We bought the vehicle new in August of 2022. The following problems have caused me to go to the dealership 1. Both front door panels were away from door interior 2. All wheel drive icon would not disengage 3. Twice lost radio power replaced amplifier 4. Dual clutch tranny needed full replacement I know the rule of thumb was never buy the first year of a vehicle model however I thought that was an old concept that applied mainly to GM,really thought that today qulity control would have been better. This is the first Asian vehicle I have ever owned and felt that they would be as reliable as Honda but to my chagrin have been proved wrong. Other than the listed issues we love the ride, the acceleration, the handle and the ventilated seats ( we live in Florida ). Would we buy the same model in a later year probably. As compared with some of the stories concerning dealerships needing to replace the tranny ours Jenkins Leesburg, Fl. gave me a new Santa Cruz to use for the three days with no hassle. The only complaint I have with them was the $5000 they added to MSRP when they said the Limited was not readily available. If my wife didn't have to have this vehicle at that price $ 45,000 it wouldn't have happened but all you married guys should know the consequence if it doesn't happen!!!!!

The paint is chipping off of it everywhere small chips when it rains or when you wash your car, you open the doors and inside the door frame, it is always wet.

We have a 2022 Limited with 24000 miles. It serves its purpose well with the ability to cary bark dust and as a daily driver. The creature comforts are very nice with the cooled seats and the heated steering wheel. is inexcusable that the top model has a manual passenger seat. The headlights are the worst I have ever driven with.
