2019 Lexus LX 570 review

2018 Dodge Challenger review
The Challenger is a car that stands out from the others with its sleek and sexy eye appealing curves and performance. The Challenger has the appeal of a modern day muscle car with the power and performance to back it up. With modern conveniences like Air conditioning, heated and cooled seats and much more. The seats in the challenger will suck you into them and hold you securely while you are operating the car. Wether it be taking a nice Sunday stroll or flooring it around a corner drifting, the seats will hold you securely and snugly. The Challenger has a huge trunk space for additional groceries or clothing for trips or the grocery store. The back seat is big and can lay down flat. For an adult they back seat will be cramped. The challenger turns heads no matter where you go or what model you choose. The performance you will get out of your car will leave a smile on your face every time you drive it. It will also leave you wanting to drive all the time. When you first step on the gas and the challenger responds. Pushing you back into your seat a little giving you the feeling of the power it holds. If that doesn’t make you smile you are in the wrong vehicle. If you want the best modern Muscle car look no further the Challenger is it. Since the 60’s and 70’s the challenger hasn’t changed much unlike the Mustang and Camaro. This was an out of town purchase. I live in Houston, TX. I purchased from Pittsburg, TX. So all comms was done via phone. They worked w/me on price. Included in the agreement was that they would ship the vehicle to me. I decided to purchase. Overall the purchase part went well. However, I have execellent credit, so part of the purchasing process going well was because of me (credit score & putting $15k down). I had interactions w/Amy M. Jose V. (GM) and Cesar (Finance). All interactions w/the people were fine, all were nice & professional. The only hiccup was the delivery aspect of the process. I purchased the vehicle on 06/04 (Wed). I did my part & was very prompt about completing the paperwork via docusign & sending the wire for $15k. I received a call from Amy on Fri, 06/06 wanting to confirm my address for the temp plates. I asked about delivery & she said that it should be delivered to me today. I was very excited to hear that I was going to get my Jeep. Then she put me on hold & came back & said they could not ship because there were problems w/funding. I told her that they got the wire & that finance went through them & there were no problems. I quickly called their local bank & their bank confirmed they received the wire the day before. I text Amy & Jose to find out what is really going on....did not hear back, so I called. All ended up being fine (however, I suspect it was a diversion to use as an excuse as to why the vehicle was not going to be shipped that day since she slipped-up & said that it was going to be). Later that night Jose called me to tell me that my car would be delivered on Mon, but I had to pick it up from Manhiem probably around 5pm. I agreed. Mon, 06/09, a lot of back & forth, back & forth (I left work early & had to take an Uber (1 hr to work & 1 hr back) since I got rid of my truck on Sun, 06/07, since I was told I would be getting my vehicle delivered on Mon. No vehicle on Mon... I was then told it would be here Tues, 06/10 b/c of the weather they had on Mon....Well, little did they know that my husband drove open road & hot shot & shipping companies don't play that game. Rain is not going to stop them (my husband was later told (after getting involved) that it was due to a driver have a "tummy ache")....Tues rolls around, a lot of back & forth again. I borrowed my husband truck & left work early again, so I could get to that side of town & get the car without the transport guy waiting on me. Nope, .....no car. Was told it would be Wed by 3pm, but no later than 5pm....took Uber to work (1-hr there, left work early again) & Ubered back 1-hr. A lot of back & forth, back & forth...& was told that the vehicle was picked up & left about 11:30am-12noon....It is a 4-1/2 drive from Pittsburg, TX to Houston, TX...the weather was bad, but a driver would only go through bad weather for about 1-2 hours out of the 4-1/2 drive (was watching weather radar on phone)....Sat by my phone from 3:30pm to 7:45pm waiting on a call from the transport company. Got a text from Jose saying the transport company had been trying to call me for 2 hours ----xxxxxxxx! I had my phone on me like white-on-rice. Headed over to Manheim got the vehicle. Note, my purchasing paperwork said the Odometer was 10 miles. I got in the vehicle and the mileage was 43 miles. Wow! Someone was cruising around about 33 miles on my expense. Not cool. In any event, I must say Jose V. was very professional throughout the whole process. There were times I wished he would have been the one to keep me posted, instead of me being the one having to constantly text for info & updates. Would I buy from them again? Yes. However, I would not leave it to them to transport a vehicle. Just pay the money & get your own shipping vendor to do it. The loss of work for 3 days in a row & the cost of Uber was not cool either. Transporter said he left Pittsburg, TX at 2:30-3pm....so that was a lie as well, when I was told driver left at 12.
2013 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 review
I have the base model WT regular cab long bed gas burner. Yes, I know gas. But, I don't do enough for a diesel and I also like real trucks so 1/2tons do not suit me. I've had 1/2tons before I always break them by pushing their towing capacity and so far the 2013 Chevrolet 2500HD gas hasn't failed me or left me on the side of the road its a great truck even drove it through water that came half way up the headlights no issues "key is don't let off the gas" It's also a tough truck side swapped a tree mudding got a little dent out of it and somebody side swap me when I first got it hardly any damage its been rear ended 18times luckily my hitch is still good 11 of thoughs vehicles were totalled also rear bumper is still solid and firmly attached. I've pushed tree's over with it even pulled contractors van that was buried in the sand out. Manual 4x4 works great. I like real trucks and this is a real truck and real trucks are not ment to get good mpg mine averages between 8mpg city and 15mpg highway and 10mpg when I'm hauling.

