Have owned 3 240 series Volvos plus 3 other models and inherited my mother's 1989 244 DL sedan with over drive in 2003 automatic ...today, 7/19/23, car is still going strong, 261K miles, 25-28 mpg!!🥰🥰

1988 Volvo 240 review
This car is comfortable to drive, the interior fits nice. It's built so solid that in an accident I have no worries. And the thing will run forever with just proper maintenance. Todays cars are built for obsolence instead of durability. Also, they all begin to look alike after awhile. The styles of the 50's - 60's and 70's were classy and stylish. A lost art by todays Manufacturers.
