Was looking for a mid-size truck to replace a big Chevy Silverado 1500 Z71 and a small 90's model Chevy S-10 pickup. Was interested in the new gen Nissan Frontier but went with the Tacoma. My first ever Tacoma truck. A 2022 SR with the V-6 motor and SX package. Purchased it used with about 9,000 miles on it. Overall I really like the size and style of the vehicle. The previous owner put a leveling kit and wheel spaces on it. As well as 285 AT tires. It has that go anywhere look. And while it has the power, the tranny is lackluster. And it rides like a truck which is good and bad. I've had a lot of compliments on it so it's obvious there are a lot of Taco fans out there. I got it at a fair deal and you just can't beat the reliability factor. Probably won't be my last Tacoma because this one meets or exceeds most all my expectations. Happy camper here!

Great little truck. will pretty much do all you need. Although comfort and engine are very lackluster. If you're tall, 6' and up. Buy the seat jackers you will need them. Autostart is very clunky as the engine shuts off when you open the door (so basically the same wear and tear as AutoStart/stop). the toyota app is not even on the table if you don't pay the subscription.

This is my 3rd Toyota truck 2022 (5th Toyota) I’ve only had this for a week and so far I’m loving the way it drives. All the plastic on interior, not so much. It looks okay but feel cheap. My biggest complaint so far is the all the cup holders are a tad to small for my water bottle, which I take everywhere I go and the color options in the model I wanted. I may have to ask my grandson to trade me back for my 2002 model or perhaps trade up when the new one comes out… we’ll see

I came to Acura of Peoria looking for a specific used vehicle from their website. We were greeted by Victoria, a new salesperson of the dealership. She was very friendly and pleasant and showed us the vehicle quickly. We went on a short drive and began the purchase process. Since Victoria was new, she had help through the process from some of the other staff, all of whom were also very friendly and helpful after Victoria introduced them. They went above and beyond to make the transaction quick and stress free and explained all the paperwork I needed to fill out. I was driving my “new to me” vehicle off the lot in about 2 hours. Purchased this truck for it's reliablity.Opted for a SR5 trim because it's not lifted nor branded with stickers. Have 44-k miles now. No issues. Just scheduled factory maintenance. I plan to run this truck well over 300-k miles. Is it perfect? No. The engine is somewhat lack luster, the gas milesage is just okay and the interior is somewhat small compared to a full size truck. however,However, I trust this truck to serve me well into the future without any major issues.

I bought my 2017 in spring of 2020 with 27k miles for $27k. I was specifically looking for a TRD Sport, manual trans. The Tacoma is the only manual trans truck produced anymore. I currently have 80k miles on it now and the blue book still shows it at $23k-$24k. I have not had any issues with it. I have done my own maintenance (oil changes and just recently front brake pads). The 2017 was the last year before they added all the safety stuff with the cruise controls. I'm glad I don't have that stuff. I also have the map system in my factory head unit and don't have to rely on the Apple carplay or Android auto apps. There was some discomfort in the seat. It was easily resolved with items that can be purchased to adjust the seat to your liking. There are a lot of complaints on the power and fuel mileage. Really?? Its a truck. Its not a sports car or compact sedan. Its not going to get the greatest mileage or set land speed records. If you want something that always starts, never leaves you stranded, and you can count on everyday, this is the one. If you want something that you want to spend a bunch of money repairing, you may want to look elsewhere.

Had an urgent service appointment. Mike scheduled my vehicle with a favorable time and date. The work was complete and ready for me to pick up much earlier that expected. I would recommend Mike to anyone for their vein or service needs!!!

I love my Tacoma. I've always been a GMC person, but wasn't happy with their smaller pickup options. I made the jump to a Tacoma and I've already driven it across the country. I was very comfortable, extremely happy with performance.

They had the car I was thinking on, but,ended up buying from a different place only because it had a sun roof in the color I wanted.

The only problem in this truck is no power seat and heater control only does one side . Real view mirror is to small . Other than that great truck !!

Quick response; salesperson accommodated my schedule. Test drive was average length. I knew more about the car than the sales person did but it was an exotic car so that is understandable

Perfect truck. Best all around pick-up truck. Good off road, great gas mileage. Cheap insurance, awesome looking, good towing, decent load capacity, seats 4 comfortably. Rides great.

Our salesperson Kim was wonderful! We started online then made an appointment to meet and test drive. The best part she was not pushy and very accommodating with our requests. Very knowledgeable, personable and relatable. Freddy the Finance Manager was also very personable. He explained everything very well and once again did not push us into spending more than we needed to.

