I talked to Damon for a week about a Volkswagen car and he gave me all the information I need. I am living in the Houston area, so he kept in touch with me during the week to let me know that the car was still available for sale. He added $15 for the test drive out of his pocket so that i try the car. He was friendly and approachable during the transaction as well, and he was answered all the questions I had, without being annoyed. I recommend him and Hertz Car Sales.

I've owned VW's off and on for years. My first Jetta was purchased in the 90's. Good car. It was nimble, comfortable and had really good gas mileage. It was different from the "Bug" and "Bus" but quite pleasing to own and look at. My current Jetta is a 2020 model year and I enjoy its looks, comfort, mileage and nimbleness. Volkswagens are truly the "peoples car".

This is a great place. I personally recommend working with Kelly in sales and Malcolm in finance. Blake in finance is also good but new to the finance department so Malcolm would be your best option. I left a very negative review after I felt like I had been completely taken advantage of by them on Saturday and was on the hook for a loan worth twice what the car was worth brand new. They completely took care of me and I got into a different car that was the same make and model but cheaper. My deal went from 34,000 total to 20,000 total after reworking it. I will say they want to add lots of stuff into the deal. It isn't necessarily bad but it adds up and I was unwilling to accept that. They will try to keep all or some of it on and if you don't want it then fight for the price you want and read the website to know their policies and guarantees. I will also leave this as a disclaimer, I would be selective about what salesperson you work with. My Mom overheard one of the guys complaining about how he was one sale away from a bonus and some lady wasted two hours of his time and backed it because she was incompetent. I saw the lady he was talking about and she was older and said very clearly she had someone waiting on her for some time now and could not stay longer. I also briefly worked with some other guy in the finance department who was pretty rude and I didn't enjoy that. I don't remember his name though. Kelly is a genuine person and a great saleswoman. You can trust her. It seems like some of the staff are a little more money focused and trying to help themselves more than the customer so beware. I also want to point out one of the managers introduced himself to me and was very kind. Also very apologetic over how things went the first day and I really appreciated it. Good place and some really good people. I had some mixed feelings with this experience but the likes of Malcolm, Kelly, and Blake and how they handled making things right with me overwhelmingly changed my overall experience to a positive--hence the 5 star review. Usually, when you have a bad outcome, people bash the service provider, but not in this case. I wasn't able to get approved without a down payment for a car. But I would like to take out the time and Thank Marcus England from the upmost, for the outstanding customer service, he has been giving me for the past 2 weeks. If you ever need a car, with challenging credit, please contact CarMax Fort worth. Marcus and the fantastic Finance team tried very hard to get me approved. Great experience! Why waste your time with the big dealerships and sit around for hours! Manuel had me approved online in less then 30 minutes. Easy term financing with a bank, not to mention I didn’t have the best credit. Mike got me approved for the Passat I wanted and Kristi was great with insurance. I would definitely recommend this dealership to anyone looking for an easy car buying experience.

I purchased my 2019 Jetta R-Line brand new with 27 miles on the odometer in June of 2020. As of this review I have owned the vehicle nearly 5 years. My car now has 57,000 miles on it. I have never experienced any mechanical failures. The vehicle still has the factory battery, brake pads, and rotors. I have only replaced the tires and cabin air filter. Aside from that, routine maintenance including oil changes every 7,500 miles (despite VW calling for 10k interval), and flushing the coolant and brake fluids around 50k miles. My car is comfortable albeit a little small for a man of my stature. It's excellent on gas and handles like a dream. I have gotten compliments on it's looks since day one. The cold weather package is excellent and essential up here in the northeast. I paid 20k for the car brand new and its proven to be an excellent value. My only complaints, the stock sound system is not horrible but it's not great. Also, the driver seat is beginning to have cracks in the leather. I'm very satisfied with this vehicle. I hope this one lasts a while but I will check out VW first for my next vehicle purchase.

So my Habenero orange R Line is named Princess... she is quick when she needs to be, and eco mode is there for when she doesn't. Gas mileage is fantastic either way. She is so responsive, the handling on her is top notch. I've put a LOT of miles on her, I think upwards of 50k without a single mechanical failure. A few accidents, the front collision sensor is a pain to replace but I like in a bumper car city, unfortunately.

Cleanest used car I've ever purchased anywhere. They take better care of their cars than most people I know do. Sales are not pushy and they ride with you when doing the test drive so I don't have to fool with GPS to return. Lots of paperwork as always, but finance guy took care of things quickly and efficiently. Really nice experience all around. Will definitely buy again from Hertz.
