Used Toyota RAV4 for sale near Maricopa Colony, AZ

Started looking for a 2023 Highlander hybrid eight months ago. Tried every single Toyota dealer in the Phoenix area. Only Tommy at Avondale would sell a car at MSRP. We gave him a $500 fully refundable deposit, told him exactly what we wanted, and he stayed with us. Finally our car came through, and the transaction was the smoothest I have ever experienced with a dealer. Fast, efficient, and completely honest. We didn't see anybody but Tommy. He handled everything. Four weeks ago he gave me an oral indication of what our 2019 Highlander would be worth in trade, subject to inspection. He gave us the higher end of what all the bluebooks said the car was worth in trade, and THOUSANDS more than Tempe Toyota offered. And he honored the price when he saw the car for the first time when we consummated the transaction. My wife drives nothing but Toyotas and we will never buy one from anybody but this dealer and this man.

I went from a corolla cross le gas model to a rav 4 hybrid le and there is a major difference in the size and road noise. I love the gas mileage in the rav 4 hybrid. The cabin is very quiet in the rav 4 hybrid. I am glad to recommend the rav 4 hybrid over the corolla cross le gas model.

During the past thirty (30) year, I've bought 30-40 brand new vehicles, including but not limited to, Lexus Sedans & SUV, Mercedes Benz, Cadillac (many), Chevrolet Corvette, trucks: Ford Platinum, Chevrolet, Dodge and GMC. The person who helped me at Avondale Toyota was Mr. Leonardo "Leo" Alvarez -- Leo is a straight shooter, no games, he didn't "turn" me to someone to start over -- a very pleasant transaction! In addition, Leo helped me program my iphone with my Prius--very helpful!!! What's more, from the beginning of our conversation & transaction, everything Leo stated to me occurred--no hiccups, no stories, no excuses!! I cannot stand excuses!!! Many dealerships will draw-in customers, switch the prospective buyer either to a lease, or sell the vehicle to another customer--this doesn't happen at Avondale Toyota!! I live in San Diego, CA (although originally from Phoenix), Prius' sell quickly in California, and unscrupulous California Toyota Dealerships will sell the car to who will pay the most! So, I decided to check-out Arizona Toyota delearships because gasoline is less expensive. Leo could have used my circumstances against me to justify charging me more, or selling to another--but he didn't!! Leo is a stand-up sales manage! Since, I've returned to San Diego, drove my 2025 Prius, easy drive, lot's of performance!! I can't say enough good things!!! Great Car! I bought used only 10,000 miles. Lots of room inside, easy to keep clean, and great turning radius - barely use one hand to turn completely around. I see people turning with 2 hands and leaning! Not the Rav - you just guide it. Always starts, low idle, quiet, and everything adjustable. I had another Rav, and I won't change now.

Worked with salesman for a few days trying to trade in a car and buy one of theirs. Not too bad overall, but could not get a decent price for my trade. Stopped communicating presumably because my offer was not good enough. Would probably try again with different and more responsive sales person.

2018 Rav4 was totaled by someone who ran a stop sign. Miss this car every day. Every single airbag went off and me and the other passenger were safe and able to walk away alive. Thankful for this car.

I've had my 2020 rav4 le for several months & bought it used with 1 owner. Absolutely love it. Only complaint is 2 tiny copper clips fell out of drivers side mirror & now whenever I go to the carwash, the mirror buckles all the way fwd, then all the way backwards. It's a common problem. Other than that, beautiful car inside/out.

I’ve had this SUV for 1 1/2 years. I love it! Is is fun and easy to drive. It is comfortable and has adequate space for 4 passengers. We sometimes haul 5, but the backseat gets tight for that. Mine is getting approximately 29 mpg on midgrade fuel. Love the pushbutton start, lane keep assist, blind spot monitor, controls on steering wheel, rear hatch open and shut buttons, hands free talk, and huge display screen. Toyota could do better with the door handle touch to lock and unlock. Mine don’t work as well as expected. It also has a very annoying ding to warn when the roads may be icy that we apparently cannot turn off. I gave 4 stars instead of 5 on performance due to acceleration rate. It makes big noise like it’s going somewhere, but doesn’t really accelerate exceptionally well. It also shifts oddly sometimes. I notice it mostly when you slow down, but don’t stop ( think yield sign). It will jerk pretty hard when you accelerate from low speed. Overall it is a great little SUV with many bells and whistles for it’s price point. It feels very safe and reliable.

