The problem: A clicking or clacking noise may emanate from the front wheel bearings due to a lack of wheel-bearing lubricant on the bearing housing assembly.
Vehicles affected by service bulletin:
Corrective action: Dealers will disassemble the front wheel bearings, apply lubricant to the housings and reassemble.
Warranty info: This service is being performed free of charge under Audi’s new-car or extended warranty, whichever applies.
