Used to own this car

Bought a 2010 Rogue for my daughter who was in college at the time. She drove the car for 4 months and the transmission went out. We got the infamous limp mode and took it to a repair shop. On the way to the shop the AC just randomly stopped working. Spent a total of 6k on a car we only gave 8k to purchase for a new transmission and AC compressor. Two weeks later the O2 sensor failed, so back to the shop. Another 300.00 spent. The new transmission lasted less than a year and the car was down again. This time I called a local junkyard and sold it for 350.00. I will never own another Nissan period, but I would definitely advise that you avoid the 2010 Rogue like it's the plague because it will be as far as your wallet is concerned!

Paint coming out at the hood, roof & spoiler

The paint is getting out at the roof, hood and spoiler. I see the same model and color in the different places and all of them having the same problem. Very bad paint All of them are black.

Transmission safety feature

Great vehicle except for the safety feature on the transmission. When traveling a great distance especially in warm weather the vehicle won't go over 40 mph without having to stop and let the transmission cool off. Very dangerous if you are traveling on the interstate
