In the affected vehicles, an O-ring that seals a connection in the fuel feed line may be misaligned. This could cause fuel to leak and may cause a fire if an ignition source is present. The vehicles in the recall were built between April 21 and May 2. You can check the car’s build date on a sticker on the driver-side doorjamb.
The recall is expected to begin on or before May 27. Dealers will replace the fuel feed line assembly for free. Owners can call Honda at 800-999-1009 or NHTSA’s vehicle safety hotline at 888-327-4236.