I bought a 2019 Tacoma with 89k. So far performance is fantastic and can definitely experience the quality build. This has made me skeptical of the reviews about poor engine build and transmission problems like hunting for gears. Can't pretty much dispel the proven track record of the 2019 as one of Toyota best build of the year. As for the transmission, it is still the best performing and reliable 6 speed transmission as compared to the other brands with high failure rates. One of the reason I stick with Toyota because I once had another brand manufacturer bought new and as soon as it hit over 100k, transmission problems or some solenoid problem. As for the engine, the dealer even included a lifetime engine warranty. That just tells me, they never expect the engine to fail. the review with the engine knocking sounds like an another brand car. it just doesn't happen to a toyota.

In the hills of Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Virginia or anywhere there’s a big hill/mountain do not expect engine performance. It’s get up and go is gone!

I was in the market for a small truck. I've owned lots of Hondas over the years with great success but I didn't like the way the Ridgeline looked. I knew Tacomas were known for reliability and resale value. I bought the off road model and so far, so good after a year and a half. I paid stcker price when they were selling for 2 or 3k over MSRP. It's probably still worth as much as I paid.

Going to any dealership - especially for service - can be overwhelming … I often feel I get mistaken for being a child and or portrayed as being naive and sometimes it is reflected in how I’m treated in service driven industries … Recently I took my brand new vehicle in for service and Chris was hands down, one of the best service experiences I have ever had. I have driven Toyota’s most of my adult life. I cannot say anything bad about them. They are wonderful cars, and that has been my experience. I know a reputable owner of a used car dealership and he said that at my age (68), if I buy a Toyota pickup they will drive my family to my funeral in it. He said that it will outlast me, and I believe him! I just bought the Tacoma, and it runs great, but it only had 13,000 miles on it! They all run good when they’re new, but judging from past experience, it will be great also.

I had my annual service visit on my RX350 and was promptly greeted by Todd Sparlin at write up. He was thorough in explaining the options available to me, quickly established the service process in detail, and once completed reviewed everything with my upon checkout. The new 4th Gen taco. It took some time to grow on me. But the style is much better then other mid size trucks on the market. It's great truck for what you need to do with it. With the massive 14 inch screen all new digital dashboard. New interior seats. Nice wide body shape. And it handles extremely well on the roads. Sure I wish Toyota would have made the rear leg room little wider. And added a step to the bed area. But overall it's a great a truck. The performance of the stock 2.4 turbo charge engine will move the truck.

My 2010 had 317,000 miles when I bought my 2021. I absolutely love the changes that toyota has made. My 2021 is a perfect truck for comfort and reliability.

They were able to get the truck we wanted at the price I was looking for. The deal was as expected. No surprises, except I had expected more for my tradeins. We closed the deal anyway as I felt they were treating us well, and the price was probably better than most dealerships. Finance was straightforward, and we appreciated that.

After 15 years with my previous Tacoma TRD Offroad, I bought the same vehicle to replace it. I really wasn't ready to replace it but the 24's don't excite me with the 4 cylinder turbo and I figured the longer I wait, the harder it would be to find a discontinued 6 cylinder in new condition. I got lucky and found a 3 month old 23 with 1,400 miles on it. I think Toyota screwed up with the 24 models, they cheapened them in many ways, crap engine, thinner frame, less underbody protection. Basically, they made them for people who don't want or need a truck but like the image.

Service tech was friendly and got me in even though I didn?t have an appointment. The wait wasn?t long and the price was reasonable. I will be coming back from now for service on my truck. Great atmosphere, friendly staff and fast reliable service.

Appearance of the Sport TRD is great, so far reliability is great. Fun to drive, my only complaint is lack of an area to place your phone or small items other than the console box. Back seat leg room leaves a little to be desired. Overall great truck. My first Tacoma, prior I had two Tundras, also great trucks

This was the easiest experience I have had getting a lease. I called Maverick Brock to check inventory on a car and he was prompt and very helpful. I got a car the next morning.

Remote connect is cool. But it does not reporting your windows are open. Secondly if the car has started remotely and you open the doors. Car shuts off. They say it’s a safety feature. It’s not because I’m 2024 models that problem is not present

Worked with salesman for a few days trying to trade in a car and buy one of theirs. Not too bad overall, but could not get a decent price for my trade. Stopped communicating presumably because my offer was not good enough. Would probably try again with different and more responsive sales person.