2015 Nissan Frontier review
195k miles and my truck still fires up and runs excellently. Everything from the value, the power, the utility, the reliability, and, in my opinion, the looks, are superb. I will say the turning radius is quite awful, but in light of all the positive things I could say about this truck, it's an easy recommendation, and by far the best vehicle I've had the please of owning. It is a barebones truck, but Nissan did an excellent job fine tuning it and making it one of those 10+ year trucks you wish every other truck could be.

2023 Ford F-150 review
A little choppy on dirt roads, feel the uneven paved road surfaces. I attribute this to the 4X4 suspension. Excellent payload , 1865 lbs.for the non-turbo 3.3 liter which has been stellar performer in 35K miles. I average 24mpg all weather. Very good drive modes, sport kicks it up to V8 feel, shift on the fly seamless. Handles great with loads 1000 lbs. plus. Hot riding vinyl seats are sport like hugging you, difficult to turn around to look out the back window. I don't rely solely on back up camera because it does hide the corners where pedestrians are. Confining driving position barely allows for my 6 foot frame. Seats belong in a sports car, not a truck! I should have got the cloth seats! The cab lacks much space behind seats for a small cooler of water or duffel bag. The transmission was clunky in the first 4 months. I think it was the computer adjusting for driving habits. The 12" touch screen has many features and can be turned off. Integrated phone is easy set up, Personal music can be played or built in music apps. The maps are great showing satellite view and North South configuration based on direction view. Service often freezes when you get in valleys. The worst feature is vehicle manual on computer, takes 10x longer to find what you are looking for. Ask Ford to order a printed booklet! The instrument panel is well laid out however the steering wheel sometimes obstructs information. The tilt, telescope wheel is perfect for shorter drivers. There are many cluster views to choose from and two trip odometers, a big plus. I choose one layout for all driving. Took a long time to get used to where radio controls are as I was always turning down the blower motor switch. Blower motor has 8 speeds and whisper quiet up to 5. Also has an ac booster for quick cab cooling, heat, nice! The stereo has equalizer, 4 speakers and will blow out your ear drums unless you have deafness. I find the adjustments for instrument brightness, headlights, fog, and bed lights to be very awkward, An afterthought by Ford engineers? Placed at lower left below segregated instrument layout. Needs to be easily visible, not hidden from view and adjustment. The high beams light up the next county and 50 feet up the treeline. Not sure I need to see owls in the trees, but I can. The flash to pass feature needs to be more blinks, changing lanes that fast is dangerous. The windshield is large and raked offering a full road view and pillars don't obstruct the roadway. The rear view camera can be used while driving and shows tailgaters. The rear window has defrost, tint. The tint is great but defrost is imo a dumb idea. Window easily defrosts with heat or defogs with ac. This isn't a car! I chose Ford over competition because my last F150 gave me 400K, never left me stranded, had a great V6, super good tranny and decent fuel mileage. I like the payload, handling, maps and my music from my apps. I like the aluminum clad where my last steel truck started rusting everywhere. The weight is nimble feel while driving, almost sporty on twisty roadways with very good acceleration and quicker stopping. The cost of ownership is less than foreign and many domestic. I have no recalls in 2 years. I drive in snow often, the handling and my confidence level are excellent but I still have weight in the bed for traction since this is 700 lbs. lighter than my 2013. Overall, I like this vehicle very much and look forward to a new one, better designed or upgraded 2028.

2022 Ford F-150 review
2022 F150 PowerBoost 3.5 twin turbo absolutely hauls xxx with phenomenal gas mileage on a 30 gallon tank. I’ve gotten a true 600 and 700 miles out of a tank of gas when it’s in Eco mode it will run on battery alone if you’re on flat level ground and maintain your speed that’s how they obtain so many miles out of a tank full of gas probably one of the best F1 50s I’ve owned and I’ve had several of them. If you leave it in tow Haul mode it will disengage the auto stop start so the vehicle remains on. It’s been absolutely bullet proof with zero issues. If I’m not driving the Dually Diesel F350 I’m driving this..

