If it weren’t for the TCM issue, I would’ve loved this car. It is very unfortunate, that the decisions made by a select few,, have made such a long lasting impact. I will never buy another Ford ever again. Not because of the TCM issue, because as I said, other than that, I loved the car. It didn’t give me any trouble up until last year after the TCM issue but it’s also 10 years old so things are starting to go on it, which is normal. But the reason I will never buy another Ford is because I cannot trust Ford. I would like to ask the guy that decided it was OK to sell these cars, knowing there was faulty transmissions in them, I would like to meet him and ask him - Would you recommend this car to anyone in your family? Would you put your own children in this car, knowing what you knew, about the faulty transmission? Also, I would like to add that’s just the beginning - because even though the TCM was a “field action” to most owners, Ford made it so that your transmission issues had to be severe enough in order for it to be covered under the warranty. Therefore, essentially Ford is saying “ I know we messed up by lying to you, by selling these cars, even though they did not pass Fords “stringent safety regulations”. and putting you and your family at risk, which in turn has created financial burdens and worry, anxiety and anguish” BUT Unfortunately, in order for us to fix one of our mistakes, your TCM issue has to be severe enough by our standards, to be covered by this “ customer satisfaction program”.

No no no no NO!!!
Bought as a pre-owned certified in 2016. I am a female and was only 21 at the time so i didn't know anything about cars. Since the beginning the car would jolt when accelerating. Should have seen that as a red flag. Later on I took it to the Ford dealership for the transmission part recall and they "fixed it". Okay. Not even 5,000 miles later it is having the same issue. Take it to get fixed... And then again RPMs shoot up, the car is stalling. Took it in again, they supposedly fixed it. Not even a month later it does the same thing again. I ended up selling it to a dealership for only $1,000 at 79,000 miles. Piece of junk. The Bluetooth and USB port only worked 20% of the time. Do your research before buying a car.
