Purchased this 2023 Ridgeline after my 2020 was totaled
Purchased this 2023 Ridgeline after my 2020 was totaled out. The 2020 gets slightly better gas mileage, but they are very comfortable and quiet vehicles. I have many friends with larger trucks that have poor ride quality and lack the ease of use. The best thing is that Honda last forever. I still have and drive a 92 Civic. Two things I wish Honda and other manufacturers would do in the mid size truck market; one is make the back seats recline and make a reliable hybrid. Everything else is perfect. I was going to buy a newer Ridgeline since the display controls are better, but I loved the in bed speakers that are no longer on the newer models. It’s more truck than you’ll need for 90% of what you use it for. - Purchased a Used car

Bought this 2023 Ridgeline RTL used with only 4000 miles
Bought this 2023 Ridgeline RTL used with only 4000 miles in Nov 2024, so it is essentially a new car. I was coming from a similar class, a 2018 Nissan Frontier. The new electronics suite is really nice. Turning radius is slightly less, so still getting used to that especially when backing into spaces. The tilt down/swing open tailgate is very handy, and the extra trunk under the deck is a Godsend for groceries, and the trunk also keeps the spare tire out of the elements until that rare time I have to get at it. All in all I like it a lot (price tag could have been lower), but no real complaints as yet. Only little things are that I am still reaching for a shifter (push button automatic), and reaching to turn off the key (which is now a fob in my pocket). Nice smooth ride which is really nice for some of the longer rides I take. - Purchased a Used car

I have a 2023 Ridgeline.
I have a 2023 Ridgeline. The windshield blacks out at night time. Google black out windshield. I'm not the only one complaining if this unsafe windshield living north on dark bush roads. My Honda dealership said bearable. I want safe bot bearable. The light distance sucks compared to my 2013 Ridgeline sering 4 times further with headlights. 400.000 on my 2013. Never once a problem. Had this truck or excuse me not truck a unibody. I tried to trade I'm after 2 weeks. Worst 75000 if ever wasted my money on. Took back for new tonneau cover and still leaks. Big disappointment. - Purchased a New car

RTL is great except the radio
Love everything about this truck except the radio and android auto I have the RTL HPD version with the radio that requires smart phone interface for maps etc. It is very complicated interface and dissapointing. RTL E has built in navigation and superior radio. I like everything else. - Purchased a New car

Melty plastic trim
Purchased a 2023 ridgeline in July and I am disappointed with melting plastic trim pieces between the front and back windows. Apparently the sun melts the plastic, they say windows cause it. Honda dealer gave me an article from 2011 that Honda and other car companies Knew about this bad project and are still using it. My brand-new car had deformed plastic trim all wavey. The Dealer at 1st denied replacing it, but I complained so they did this time. Unfortunately, the sun is still out there, and my car will look bad in the future due to faulty product, windows and sun. This issue needs to be disclosed to purchaser or replaced always. This is on the shiny black trim parts. - Purchased a New car

Melting plastic on 2023 Honda Ridgeline
I like the way it drives, I had a 2017 Honda Ridgeline, but my 2023 has plastic on it the deforms from the sun. Honda has known about the problem and is still using this material. The Honda dealer gave me an article from 2011. The changed out the deformed window trim however said only this time they would correct the damage. I am applauded that Honda a car company would use faulty material that cannot standup to the mild weather in NC. I did not pay $40,000 for a new car that can be deformed from the sun. This needs to be a recall for consumers getting a bad product. They knew about this problem and are denying people to have it repaired for free. They need to replace this plastic trim between windows and along the back window for better non melting material. - Purchased a New car

My nice Honda Ridgeline
Pros: This the best pickup for an average pickup truck owner. I have no plans on towing anything and the truck drives very good. The Ridgeline interior is quiet and spacious, is an excellent highway cruiser, has very good sight lines, excellent seat comfort, nice storage spaces in the cab and truck bed, and is well made with a solid structure. The interior materials are made up of quality pieces. Fits my garage. The Honda engineering is so good that I can overlook or accept the minuses. Cons: The Ridgeline is missing some features and the tech needs updating. I am happy with my truck. My Honda dealership made my purchase transaction very simple. - Purchased a New car

Exactly the truck that I needed
Purchased the RTL version in 2023. So far it has continued to meet all the requirements/expectations that I had when I bought it: dependable, well built, good gas mileage, very comfortable, plenty of interior room, a decent size bed for the things that I would normally need to haul, a great daily driver. - Purchased a New car

2023 Honda Ridgeline works for me
The Ford Maverick had been on my radar since they were announced a few years ago. Liked the idea of a small pickup that could seat five in a pinch and lug around yard stuff that my wife needs. Really wanted my next vehicle to be a hybrid or electric for the sake of efficiency. Unfortunately, or fortunately in my case, Ford dealers are marking up Mavericks by $5000 or more. What would be a value purchase in my mind goes out the window with that. Have always got 10-25% off sticker in all my car dealings -- not starting now after 45 years of buying new cars from dealers. An internet inquiry about the Ridgeline ended up with $5000 off sticker and 0.9% financing. The Ridgeline is more than enough truck for my modest hauling requirements and is plenty well appointed in the RTL trim. The only downside in my mind is the mediocre fuel economy. The Ridgeline would get five stars all the way around if it was a hybrid, which I'm sure will probably be out in a few years. Overall a really nice driving vehicle with plenty of cabin room and all-around versatility. - Purchased a New car
