I purchased my 2016 GMC Terrain SLT in 2018 as a gently

Used to own this car

I purchased my 2016 GMC Terrain SLT in 2018 as a gently used vehicle with only 21,000 miles on it. I never had issues with it. I kept it regularly serviced and had to replace tires. At now over 93,000 it has been a comfortable and very reliable car. The only feature I wished it had was rear air conditioning. Living here in the SE it gets hot and it takes a “minute” to get the back of the vehicle cooled down. However, I rarely have back seat passengers, and thankfully, the really hot weather lasts only a few months! I have been very pleased with this car and would recommend it to others. I traded it in a week ago for a larger car only because I need the room for a grandchild, and my elderly parents.

I owned the car for the months, head gasket was blown

Owns this car

I owned the car for the months, head gasket was blown between heads and gasket. Still not running three months later. Timing belt stretched to the point of cutting a hole in cover. Would not recommend.

I bought this vehicle in a pinch & within 6 months I

Used to own this car

I bought this vehicle in a pinch & within 6 months I replaced my 1st engine, then within 4 more years I had to replace engine #2. After that it basically fell apart, I was constantly fixing something. Just reaffirms that fact that looks can be deceiving. Unless you wanna spend alot in repar bills i would not recommend this vehicle
