Have had our 2023 Highlander XLE AWD since April 2023. Live in Chicago area and have driven to Arizona and Maine. Zero problems with the car. We put a large Thule box on the roof, multiple mountain bikes on a bike carrier and a kayak. Lots of luggage, got 27 miles per gallon on both trips. Plenty of power in the Rocky Mountains. Would recommend the car to others. We have a great Toyota dealership but all we have needed is schedule maintenance.

We bout this 2023 highlander sport with 11,0kay miles at 20,000 miles we have experienced electrical problems light isn’t working on drivers heated seat, hatch back doesn’t close arteries loading groceries, backing out of the garage brakes locked up and suddenly released with a big bang., carbply wouldn’t connect with phone or gps, for 3 hours! I’ve been back to the dealership but they can’t find the problem .

Engine lags, poor acceleration, small cramped interior. Poor fuel efficiency, Suburban was getting the same mpg. Blah styling and disappointing handling. Not sure how this car will be able to tow anything. Bluetooth may or may not connect. Fuel light will not turn on until there is 10 miles left in the tank!! Bought this car off of brand reputation. Very disappointed!! My advice RUN Far away fast!!
