From the 2008 Los Angeles Auto Show, Cars.com's Mike Hanley takes a look at the interior of the Ford Mustang. It competes with the Dodge Challenger and the Chevrolet Camaro.

Hi, I'm Mike Hanley with cars.com and we're here at the Los Angeles auto show with the 2010 Ford Mustang.
Our other video covered the Mustang's exterior and powertrain changes, but in this video, we wanna focus on what Ford has done with the interior of the car and the new features available in it. Ford's given the Mustang a higher grade interior thanks to the use of this soft touch dashboard surface, which is a kind of a premium feature for this type of car. You can also see it as a new gauge cluster layout, and also this ball shifter for the manual transmission, which is a nice detail. Also, if you look in the center control area, this is a whole new design and it replaces controls that were decent, but this improves on the quality of it. And also this model doesn't have it, but you can get a large navigation screen in the middle here if you want one. In addition to the navigation system, the Mustang is also available with Ford SYNC entertainment and communication system, and other features you don't see on lots of other cars, like an easy fuel capless fueling system that's designed to reduce emissions when filling up the car with gas and also a standard electronic stability system, which is an important addition for this type of vehicle. If you're on the fence about trying to decide, should I get a 2009 Mustang now or wait for the 2010 in spring '09?
