My 2014 Equinox LTZ has over 200,000 miles on it. Been the most reliable vehicle I’ve ever owned including a Jeep Grand Cherokee. Will buy Equinox again. - Purchased a Used car

Engine is weak. Downshifts too much on interstate
This car is a good size but engine is just too small for interstate driving. The interior is comfortable. Driving is good has a good feel to the road. Pretty good car if it had 40 or 50 more horse power. - Purchased a Used car

Oil leaks into the engines.
There is/was a recall through 2013 for the engines on this car. The 2014 suffer from the same problem of oil leaking into the engine but is not under the recall (owners petitioned but the GOP stacked courts upheld not including) We replaced the engine and now a year later and about 8k miles more same problem is occurring. Have about another month on the engine. - Purchased a New car

My Comfort car
A great car, to travel in, lots of leg room, comfortable seats, easy to steer, a/c is great, hard to heat up inside in the winter, but over-all a great SUV. - Purchased a Used car

Don't waste your money
I am 66 yrs old and have owned numerous cars, this is by far the worst car I have ever driven. Yes I bought it used, but I have had it at the shop every month for one issue or another for the past year. Not ever buying another chevy product again The sensor light come on and the electrical system now reads codes and makes the car not run. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY - Purchased a Used car

Engine troubles
This car has a ver narrow space in the back. A set of golf clubs do not fit in the back so you have to lower the back seat for them to fit! I had to change a variable timing solenoid multiple times in this car and at 105,000 miles the timing chain failed and the engine was shot! When it was working, it was a comfortable car to drive and I enjoyed it but there were a lot of headaches. Buy this car and your mechanic will thank you! - Purchased a Used car

Comfortable
Most comfortable car I have ever ridden in. I will buy this car again. This rides more comfortable than my sister-in-law's Audi. I'm looking by a 2023 hybrid equinox. - Purchased a Used car

Most unreliable vehicle
AC compressor went out first thing from the dealer and I was charged for it?? Then it went out for another issue and cost me. The next thing was check engine light for some sensor that was related to transmission and another one that was for emissions and was told it would be cost $2400 to be repaired. For the amount of headache this vehicle just isn't worth it. Too, too many smaller issues as well and ride is stiff and used 2 qts of oil between changes. For a vehicle that is one owner before us and only 86k miles is unacceptable. Never a domestic car again and definitely not a GM. What a joke of a company. - Purchased a Used car

Pros and Cons of Chevy Equinox.
The car is popular, easy to drive, and stylish..hard time getting Chevy to service the car especially when it started getting older. Also had a problem with the windshield wipers that I had to pay to have fixed, and it's now on recall. - Purchased a New car

Mother what Chevrolet used to be.
Great car, but hut my head every time I get into driver seat. Wish it had duel controls for a/c and heat. Love the upgrades ture rims, makes car more stylish. Built-in navigation system died 2 years into purchase of new car. Want $500 to upgrade. Not happening! - Purchased a New car
