(electric guitar music) Hi, I'm Bill Jackson with Cars.com, and we're here with the 2011 GMC Acadia. Now, you notice it looks slightly different than other Acadias. That's because this is the Denali, and that's new for 2011.
So we're gonna look at what makes up that Denali package. Now, the changes for what makes a Denali start on the outside. There's a different front and rear end design. It's a little more cohesive, a little more different use of chrome. Also on the side, there's body colored body side moldings that are different than the regular Denali. And around back, there are chrome exhaust tips. Also, another easy way to tell it's a Denali is it gets these high intensity discharge headlights. Now, inside of the Denali, you get this leather wrapped steering wheel with sort of a woodgrain finish that carries on through the center stack and in the interior. Another thing that's standard is you get these perforated leather seats that are heated and cool. That's very nice. But I think my favorite feature that's part of the Denali is this dual pane sunroof as well as a head-up display, both are pretty nice to have. Now, the Acadia is a three row crossover. It means you can seat up to eight people. Now, we have the two captain's chairs back here, but you can also get a bench seat to seat one more person. I have to say, I don't find the seats particularly comfortable, but on the other hand, I'm not really hurting for room, so that's pretty nice. Now, obviously these are the third row seats up. They fold over to give you more cargo room. And I go into more specifics about that, you know, how many golf clubs it carries as well as how it handles child seats in my full review on Cars.com. So you'll wanna check that out. Now, the last thing about the Denali package is that it is just interior and exterior pieces. The drive train, engine, and transmission, that stays the same whether it's a Denali or regular Acadia. And I go into the driving impressions on my review on Cars.com. Overall, though, I think for this price, the Denali package does offer some nice luxury bits. <v Man>For more car related news, go to Cars.com, or our blog, KickingTires.net.
