about it... the current gen Land Cruiser is a bargain, checks all the right boxes, and has reliability the Wrangler and Bronco can only dream about.

Owned my 1997 Land Cruiser for 12 years. Never felt me stranded, very reliable. The three factory installed lockers are great for driving in snow, ice, mud, etc. Repairs are expensive compared to a Corrola, but much less than a BMW or Mercedes. Not sure why people complain on a $800 Land Cruiser valve cover seal replacement but are ok to pay $4000 for the same job on a BMW at the dealers. The Land Cruiser will last for ever. Hold its value. Many have reached the 300,000 miles. I have seen a Land Cruiser with 750,000 miles, original engine and transmission. Says a lot about its quality and durability.

I worked with Ryan Tanski trading my 46 Ford Coupe for 70 Cutlass Convertible. I was giving what I felt was a fair price for my car. Overall the deal went down without a problem. Ryan was very good to work with. I got my Cutlass today and all is okay, no surprises at all. I would do the whole thing all over again. Purchased my Land Cruiser with 100,000 miles on it. I called the previous owner to ask him some questions and he told me if I ever wanted to sell it, let him know because he wished he hadn't traded it in. What a beauty. Dark maroon burgundy. Best paint job I had ever had on a truck/car. I loved the whole experience. I sold it because I moved where I needed a little bit more economical vehicle. It was a little thirsty, but then it was a very heavy truck. Capable of going half a million miles with that engine. Many have I understand.

The attention to detail when showing me vehicles was impressive. I felt well-informed while purchasing my 2016 Ford Explorer!

I have a 1998 Land Cruiser (that my father owned before me) with about 335,000 miles on it (no joke) and it still looks great!! Neither one of us had any (major) problems with it. I love it and will be sad to see it go...whenever that is.

Bought a2008used. Previously owned a2004, The 2004 seemed more solid, also the third row seats were completely removable in the 2004.but are not in the 2008 and after. This makes the 2008 less useful for hauling stuff, why on earth would Toyota think it was a good idea to make those seats unremovable? The rear side windows used to open, a nice touch, gone in the 08. I think Toyota is targeting this car for suburbia now, more than the plains of Africa or off roaming in general.