2023 Ford F-150 review
2023 F150 Lariat. Just bought this used so these are my first impressions. So far very happy with the truck. Comfortable and handles nicely. V-6 seems very responsive. My issues at this point are related to my ability to setup this truck the way I want it. I am lucky that it came with the feature for automatic shutoff every time you stop for a red light already permanently removed. I would hate that feature if it had it. There is a lot of other features I would just as soon not have that I have had varying levels of success in turning off. Automatic lane keeping is one. While I was able to turn it off in the settings, it still interferes with setting cruise control. When I try to turn cruise control on it sets lane keeping anyway and I have to turn it off with another button press, while showing a stupid truck icon on the dash instead of my speed. I have to press an OK button to turn lane keeping off, then it will set the cruise control. All these button presses and having to look at the dash while doing this are very distracting and increases the time I'm not looking at the road, actually making the truck less safe. You really have to pick your time for setting cruise control. The automatic braking is another dangerous feature in my view. Thankfully I was able to turn that one off. The truck will beep 2 times if the engine is running and you get out, like to check your mailbox. It is irritating at best, not just for me, but for my neighbors, especially early in the morning or late at night. There is no mute button on the steering wheel for the radio, that I can find at least. I had this feature on other trucks and found it very helpful. Reverse brake assist makes no sense to me at all. I turned it off, but it is another one that puts a warning message on the dash to tell me that. I find the warning messages for the features I have turned off distracting and useless. These are my first impressions, there will probably be more later.

2018 Ford F-150 review
Eight years in my Ford truck. I love it. I looked at GM trucks (Chevy & GMC), still nowhere nears as comfortable as a Ford. Yes I’ve had all the known issues but carried warranties for my truck so transmission has been overhauled. Cam phasers twice (Covered by Ford one and Warranty 2nd time). Just overhauled the front end (bushings, control arm assembly, etc…). Truck still runs like new and rides even better now than when I bought, she is finally broken in and I love my truck. For taller drivers like me, Ford is way to go. Ford has more cabin space than any other truck out there. Ford trucks have the best styling and more towing capacity than anything else in the mkt. Next truck will either be a Raptor or F-250 super duty.

2023 Ford F-150 review
My experience is very positive. Great looks. Great power. Fit finish inside and out first class. Handling on road no complaints. Off road the truck is a beast. 34” tires help appearance and ground clearance. I think it’s the right choice in this segment of trucks. But man the recalls blow. This axle bolt half shaft one has taken forever to get done. It kinda throws manure on a great truck. Other than that it’s a keeper ! The ecoboost 3.5 is really strong. It also sounds like a small V6 which is not so great. As long as it keeps small V6ing and doesn’t break I’m good. But no coyote sound check needed. The paint is maybe the biggest surprise. It’s really good. Interior highlights are just normal comfortable observations. Nothing over the top but adequate. It handles deep snow well. It handles 75 mph in 100 degree heat well. It’s smooth sleek and fast. Stopping power is real good. I’d buy another one for sure. It has the recall issues but they all do so that’s all l gotta say about that.

2022 Ford F-150 review
My 2022 STX 4x4 is totally awesome. Most importantly it’s 100% American. The 5.0 engine puts out plenty of power and pulls great . I put a 3 inch lift on the front and a 2 1/2 inch lift on the rear . I’m riding on 2022 35” inch tires and 18” raptor wheels . Also have an exhaust system with a large cold air intake system and passenger side oil catch can . All work was done at mall of ga ford . Now I have 15475 miles and just had my fourth oil change and service from mall of ga ford they completely take care of my truck .

2018 Mercedes-Benz AMG GT review
I have had weekend cars for some years now. Started with BMW M3 (E46 competition package), moved to Porsche 911 turbo (997.1 with 6-sp), then 2015 Nissan GTR (I truly enjoyed that car) and I am on the 2018 MB AMG GTR now. I drive them only during late Spring, Summer and store them from October to April. I keep them for 2-4 summers, then move on. MB AMG GTR is the next level. It is starting to encroach into exotic car territory. Lots of attention. It is a race focused machine and by far the most uncomfortable sport car I have owned so far. But that is a good thing. Engine is at the moment one of the best in the business. Sounds awesome. It is a tricky car to drive fast so one has to be a bit more careful when compared to Nissan GTR/Porsche 911 turbo or even Porsche 911 GT3. I had a rear light failure within the first 4k miles. Fixed under warranty. Entertainment system is a bit old. In general I would say this car is worth the money.
