This particular Thunderbird is a highly original example, equipped with the optional 390 cubic inch V8 engine and a 4-barrel carburetor, paired with a smooth 3-speed automatic transmission. It comes fully loaded with factory options including air conditioning, power windows, power lock, power front disc brakes, and power steering. One of the more unique features is the rate swing-away tilt steering column-a hallmark of Thunderbird innovation.Another standout feature is its fully functional, engineering marvel of a retractable convertible top-an advanced system that continues to impress today.Inside this Thunderbird proudly retains its original carpet, interior seating, surfaces, and glass. The vehicle rides on original and optional Kelsey Hayes wire wheels, now fitted with modern radial tires for improved drivability. The body boasts original sheet metal with no rust, and while it has received a quality repaint during its lifetime, it still presents as highly authentic. New weather stripping was installed at the time of repaint to ensure long-lasting preservation. Test drove this car

Cruises very nicely, gets lots of thumbs up and waves. Harley riders all seem to like it! A real history cruiser from 51 years ago! Everybody smiles at this car!

Great exterior styling. Interior is also very nice. If your over 6 feet tall you might find it a little to small, but for all others its very nice with a ride that is very smooth. Plenty of power with its 390 cu. in. V8 engine, it also has all the luxury features like power windows, locks, steering and brakes True luxury from years gone bye.
