I purchased this car new in 2013 and the only issue I had the first 5 years was premature tire wear. Went through 3 sets in those years and only had 50K miles. The issues surfaced year 5. First the transmission locked itself into park with breaks engaged and had to have it towed with lots of trouble since the tires would not rotate. Since it was still days before the warranty lapsed, Dodge took care of it. Then literally in the second month after year 5, warranty now lapsed, it blew the head gasket, had heat sensor issues, and almost caught on fire. Dodge would not help fix it. I voluntarily surrendered the car as I could never afford the $3.5K required engine repair. I regret 100% having ever purchased this car. Do not recommend any dodge vehicle after this experience.

Would absolutely not recommend this car to anybody one. Financed for this vehicle back in Jan 2020. Took a 5 day trip in March of that yr before covid, when I got back the car wouldn’t start. Car was constantly back and forth in the shop until one day in Oct 2021 the car completely stopped running. I was fed up and decided I wouldn’t pay another dime on this vehicle . You want to know how bad this vehicle is? I called the lien holder twice once in 2022, again in 2023 to get it voluntarily repossessed. Guess who still has possession of the vehicle? Not even the bank wants this vehicle back.

I bought my 2013 Dodge dart brand new in November of 2012. My kids called it my in life crisis car I called it My last car I'm ever going to buy 😂 it is now April of 2024 and I have 24,500 mi on the car and the only thing I've had to do was normal maintenance, change oil and replace tires. I love the Dodge dart and I checked the gas mileage last weekend after a trip and I got 32 mi to the gallon. Very happy! When I dye my grandson will be happy to have it also.
