This is my fifth Volvo. My most important feature in any car is safety, and this car is SAFE. It is super comfortable, reliable, attractive, and an all around great car. I had XC70's until this XC90. It was tough to switch, but I'm so happy. My only disappointment is that I have two big dogs and they can't both fit in the way back comfortably, so I have a crate in the way back and a crate in the middle with two seats folded down (one up for a passenger). Otherwise, it's a "10." No issues at all at 4 years in.

I have bad credit.. and was turned down from alot of different dealers Marino, Hawk,Naperville and Shermans.. all said No.. but Carmax have me thre car I wanted wth super low miles.. I loved my XC90 but traded it due to the cost of fuel. I drive 40 miles a day roundtrip to work. I would easily go through a tank of gas in four days. Best mileage I ever got was about 22 highway. The XC90 is a heavy SUV and shaped like a block. Not a lot of aerodynamics. As for comfort and luxury you can't go wrong the XC 90 is pure luxury and has great pickup and handling. Just be aware the mileage is not good.

Volvo is known for safety and this one delivers with all the latest safety features. But it also adds performance with a combination of supercharging for power off the line, with turbocharging to add power in mid range. Together they deliver performance similar to a V8 with a lot better mpg. The interior is very modern and tasteful. Seats very comfortable. We opted for the air suspension system which really makes a difference in our area with rough roads. I'd recommend it to anyone. Also added the high performance sound system from Bowers and Wilkins. I did not think I wanted to pay up for it, but once I heard it I couldn't pass it up. Many great tech features like Pilot Assist (auto drive), cross traffic alert, adaptive cruise control, auto park, etc. Recommend the T6 level powertrain, the Air Suspension, and if you can swing it, the Bowers and Wilkins sound system.

Dealt with this CarMax dealer over the phone and email. Tried to negotiate a price based on other dealers in the area for the same vehicle and was told that the price listed was the price you pay!

We have owned various cars in past to include Chevrolet (Monte Carlo), Cadillac’s Deville/Eldorado), BMW’s (740i/740IL) and Volvo’s (240/244/V70) and now 2018 Volvo SUV XC90 T5. So far the XC90 out performs all of them with respect to comfort, ride, safety features and even gas economy is very good for size/weight of vehicle. Only draw back is premium gas required for this car but I have used mid range on/off and no noticeable loss of performance. Also most people that have seen our XC 90 make positive comments on color, wheels, interior, storage space, etc. Also purchased the T5 model with 7 seats for the family and three grandkids. Excellent SUV for the past 4 yrs (35k road miles). Recently purchased an Endurance extended warranty to 133k/5 yrs. We expect to drive this SUV like other Volvo’s 150k miles or more.

Great awesome cars in every aspect, comfort, performance, handling, smoothness, features, reliability (not in some models though) and especially safety. You get the best bang for your buck in Volvos. Only thing I would say is to stay away from the XC90 T6 (petrol engines) from 2015 - 2016. (Not sure if 2017 has these problems, as I havnt experienced anything from the 2017 models) I sell many of these Volvos But the petrol XC90s T6 from 2015 - 2016 are very unreliable because of being the first year of these models when they first came out. Had many experiences with failing superchargers ($4k to fix ) evaporator failing ($5k to fix) and also these engines have a known fault that the pistons don’t inbed in properly in some of the engines and it burns massive amount of oil. (Did a test in a customers car, was burning about 2L of oil every 1000km) Also comes with a few hiccups here and there with coolant leaks, and oil leaks etc. I’ve never had a problem with the XC90 D5 (diesel engines) as they seems much better because they don’t have the engines failing or a supercharger in these models. This have the failing evaporator but this item was the least part failing out of everything I mentioned. I hope this information has helped out some people who are deciding to purchase a Volvo 😊

T6 106k miles, replaced Brake pads, spark plugs, and one to engine mount. Everything works! Amazing auto pilot up to 80mph lifetime avg 21.3 MPG mixed driving, regular gas! Quiet, blast T6, super comfortable seats, active safety! I cant think of anything better. Stay away from T5

Gorgeous inside and out and brilliantly designed. This car purrs when you accelerate. Not only is it the safest car on the road, its luxurious and fun to drive.

We actually traveled four hours to this Chicago used car dealership that listed a lot of used model X's, drove a couple, then found out that they will personally inspect a car and give us a high-quality video walk around and deliver to us for $350 [chicago to 49417]. Nader was very helpful and patient. So we went home and kept checking online until that dealership listed the car with all the options we wanted, then got videos via txt, called back and asked some basic questions, then bought and had it delivered. They also helped us navigate the intricacies of an interstate purchase. We also learned that model X's move quickly, Driven Auto dozens of cars per week if not more, so when you see it you better pull the trigger quickly

I love my car I’ve only put 2,000 miles on it so far but it runs perfectly and is so comfortable and convenient with kids.

I purchased a 96 Caprice from this dealer.....buying experience was top notch. They answered all of my many questions about the car, negotiated price with me and had the car delivered in record time. The vehicle arrived in an enclosed trailer, was clean and ran perfectly. There were no issues with the car that I found. Normal wear and tear for a 21 year old car but very clean and taken care of. I've owned this car for just over three years and this past weekend I crossed the 40k mile mark and if I was to go back and but this car at 40K miles, it probably would look and drive just like how I'd feel if I was buying this car today. It looks and feels just as new, and I could not be happier. Its a great looking car, I've clicked a million pictures of it and thought its been three years, it looks great and fresh and I'm sure, it will age really well. The design still looks just as new and will continue to look trendy a few years down the lane as well. The engine seems a little under-powered at times because at the end of the day its a mere 2-litre V-4 engine, but otherwise, the performance is decent. Its an extremely comfortable family SUV and in 5 seat mode it has loads of cargo capability. All in all its a great vehicle.

This car exceeds all of our needs. Very comfortable and has a ton of room. Gets decent gas mileage. We love all the many safety features it has and all the extras it has to make driving easy.

Volvo proves they know luxury. This is the most amazing technologically I have ever driven. The horsepower from the supercharged 4-cylinder blows me away. Easily manages the entire family. Plenty of room. Convenient features abound. The semi-autonomous driving with adaptive cruise is amazing. And the best touchscreen in any car I've ever been in by far.

We were looking for a luxury SUV that handled well and looked great. This was the best SUV that we ever purchased! It is high off the ground and handles well on the highway and in the city. Torque and hp are excellent and the car is whisper quiet on the road. The interior is very luxurious and the leather is soft and comfortable.

I want to note this dealership as one of the best, with flexible prices and professional staff. I especially want to note sales guides: Agnes Landowski and Dennis Azarov. They have proven themselves not only as good advisors in financial matters but also as experts in the technical features of cars.

Best SUV I have ever owned. By far most reliable and far more impressive than the three previous BMWs I owned. Volvo has quality built into the manufacturing process and they have hit a home run with the performance in the R-Design.

I’ve always had Volvo sedans as my daily driver. Safe, reliable, and served me well. Two made it to 200,000 miles. We decided to get an SUV for road trips and this is an amazing vehicle. This is the most luxurious and most high tech Volvo I’ve owned. The safety features are amazing. The ride is so comfortable. It has more power as well. Gas mileage could be better - but it is an SUV. Totally satisfied so far. This may be the last car I own now that I’m retired and won’t be driving 20,000 miles a year.
