Do you like the Acura Integra, but it's just too darn small, and the RDX is, well, it's maybe a little bit too big? Well, well, well do I have the crossover for you. This is the all new 2025 Acura ADX.
And it is the brand's smallest and most affordable crossover. Let's talk about it. It might be the least expensive SUV in the lineup, but it sure looks like an Acura. No? I mean, it might be difficult from a hard nose perspective at a distance to tell that you're not looking at the RDX, but actually at the new ADX. It's only down 1.6 inches over the RDX, but it rides on the same wheel base and platform as the subcompact Honda HR-V. It does look kind of stubby, but I mean that mostly in a good way. It does have the HR-V's bones, but it also has the Integra's somewhat sporty suspension setup, other than the ride height. That is not all the Integra you're gonna find in the ADX. Under the hood, as your only engine choice, is the Integra's engine, which is 1.5 liter turbocharged four cylinder. Now, power figures are not finalized quite yet, but we're gonna guess it's probably around the same power as the base Integra, which is 200 horsepower. Now, please do not shoot the messenger here, but the only available transmission is a contingency variable transmission, CVT. But for those who are looking for something with all-wheel drive, this starts at front-wheel drive, but across the whole lineup, you can spec it with all-wheel drive. There is a lot of HR-V in here, including a suspiciously similar steering wheel, the nine inch infotainment display, the AC control panel, and the gear selector. But you know what? That is just fine. That has been the name of the game in every base entry level Acura since, well, the beginning of the brand. Why don't you go play find the Civic parts in the Integra? Yeah, that's right. Standard equipment is, well, it's exactly what you would expect. We've got things, fitting the Acura badge, we've got dual zone climate control here. We've got rear vents for the passengers, if you wanna cram somebody back there. Nice old sunroof here and heated seats, not too bad. And again, well, this being an Acura, you are also able to kit it out with most of the brand's goodies if you'd like. You can get a Bang & Olufsen sound system. There's ventilated seats, leather wrapped steering wheel that's also heated. You can get USB-C ports for the rear passengers. Yeah, you can do pretty good with this thing. Not bad, huh? Well, Acura's been on a bit of a sales roll as of late, and I think the all new 2025 ADX is even gonna speed things up even more. Pricing wise, there's no really hard figures yet. Acura has confirmed it's gonna start somewhere in the mid thirties. We'll know more about pricing, power, all those hard figures closer to the car's production launch early next year. And when we do, you can read all about it at cars.com/news.
