My situation must have been the most difficult situation ever at a Carmax, even though it was tough and the Managers and Myself got frustrated at times Ed, Dave, Eric, and Chris (Carmax Charleston Managers) never gave up on me and worked hard to make this thing happen. I came to them looking for my dream car, the Mitsubishi Lancer RalliArt or Evolution on a limited budget. They found the vehicle and brought it in, I bought the vehicle and there were a few problems with it, the guys took the car back no questions asked and found another one, even though there were some other issues that occured the Management staff at Carmax stuck by me and helped me make it happen. Anyone new to the car buying process should go see the team at Carmax, Charleston, as they will guide you through the process and explain it to you the whole way through! I was nearing the end of my lease of another type of vehicle that was more affordable than my previous. I went to Stokes VW and fell in love with the Tiguan. Thankfully, they walked me thru how to properly end my lease on good standing - which I just turned in yesterday. Alex was my sales person and he's a VW lover, he knows his stuff. Also, they truly care about getting you into a car and they don't hang over your credit score over your head.

Van, tank you for all your help and whoever else was involved. We purchased a new vehicle and without going into to much detail there was an issue with the vehicle that we did not notice right away. A week later we called and advised them of the problem. Without any run around we were advised to bring it back and they would take care of the issue. They advised that it would take about a week. Three days later Van called and advised that the vehicle was ready. We arrived and found that the problem had been taken care of. No headaches. Thanks Van once again for all you have done for us. I will send everyone looking for a vehicle to you and I know that they will be taken care of.

Great experience! Purchased my second vehicle yesterday from this establishment. Caleb had the vehicle waiting on me when I arrived and showed me every bell and whistle it had. Another sales guy Chris showed amazing hospitality while I was there. Jose in finance was well organized we got in and out. Easily made an appointment on their website. I was greeted as I walked in & helped right away. They have a very nice waiting area. A soft drink machine, coffee area and snacks while you wait. Their dealership is very clean as well as the bathroom. I do recommend this dealership for your repair needs as well as if you're looking for a new vehicle.
