This vehicle seems to be an outstanding vehicle for its class. The only reason that I'm not giving it five stars for comfort is that it rides like a truck -- which is what its supposed to be, but quite comfortable for a truck. The other four star rating I gave it was because it was not available with a manual transmission. Again, it's a truck, not a car and trucks, as working vehicles should be available with a manual transmission -- but people today don't want to actually have to DRIVE a vehicl.

I bought a 2019 Tacoma with 89k. So far performance is fantastic and can definitely experience the quality build. This has made me skeptical of the reviews about poor engine build and transmission problems like hunting for gears. Can't pretty much dispel the proven track record of the 2019 as one of Toyota best build of the year. As for the transmission, it is still the best performing and reliable 6 speed transmission as compared to the other brands with high failure rates. One of the reason I stick with Toyota because I once had another brand manufacturer bought new and as soon as it hit over 100k, transmission problems or some solenoid problem. As for the engine, the dealer even included a lifetime engine warranty. That just tells me, they never expect the engine to fail. the review with the engine knocking sounds like an another brand car. it just doesn't happen to a toyota.

So far I am very pleased with my Toyota Tacoma, it is more than I expected and the biggest surprise is the low interior noise and the smooth ride. I was able to go down to south Florida (Pembroke Pine area with my three kid and they enjoyed the ride. Every time we are going some where they want me to take the Tacoma instead of my wife Honda mini van.

I just purchased a gorgeous used Lexus RX350 from Jack Giamblavo Mazda. My sales consultant was William Seiler, and we initially corresponded through email. He was friendly and courteous and not pushy. When I requested if he could send me additional pictures of the car he did as quickly as possible. Any questions I asked he answered promptly, and he would check back to make sure I received what I requested. Some time went by, due to a death in my immediate family and also the distance from the dealership to my home, in Vineland, was a 2.5+hr drive; which I was reluctant to drive. After a few weeks William reached out to me again, to see if I was still interested, or if I had purchased another vehicle in the interim. It was just the the nudge I needed to move forward. I called him and we reviewed the details to move froward and he shared with me, that his Mother's name was Carolee as well! I was quite surprised ...this is a very uncommon name. My husband and I, along with William, made a deal, to purchase the car and have them deliver it. William fulfilled our request to do a video, go around, of the interior and exterior of the car and to reveal any blemishes. He did that within a couple hours and a contract was drawn up. Papers to sign and get notarized were overnighted to us, and we overnighted our payment. Everything went smoothly. The 2 gentlemen, I believe, were Ron and Rick?, that drove the car to us, were very courteous and friendly. Thank you William! Was looking for a mid-size truck to replace a big Chevy Silverado 1500 Z71 and a small 90's model Chevy S-10 pickup. Was interested in the new gen Nissan Frontier but went with the Tacoma. My first ever Tacoma truck. A 2022 SR with the V-6 motor and SX package. Purchased it used with about 9,000 miles on it. Overall I really like the size and style of the vehicle. The previous owner put a leveling kit and wheel spaces on it. As well as 285 AT tires. It has that go anywhere look. And while it has the power, the tranny is lackluster. And it rides like a truck which is good and bad. I've had a lot of compliments on it so it's obvious there are a lot of Taco fans out there. I got it at a fair deal and you just can't beat the reliability factor. Probably won't be my last Tacoma because this one meets or exceeds most all my expectations. Happy camper here!

I fit real well in this truck . I like the gas mileage and it is awesome. The color fits me and l like 4 wheel drive. The truck works good in the snow and handles extremely well.

Love the personality of the reps and they are always eager to help! They don't push you into buying more than your original budget and won't bother you about it! They also will let u browse the lot on you own, and all there cars are unlocked! I absolutely love there transfer program where they will transfer vehicles to your local stores without an obligation, and many transfers are free! Only complaint about Carmax is that I feel the cars are a bit overpriced, but it's worth it in the end for there customer service!

Perfect truck. Best all around pick-up truck. Good off road, great gas mileage. Cheap insurance, awesome looking, good towing, decent load capacity, seats 4 comfortably. Rides great.

I bought this truck new after major styling change in Tacomas and traded in a 2008 Tacoma SR 5 and getting back 88% of what I paid for new in 2008. I've had no problems with this 2016 so far and never did with 2008 except fir window washer issue.

This truck gets crappy gas mileage. Supposed to get 16 mpg city 24 mpg hwy but really only gets about 12-14 mpg in city and 18 to 20 mpg on hwy with crappy ethanol gas. When I was using no ethanol gas in great state of FL I was getting 16 to 18 mpg in city and 22 to 24 mpg on hwy. But I am now in CA so I am getting crappy mpg. I will be moving back to FL in a year.

My 2010 had 317,000 miles when I bought my 2021. I absolutely love the changes that toyota has made. My 2021 is a perfect truck for comfort and reliability.

Great little truck. will pretty much do all you need. Although comfort and engine are very lackluster. If you're tall, 6' and up. Buy the seat jackers you will need them. Autostart is very clunky as the engine shuts off when you open the door (so basically the same wear and tear as AutoStart/stop). the toyota app is not even on the table if you don't pay the subscription.

I love my Tacoma 4x4 , I have over 208,000,000 miles on it. Great performance and pulling power up and down the mountains of Colorado often towing a trailer. Something alot of owners don't think about is the paint job, after all these years it still has a new car shine on it . Some cars with a whole lot less years maybe rusted out or clear coat is peeling. Not mine. Of course we have to mention the reliability of this Truck. Its a Toyota! Never had any major issues ,just basic maintenance, oil changes,brakes, filters. 6-16-23. I am having issues with my (a/c heater) blower knob, it's been hard to turn but still works along with the air conditioner. The interior is OK. It's a truck, the upholstery is still holding up good a little dirty but still very much intact. If Toyota would only realize that we like to drink larger cups then the cup holders the give us ( one of the few things I don't like about it) Lots of foot room for my 6'2" frame. The bed is small for carrying long items so probably not for the full time contractor. But gets the job done if you know how to pack. I'm very satisfied with my purchase made many years ago and how well the resale value has held up compared to other vehicles.

Purchased this truck for it's reliablity.Opted for a SR5 trim because it's not lifted nor branded with stickers. Have 44-k miles now. No issues. Just scheduled factory maintenance. I plan to run this truck well over 300-k miles. Is it perfect? No. The engine is somewhat lack luster, the gas milesage is just okay and the interior is somewhat small compared to a full size truck. however,However, I trust this truck to serve me well into the future without any major issues.

Purchased this truck new ten years ago, four door, six foot bed, towing package- fuel mileage is not the best (16mpg avg) due to the towing gear ratio, however I tow a lot of boats up to 22 feet and have never had a problem. Currently have 80,000 miles with only routine manufacturer recommended maintenance. Only negative, my wife finds the truck too long (19 feet) for the mall parking spaces.

This is my 3rd Toyota truck 2022 (5th Toyota) I’ve only had this for a week and so far I’m loving the way it drives. All the plastic on interior, not so much. It looks okay but feel cheap. My biggest complaint so far is the all the cup holders are a tad to small for my water bottle, which I take everywhere I go and the color options in the model I wanted. I may have to ask my grandson to trade me back for my 2002 model or perhaps trade up when the new one comes out… we’ll see