Drove this '22 Rav4 throughout the US SW for over 3000 miles in 2 weeks without any problems and averaged 30+ mpg. Went through CO, UT, NV, CA, AZ, NM. Pleasant to drive and certainly comfortable enough. I have no complaints at the moment, and it doesn't have the CVT!

2022 Toyota RAV4 LE. I purchased this SUV new in 2022. It is the second RAV4 in our family of two. My wife purchased her 2018 RAV4 Hybrid limited new in 2018. She has depended on and enjoyed her SUV for 4 years now. Her experience influenced my decisions to buy a Toyota RAV4.

I purchased a 2007 Acura TL sight unseen, I don't think I'll ever take that risk again. Mechanically great, visually not so great. I was caught off guard that the car was delivered too quickly. It would be nice if somebody gave me a heads up. I had to leave work just so I can meet the delivery driver. I just want to express my frustration though. I thought the car was going to be detailed before it got shipped to me. I was hoping that the car would be nice and clean when I show it to my son. Also, it wasn't disclosed to me that there were cracks in the windshield. On the plus side, the price was fair, the transaction as a whole was painless. It was a pleasure to deal with this dealership. I just wished the car was delivered cleaner. Now I will have a reason to bust out the Harly's Carnuba wax. and the leather conditioners. The car is fine so far, no pulling on the freeway, it's faster than heck, braking and handling are awesome. Plenty of tread on the Michelin tires, the Carfax was clean, 1 owner, no wrecks, extremely low mileage for the year, and the timing belt was changed twice already. Either the old couple that traded the car in were fanatics about the maintenance, or the Acura Dealership in Peoria was ripping them off. I do see Jeeps in my area with Larry H Miller plates driving around here. So I know he is selling/delivering cars here in Nor-Cal, which is cool to see. The dealerships here in Marin are absolute crooks.

Excellent car, excellent service. I have a custom built RAV4 Limited so I paid a bit more than the MSRP for a standard RAV4 but it was worth every cent. This is my first SUV and my third Toyota. I really can’t say enough good things about it. It’s about the same size as most compact SUVs but it has plenty of room inside and is quite comfortable. The features are unreal. It does everything except drive itself but it will stop itself if you’re about to hit something. :) I’ve only had it about a month but based on my other Toyotas I hope I’ll have this one years to come. I gave my 2003 Camry to a friend and it is still running!

Great car overall but have have had problems with radio/screen. Needed to go back to dealer to reboot. As a current owner of now 2 Toyotas only disappointment was service.

Our salesperson Kim was wonderful! We started online then made an appointment to meet and test drive. The best part she was not pushy and very accommodating with our requests. Very knowledgeable, personable and relatable. Freddy the Finance Manager was also very personable. He explained everything very well and once again did not push us into spending more than we needed to.

I purchased a new 21 Limited with the Advanced Tech package And Limited Grade All Weather package. Its very very loud under acceleration. The highway pavement noise and wind noise are barely tolerable. I have a bad back the seats are fantastic and I have a bad back they are great on long trips. Constantly Averaging 28mpg it’s dependable and I know it will hold its value.

They wanted us to be very satisfied with our decision. After viewing our choices they found a car that we were happy with and placed the order. Never any pressure to buy. That was our choice. Bought new in 2018, have replaced battery and tires in 40000 miles. Been reliable but expected better gas mileage. 29 mpg hwy only 16 mpg in town.

After purchase I immediately took the car on an 800 mile road trip. It is much more comfortable and rides more smoothly than our older RAV4 and had plenty of pep for highway driving. Averaged over 37 MPG at highway speed of 70-80 MPH. Would have liked a power hatchback but overall I’m very satisfied with the options that came with it as an LE model.
